She was outstanding especially when giving us patience and guidance through throwing clay for our very first time. The environment felt lived in and cozy which really allowed us to breathe and continue to learn which made the class very rewarding throughout. I highly recommend her and this business to those wanting to try pottery without worrying about the necessary mess. We will come back in the future.

After being a member of Fire Gallery for approximately 1 year, I decided to leave and feel it is…read moreimportant to share my personal experience. During my time there, the owner, Leroy, regularly made sexually inappropriate comments during classes and open studio hours. Statements such as "lubrication is essential" and "saddle up and ride it like you'd ride your wife" were said openly, including during classes where minors were present. These remarks occurred repeatedly and made me increasingly uncomfortable. On one occasion, Leroy patted me on the butt. That incident is what ultimately prompted me to speak with him, as I felt a clear boundary had been crossed. Prior to that, I began coming to the studio very early in the morning around 6:00 a.m. Specifically to avoid interactions with him, since he typically did not arrive until late morning. During this time, a younger member confided in me that she felt uncomfortable due to repeated sexual comments made toward her. She told me that after she raised her concerns directly, she was removed from the studio shortly afterward. Hearing this further confirmed my decision to speak up. When I raised my concerns about the repeated sexual comments and the physical contact, Leroy accused me of taking an apron from the studio and told me to pack up my things and leave. "Can you say deflection" LOL!!! About a week prior, I had told him I planned to have an apron copied by a seamstress, and he suggested making ten. I did take the apron to explore this, but ultimately decided not to proceed after being advised that it would not be practical or cost-effective. The apron was in my car and was immediately returned. I also developed concerns about cleanliness and health. The studio was consistently dusty, including in glazing areas. Cleanliness is critical in a ceramics studio, as many glaze materials and fine dust particles can be hazardous when inhaled over time. I later learned that prolonged exposure to silica dust can be dangerous and that proper safety practices, ventilation, and education are important. These were not explained to me during my time there. If you are considering spending your money here, I strongly recommend looking at other studios as well. While they may be more expensive, they may also offer a cleaner, healthier, and more professional environment. I am sharing this review based solely on my own experience and what I personally witnessed so others can decide whether this studio is right for them. I am much happier at my new studio, which is clean, professional, and an environment where I feel comfortable and respected.

They did provide cups but we were not aware we needed to bring ice. There were about 20-25 Mat options to choose from with a variety of cute, funny, to more bold sayings. Once selected we were sent back to our stations (5 to a section) for further instruction. The employee on our side was a little rude to some of the other guests. He was in his phone more than assisting. We were only allowed one paint color per person at a time. I'm sure this is probably to avoid waste, and accidents since space was very limited at the stations. I do think it's a bit pricey for what you get. The Mat is very rough and pieces of it are all over my car just from the drive home. I'm not sure how long it will last but it's rather small for $50. Overall I loved the experience and we had a great time!

Kiky Mats Valentine's Experience - 5 Stars!…read more We had an amazing time at Kiky Mats celebrating Valentine's Day in style! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were for the culture--warm, welcoming, and full of great energy. The hosts were attentive, engaging, and straight-up lit, making sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. They set the tone right by greeting us with champagne, and from there, it was nothing but good music, good people, and creativity flowing. Designing our own custom doormats was such a unique and fun experience, and the team at Kiky Mats made the process easy and enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a date night idea or just something different to do, I highly recommend checking them out. 10/10 experience!

We made a reservation for five people, but two canceled the night before and only three total showed up. Hawaii Fluid Art welcomed the three of us without any pushback for the two that didn't show up. I appreciated the great customer service and flexibility/understanding. The colors, energy, and vibe inside of the studio is amazing! You walk in and you just feel so elevated! There were various different shapes and sizes of charcuterie boards to select from which was fun! I wasn't expecting there to be a butterfly and I totally chose it! Victor was EXTREMELY patient with us as we selected our colors and art style. He made recommendations based on which pieces of the hanging art we liked to assist us with the color selection process and made recommendations of what colors might work well together and which colors to select in matte versus metallic. The one thing that I didn't realize about the charcuterie board class, is that the only part you get to participate in as a customer, is the paint part. The store staff do all the resin on your behalf two days later, after the paint dries. We were interested in a resin class, so when we found this out, we were disappointed that we didn't get to use the resin ourselves. I think it would also be helpful to have a tutorial on how to pour the paint into the cup layer by layer to achieve the design that you want on your item. For example, I was going for more of a sunset vibe, so I probably could've poured more paint into my cup for each layer. And because my board surface area was a little bit smaller, I did not end up using all the paint in my cup. I originally poured the paint into my cup in layers in color order of a sunset but was instructed to pour the paint layers more randomly so the second half of my layers in the cup, we're not in sunset color order. So, because I didn't end up using all the paint, I got only the random colors on my board instead of the sunset colors at the beginning/in the bottom of the cup :( Overall, I love the idea of this class and the classroom setting and Victor! Communication and structure in the form of instructional guidance at the beginning of the class would be greatly beneficial to ensure that everybody understands what they're doing and leaves loving their design!

She emphasized to me that the chairs were cracked and to be very careful with them. Even going as far as to ask me if I preferred for her to switch out a sturdier chair for me. Ok, I am not a thin person, but certainly she has seen other people that are big in her lifetime. There was another big person at the class, but she only warned me about her cracked chairs. The vessels for the terrariums were really extra small. I managed to get the only normal sized bowl. My sister had to get a tiny one. For $40 the vessels should have been bigger. Or allow you to make two. Brittany asked everyone what was the first step to put together a terrarium and I said the rocks. She said no, it is the sand. The brochure she handed out at the end of the night also said to start with a base of rocks. If you want to have customers, be prepared to have all shapes, sizes and colors. If you are not open to that, do not expect return customers. I love this kind of stuff but I will not be back. Can't stop thinking how she made me feel like I was so huge, her chairs would break. I attached a photo of the tiny terrarium my sister made for $40

We drove an hour in the rain to get there and 30 minutes before it started they sent me a cancelation notice. They said they had booked a large group and forgot about it.
