The staff is knowledgable, and they make you feel comfortable even if you are feeling any level of distress. The building is clean. There are many choices for jewelry and the prices are fair. Over the years - i have taken my son there to get his ears pierced. For myself, i have had my tongue pierced a couple of different times and my nose pierced a few different times. Different phases of life and taking piercings in and out is why the several times. I went to another place in town one time for a belly button piercing and ended up with a massive infection. That was the only time i dealt with infection from piercings and it was pretty horrible. I have never had that issue with any of my Tribal Rites piercings. All of my experiences have been positive there and if i decide to go back in the future to get my nose once again re-pierced it will be there!

Their apprentice Zaira has started creating some wonderful work and I've had the pleasure of being able to get 2 pieces done by her and I'm in absolute awe! She does amazing too!! Kaylie's partner Savannah is also an incredible artist, I havnt had the joys of being inked by her yet, but she did do my tongue piercing. I give Savannah major props as that was my 3rd time getting a basic tongue piercing, she did absolutely amazing and it was done correctly in every single way and it healed perfectly! These ladies have worked so hard to make their shop as convenient and accessible to anyone and everyone! I'm a single mom and have had to bring my kiddos to an appointment and they are amazing. Savannah actually didn't have a client and sat and colored with my daughter. I've never felt any judgment or disrespect, all I have ever felt from the artists has been nothing but love and support! I've been getting ALL of my tattoo and piercing needs through MadCap Ink for almost a year now and I can't wait to continue to go back for many more years!

I got a sticker sleeve done here and it looked great for the first few days but by 1 week they were…read morecompletely faded and lines were missing. I went back in to get it redone and the artist made up new lines so I have faded lines under the newer ones, it does not look good. Sections of the redone lines are now fading. I spent $400 on tattoos that are fading for the second time. Some lines are not straight and look bad. I'm going to have to get them all redone by another artist. I sent multiple friends to this artist before the tattoos faded and every single one of theirs has faded or is completely gone now. They were a little rude and couldn't hold a single conversation the entire 5+ hours of being tattooed. Save yourself the time and money and go to a different artist.

I got my conch pierced here a few days ago by the owner, Jon, and had a bad experience. I've had…read moreother piercings before (at other shops), and this level of pain and swelling following the piercing was not normal for me. At first, he tried to use a hoop/horseshoe, which I knew wasn't appropriate for a healing conch, so I declined. I then asked about using a 16g, but he told me an 18g was fine. He used a regular 18g earring with a butterfly back. He didn't have flat-back jewelry and I was told swelling wouldn't be an issue. By the second day, I had significant pain and swelling. The jewelry was pressing into my ear, and the back was rubbing against my neck, causing irritation. While out of town, I saw another piercer who immediately said the jewelry was inappropriate--it was too short, not meant for a conch piercing, and the angle from the back was incorrect, which was likely causing the pain. She also noted bruising and told me it needed to be removed right away. She explained 16g jewelry should have been used. After further research following the piercing, I also learned that 18g jewelry in a conch has a higher chance of migration, which I wasn't aware of beforehand. I went back to request a refund but was refused. They offered to redo it or move forward with another piercing, but I wasn't comfortable moving forward with him after this experience. I would not recommend this place and suggest doing thorough research before getting pierced here.

You feel it the second you walk in -- it's clean, calm, and has this creative energy that instantly puts you at ease. Everyone there treats their craft seriously but keeps the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. I worked with Meg, who's amazing. She's talented, patient, and really takes the time to get it right. She listened to what I wanted, offered thoughtful input, and executed it perfectly. But honestly, every artist I met there was just as kind, skilled, and down-to-earth. You can tell they all support each other and care about every person who walks through the door. Satori sets the bar for what a tattoo studio should be -- great people, great work, and zero ego.

The issue was with Nate, another artist, that Toby brought down for some advice. I wasn't loving the design and was met with hostility and a cocky attitude by Nate. "I think Toby made a great design and you should just go with it". I responded with "it's on my body forever, so I want to like it" and he became super pushy. All the designs I suggested were shot down and he kept saying I needed something bigger with thick lines- despite me being clear that is not what I wanted. Toby did a great job with the cover up, but I found out AFTER the session that this was his first time covering a tattoo. I would have appreciated more transparency. Over all- Toby was great to work with, but Nate put a damper on things with his attitude.

It may not be your fault but you're not going to fix the issue and hold your artists accountable for their mess ups AND blame the customer because they didn't come straight back? Sir, the reaction you gave me was why it took me so long to come back. You just proved me right in the sense that no matter what y'all did, I'm wrong. I'll be sure to spread the message across everywhere I can review this. "That's not my fault" is the last thing you say to someone giving you money for a service.

Didn't take the time to even look at what was the issue or ask why did it or even made sure my piercing was done there. I was met with ignorance and unprofessionalism. To not even take any responsibility for the shops actions and take accountability for a mistake that was done is extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. I recommend going elsewhere for ANY tattoos or piercing. If they mess up it's never their fault and they'll try to blame everything on the customer.
