MiBox storage unit delivered for temporary storage

Let me begin by saying that we have high expectations of any contractors or vendors we choose to do business with. My wife and I work high-demand jobs and we don't have a ton of time to micromanage the small details of home projects...we far prefer to hire the right folks who are capable of executing a plan and handling any hiccups professionally and proactively. I can easily say that the folks at Koncept Garage meet this standard. I won't spend a ton of time waxing poetic about the quality of the finish outs, flooring, etc. The photos of their work speaks for itself. Spend some time on their YouTube channel and you'll get many of the answers you're looking for regarding their process and how they work. I'd rather focus on three specific things that happened during the project that made them stand out as a first-class operation. The first hiccup we had actually happened before the project even started. Ironically, a few days before our first scheduled meeting with Jeff, we noticed some water leaking into our garage ceiling, which ended up being our master bathroom shower. We went forward with our initial consultation with Jeff, and ended up making our 50% deposit that day, confident that we could get the shower patched up well in time for work to begin in the garage. Unfortunately, it turned out that we needed to completely re-do our shower, including lining, new pan, and tile work...and it turned out to be VERY difficult to find a contractor during that time. Not only was Jeff very understanding of the situation, he stepped up and put out the word within his community of folks to try and help us find someone to get the repair done. Ultimately, we started the job about a month late. The delay and extra coordination was handled seamlessly. The second thing that happened was a small miss during the painting phase. During our initial consultation, we'd asked that the exterior garage doors be painted to match our capstones and the trim be painted black. At the end of painting day, we took a peek inside and out, and the doors and trim were all a middle beige. After a quick convo (via the group text thread...super handy btw) the team coordinated with the painters to come back out and the next day the doors were PERFECT. One of the most frustrating things about these types of projects is when a detail is incorrect or gets missed, because you're unsure if things will be remedied per your original vision. In this case it was quickly and efficiently fixed without the need for us to get super involved. The last milestone of the project was the installation of cabinets, slatwall and equipment storage racks. During our initial consult with Jeff, we had spec'd out a layout for all the components and their placement within the space. My expectation that everything was just going to be installed as prescribed, but it became clear to the team that some modifications were needed. Not because their original layout wouldn't have worked...but because the original plan wasn't the best configuration for the space. The thing that really stood out to me here was that the team doing the install and organization had gotten to know us a bit throughout the job, and they were actually thinking proactively about how we'd use this space now and in the future. And based on what they learned about our lives and lifestyle, they wanted to make some changes that would improve functionality and accessibility. After walking us through the proposed changes in detail, we all agreed that the change would make the space even better. I think the bottom line here is that Koncept Garage is a premiere company to work with. Their attention to detail and prioritization of quality surpasses all other contractors we've ever worked with. If you're ready to transform your garage from a space for all your junk into a useable, attractive, and desirable space to be in, then look no further.

We loved working with Koncept Garage! Jeff and his crew did a great job helping us reorganize and upgrade our space with additional hanging racks, and storage cabinets. The best part, it only took them 2 days!

I am floored at how quickly and thoroughly Koncept Garage organized my garage. They asked my goals and needs for my garage. They immediately drew up a design and estimate at the initial meeting. They worked to get everything I needed within my budget. On organizing day, Jeff, Scott, & Robert asked me for about 15-25 minutes of my time to identify things to trash, donate, or keep. The process went very quickly. After a deep clean and 40 point safety inspection of the garage they installed shelving, a new workbench, and hanging tool organizers. At the end of the day my garage was beautiful!! Everything was labeled, accessible, and met all my goals...even ones I didn't know I needed met! I highly recommend them.

    After!

I highly recommend this company and it is owned by a woman or at least it was last time I checked…read more I'm an interior designer and I design quite a bit of custom furniture myself and have just moved back to Austin from Southern California. I have a new project where I recommended that my client take my drawing and have them design something similar for the laundry room as his new house has no cabinets there. They do a fabulous job here and you won't be disappointed. I use a custom cabinet company for custom millwork in the main living areas, etc.. but for closets and laundry rooms and even home offices I think they can do a great job! They did my master bedroom and den closets for me. I went with the darker wood because that's what I had throughout, but I recommend using white in closets as it doesn't show the dust as much.

