The sushi rolls taste fresh - I had two raw salmon rolls, one with black and one with brown rice, and a fresh vegetable roll. I really appreciated the black and brown rice options here. Black rice is an especially unusual twist, and brown rice is a nice healthy alternative. The rice is really well cooked. Most places overcook their brown rice, but theirs is quite firm with a beautiful nutty flavor. Unfortunately, all of their rolls have mayo hidden on the inside. To me this was a very unpleasant surprise. I prefer my sushi without mayonnaise, and it is quite strange to put it inside a fresh salmon roll as the default premade option. While I didn't like it, mayonnaise lovers will likely appreciate it.
