He was in his phone more than assisting. We were only allowed one paint color per person at a time. I'm sure this is probably to avoid waste, and accidents since space was very limited at the stations. I do think it's a bit pricey for what you get. The Mat is very rough and pieces of it are all over my car just from the drive home. I'm not sure how long it will last but it's rather small for $50. Overall I loved the experience and we had a great time!

It ended up being just our family for the event and instead of just cancelling, Mrs. Elizabeth gave our kids a private painting session and was so supportive and kept asking to hear stories about our fur kid! We were painting two separate painting that came together In the end. The class started a bit late but the instructor wasn't that great. She did walk us through what we needed to do- previous classes ive had the instructors would fix your painting if they needed to. The teacher sometimes did not tell us the next step for ex- she was painting in the front but didn't tell us what to do exactly. After the payment was made, a zoom link was shared by the studio owner. There was no limit on the minimum number of guests required. The session was divided into two parts. In the introductory round Sarah introduced colors and various medium. After 45 minutes the participants were given a timed break. She used this break towards virtual cake cutting and other fun stuff. Though it is not easy to teach kids virtually. Sarah was able to engage them for two hours. She is a great instructor and very knowledgeable. As far as the pricing is concerned, I would say it is towards a higher end. She charges $50 / participant for the virtual session. This includes the material cost. The materials can be collected from her studio, or can be delivered at minimal price. In my opinion $50 / participant is total value for money. This session is not comparable to the regular art & craft theme birthday party. Sarah helped the kids in learning a new skill. She gave mini breaks when the kids were getting confused. She ensured that so no one gets behind and patiently answered all their questions. Each child was able to create something unique at the end of the session. I loved this experience.