I had been considering a Murphy bed for my second bedroom. I wished to free up some space in that…read moreroom as the day bed was rarely used, if you don't count literal cat naps by my two cats. More Space Place advertised Murphy and cabinet beds. The showroom was pretty with examples of how organized your life could be with their cabinets, bookcases, closet organization systems, and Murphy beds. When I asked about a floor model of a cabinet bed, I was sent to Furniture in the Raw (nearby) to view them as there were none in the MSP showroom. I didn't like having to lie to FITR about my visit -- it felt deceitful and I didn't appreciate being put in that position -- but the trip helped me decide. I selected a cabinet bed but didn't purchase immediately as I needed to "rehome" my day bed. I began receiving emails from the sales rep every other day asking me to sign a contract so the order could be placed. I had not expected such aggressive sales tactics and found them annoying. After about 6 weeks, I did go back, sign the contract, and paid in full for the bed. The sales rep agreed to have it delivered in four weeks after I returned from a trip (and before my expected house guests arrived in March). Yay! The trip was postponed (thanks, Covid), but the bed could not be delivered early as it was not yet available. The bed is manufactured in Malasia and the sales rep had no information about shipping. I contacted her again in two weeks, still nothing. At this point, she tried to direct my correspondence/calls to the "delivery team" (whom I had never met). My impression was she was tired of dealing with me and didn't want to be bothered with any follow-up questions. Another two weeks passed; no idea of where the cabinet bed was or when it would be delivered. Now my guest was arriving and I had to hustle to borrow a blow-up mattress! So, the bed was purchased in January and by mid-March there was still no idea of where it was or when it might be delivered. The last time I contacted the sales rep, she blamed the delay on "supply chain issues" and suggested any cancellation would result in more expense as the price had increased. I took that as a veiled threat to discourage me from cancelling, but I was also irked as I knew "supply chain issues" had not prevented her from communicating the status of my order during the previous 10 weeks. Prior to the sale, I received an onslaught of unsolicited emails; after the sale, supply chain issues halt communication? I call BS. I returned to Furniture in the Raw. Lo and behold, they had the exact cabinet bed in their warehouse and it could be delivered in three days. Double checked with MSP. Nope, would be after May 1 before the bed I bought might be available. Long story short: I canceled the MSP order and bought the bed from Furniture in the Raw. Yelp reviews suggest most people had better experiences than I did, but believe me, Five Star treatment is not guaranteed.

First, they showed up to help me trudge through the terrible job of purging and got me super organized. The painful process was somehow made doable by Kat and her team (shout out to Emmerie!), with their firm but gentle persistence to get it all done. They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. They are delightful and super enjoyable and easy to work with, I cannot recommend this crew highly enough!!

She was so much fun to work with - so personable, not too serious yet still very professional, and was genuinely interested in my actual life. Randi also made a huge effort even before our first appointment to understand exactly what I was needing, and asked me to send her some photos that were both fun and also pertaining to what I used the room we would be working on for (i.e. that showed what kinds of items I make in my sewing and craft room). I call myself a mini hoarder, especially when it comes to fabrics and crafts, and she was so patient and non-judgmental towards me. It's very reassuring as well to know that she has so many years of experience working with other adults with ADHD. She snuck in some helpful gems of how to stay organized as we were working through our 3 hours without me really realizing it, but that info sunk in. Only a day after working with her, I found myself looking at a few lamps in that and another room and thinking, "I can donate those - I can let them and tons of other things like those go, and it will make my life much easier and less stressful to let them go. We're not even using them or haven't for 6 years!" She was very inspiring and working with her made me excited to do more, not only in that room but in the rest of the house. After reaching out to several cleaning companies in Austin, Ema's Housekeeping not only gave me the best quote but also had the best communication from the beginning. They arrived right on time and made the entire process very easy. Ralph handled the cleaning and did an incredible job. For just one cleaner, the amount of work he completed was impressive. He took the time to bag trash, organize items, and then do a full deep clean of the apartment. What stood out most was the attention to detail. You can tell they don't rush through the job just to finish quickly -- they actually take the time to do it right. The apartment looks and feels completely reset. Payment was also very simple through Zelle after the service was completed, which made everything convenient and stress-free. Overall this was a great experience and the best price I found in Austin after contacting multiple cleaning companies. If you need a deep clean or even regular maintenance cleaning, I would absolutely recommend Ema's Housekeeping. I will definitely be booking with them again.

We hired this cleaning company because we urgently needed our house cleaned for rental showings…read more They offered same-day availability, which was the main reason we chose them. They charged us $300 for a 1,509 sq ft house -- despite the fact that the home had brand-new blinds, brand-new flooring in all three bedrooms, and no refrigerator to clean. This was absolutely not a discounted or bargain price. Before hiring them, they specifically promised they would come back and address anything my realtor found unsatisfactory after the cleaning. Based on that promise, I paid them in full immediately after the service. A few days later, my realtor inspected the property and found the cleaning quality extremely poor. She provided them with a detailed list of areas that were still dirty. One toilet was so poorly cleaned that my realtor cleaned it herself. On another toilet, instead of properly scrubbing blue staining inside the toilet, they simply suggested replacing the whole toilet altogether. That alone tells you the level of effort they put into the job. The dishwasher was still dirty. Windows, baseboards, drawers, and other surfaces were visibly dirty. There were even cobwebs still hanging on the walls. When I contacted them to come back as promised, their attitude immediately changed. They were rude, dismissive, and kept delaying scheduling. I gave them my husband's number to coordinate a return visit, and they said the earliest they could come was Saturday (nearly a week later). Then on Saturday, they suddenly claimed they would not return unless someone was physically present at the house to inspect their work. This made absolutely no sense because they already knew the property was vacant and that we were remote landlords. They had completed the original cleaning using an access code with nobody present, so this was clearly just an excuse to avoid honoring their promise. After that, they stopped answering calls from both me and my husband entirely. The house was still dirty, and we ended up paying another cleaning company to redo the entire job properly. Unprofessional, dishonest, and extremely poor-quality work. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company.
