Navigating the neighborhood in the snow with dozens of similarly-designed condos and no outside signage at all made it... interesting. The surprise came with the location - from booking I knew it would be in someone's home, but you literally get waxed in the middle of her dining/living room. She stated she lives alone, but it's quite odd to be in the middle of someone's living space with no curtains or doors for privacy when changing (or someone else was home - I wouldn't know). Very strange. For the same price, someone else can offer waxing from a clean business storefront with a private room. The wax itself was fine - not the most painful I've ever gotten and not the least painful, either. She uses a different kind of material to pull up the wax which I didn't feel strongly about, but it did seem to have a habit of being hard to pull up around the edges. STAY AWAY!!! I originally wrote a review on google reviews for this business. THEY DELETED IT! my review is an honest kind one. I am reposting it here. I also responded to the owner on my original review since it wouldn't let me respond with a new comment. These people only keep the good reviews on google beware!!!! The owner accused me of being rude when canceling an appointment since I had to go to my chemo treatment. I obviously didn't share this because it's personal but since they decided to lie and say I was angry and cancelled well there you have it! :/ Every person who works here unfortunately has the "mean girls" attitude and look. My stylist for my eyelash extensions was labeled a "senior" with her skills, she put a lot of pressure on my eyelids when grabbing each lash on the table next to her- it hurt. I requested the cat eye style. I walked out with the exact opposite, all were short and I couldn't tell I was even wearing eyelash extensions.. $120 wasted! I've been getting eyelash extensions for four years now and have gone to three separate places. This was by far the worst. My last complaint is that they will double charge you if you don't have a relash done within 3 weeks. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for an eyelash extension establishment. RESPONSE TO OWNER: I called to cancel my appointment because my doctors appointment was around the same time....I was extremely kind and understanding. In no way was I upset or rude. I never said I wouldn't come back because of cancelation fees. Please tell me when and where i was upset? I simply said I am no longer in use of your services and never stated why. Please do not make up things! Thank you! I am flabbergasted you are accusing me of being upset... I have attached a sheet from you when I signed up for your services. It clearly states you will be charged extra if not for a full set if you pass the 2-3 week mark without coming in for refills. (See the document you gave me). The $25 dollar fee for my one hour appointment cancelation should cover your stylists pay and more for the work she does for the hour. I never received a "satisfaction guaranteed card". I was never even informed that existed. I understand you are only trying to defend your company and employees to not lose possible business/go out of business.. I am only talking about my experience at your establishment. I lose all hope in this place after you said "I was upset and angry"..I am always soft spoken and kind to all humans. Do not make up stuff to make your company sound good! Thanks- best of luck with your business and endeavors It will not let me attach a photo unfortunately. Here is the exact statement on my document. " I understand that my first relash appointment may be necessary as soon as 2 to 3 weeks after the application and that there may be additional fees if I go past the 2 to 3 week mark or be charged a full set price." read more

I typically don't write reviews but wink really does deserve more recognition. They are an amazing small business. I've been getting my lashes done there over a year with nothing but good things to say. JEN is the absolute best she has such a great lash retention because her application is superb and she's the funniest sweetest person ever! My sister sees PAOLA there and raves about her a+ personality and catered experience. They are supppper accommodating when we want to book together or have to reschedule. Getting your lashes done at wink is different because they customize their lashes to fit your eyes/shape for a unique fit. After your first set they'll do a quick consult to see if any changes need to be made to fit your eyes better and tweaks to possibly have a longer life span. Also their space is genuinely relaxing and so cuteeeee. read more

Love Wink! Quinn and her staff are incredibly sweet and the salon is super clean. No one has ever pushed any service on me. Had my whole face waxed there. If you ever get get your brows or lip or sideburns waxed you know sometime the wax smells really bad (yuck). They must change it often because you don't leave smelling like who knows what. Also I've had my skin pulled off my eyelid because the wax was so hot. Wink's wax is warm. No burning hot wax! I love the decor. What a pleasant atmosphere. Love, love, LOVE this place! Their customer service alone deserves five stars. They managed not only to fit me in last minute but also to honor a special I had heard about through someone else. I went here because I saw an amazing deal of the month so I ended up getting a lash lift, lash tint, and brow tint, the offer also included a brow wax all for the price of $90, which is such a great deal. Anyway, I had a super sweet stylist today, her name was Macie, she had walked me through all the steps as she was working and did such a good job. If you're on the fence about trying eyelash extensions because of the cost, maintenance, or if they won't look right on you READ THIS because I was too. It sounds silly but these eyelash extensions have changed my life in unexpected ways. Small ways but have had a huge impact on my mood, energy, confidence, and more! They've literally erased so much of my stress and mental load and freed up so much of my time. I'm not late for work bc my makeup took too long trying to perfect it. I don't get annoyed in the mornings because I can't get my mascara and my eyelashes to like each other. I'm not even putting makeup on anymore because the eyelashes do so much I don't feel like I need anything else. So I'm not sleeping in makeup anymore. My breakouts stopped. They always look the same and symmetrical (damn near impossible with mascara). The perfectionist in me is very satisfied. Im always ready and confident for a picture and don't spend any time worrying about how I look or spend time feeling ick about the way I look in a photo. And on top of that they just look SO GOOD. I literally wake up and just live my life. They're stupid easy to maintain and they stay put very well and for a long time considering your natural eyelashes are growing and replacing themselves constantly. I got my first set done with Kaylee the week before I went to a 4 day camping music festival. I was so worried they'd all fall out before the festival and I'd look silly but they stayed flawless and only had a few fall out due to eyelash growth. I told kaylee I wanted a classic set and for it to still look natural and she DELIVEREDDDD. And now I'm an eyelash girly and I'm never going back. If you struggle with ADHD, depression, a busy schedule, confidence, or human existence in general, DO IT. GET THE LASHES. I was worried about the cost and the maintenance but the price is so worth all the collateral benefit it's brought forth. It's so much more than just eyelashes. It's brought simplicity to my life.
