Came here on the recommendation of our Air BnB host, who said that this was the best Turkish food that he'd had in Amsterdam (he's widely traveled). I love Turkish food and have lived and worked in Turkey, so we thought to give this place a try for dinner.
We went for dinner, and it was quite busy. They found us a table and I ordered the shish kebab (lamb skewers) with rice, and it came with a salad. It was absolutely delicious. Massive portion with beautifully cooked skewers of lamb, well-seasoned rice, and fresh crisp veg on the side.
Restaurant itself has a good (attentive and polite but hands-off) staff, is clean, well-lit, good atmosphere: family friendly and good for casual dining or laid-back date night. We have since moved to Amsterdam and I will without a doubt be back. There is also an outdoor/smoking dining area. read more
