First visit, possibly because it is set back from the road, behind another business. We stopped in for a midafternoon snack, had a dumpling combo and carrot ginger salad. The salad dressing was phenomenal. The dumplings were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend, we'll be back! read more

Had a really nice dinner here -- good food, very nice and attentive service and great outdoor seating. We enjoyed everything we got: dumpling sampler, chicken yakitori, ginger salad and three sushi rolls. The yakitori was the standout and I'm not even a huge chicken person. It was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Two of our rolls had shrimp tempura and I do wish they had more crunch. The apps overshadowed the sushi which I didn't love. I will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu though! read more

Amazing sushi ( the guy behind the bar is truly a Master sushi chef) plus the atmosphere inside- and- out, with the beautiful woodland panoramic deck & friendly staff, is outstandingly cool! A great dinner always . read more

Amazing food. Amazing service. Our family of 5 gives it a 10/10 every time! It's our go to for sushi anytime.

The menu is small and the venue is small too. Service is very friendly and attentive. The sushi was great! Presentation was great too. They make a unique roll of the month. A lot of their rolls had shrimp tempura which is odd but there is a decent amount of variety. Just in case anyone gets lost, you have to cross the covered bridge and drive up the hill to find their parking lot. read more

Koi Sushi Bar - a plate of food on a table - Sushi Bars Near Me - Skippack, Pennsylvania

Made a reservation early today for Valentines Day. The person taking the reservation said nothing about a special menú. After driving half an hour to the restaurant, the host informed us it was a special 5 course menú for Valentines Day. Well, one of us is vegetarían and there were no vegetarían options on the menú. I asked if something could be prepared for us and was told no. This was their mistake for not informing us and still they would not accommodate us. I'll be looking for a new sushi spot. read more

Yummy I love this place. Great Sushi and kind staff and I love looking at the fish. Great fancy interior. Definitely my favorite Sushi Restraunt. read more

Sushi was good. We thought the rolls had too much rice, not enough fish, and the buns could have used more meat. Prices were a little high but quality/taste was good. read more

What a hidden treasure!! Loved the ambience, very romantic. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The wait staff and servers are efficient. The food was amazing and the freshness of our tuna, impeccable! read more

It claimed to be open and had workers inside. Completely ignored me and the door was shut. There was a guy outside and was also ignoring us.

So glad I found koi sushi! My favorite part was how friendly the owner and staff were. Felt very cozy and the food was DELICIOUS! read more

Koi Sushi Bar - Mt. Fuji Roll and Rock and Roll - Sushi Bars Near Me - Skippack, Pennsylvania

WOW WOW WOW is all I can say! This place is phenomenal!!!!!!!! My roll was the special, the pink flamingo it was called! It was absolutely orgasmic. The staff/owner are the nicest people. We had a table of like 13, it's our book club and they accommodated us with such enthusiasm, it was just a wonderful experience! The scenery outside is gorgeous and I love the covered bridge you drive through to get there! If I could give it 10 stars I would! read more

Not a fan of this place and I had higher hopes. Food was okay. We got the seaweed salad and it was over cooked and dry. They write vegan on the menu for the vegan dragon sushi roll but they actually cook the sweet potato in the same oil as their seafood and meats. That's very inconsiderate!!! The best thing I ate was the sushi roll I customized. The watermelon martini tasted like a jolly rancher which I didn't mind and the cosmo was pretty good. The service was awkward and all over the place. Not a fan at all. From the beginning, things felt off and kind of frazzled. It did not get better. The ambiance was nice. Outdoor seating was relaxing. read more

Koi does not disappoint always hits the spot. Fresh sushi with elevated favor profiles. Highly recommend

Sushi was delicious, had the wife's bday dinner here with the kids. Everyone left happy. There is an interesting selection of non-sushi items as well so there should be something for everyone to eat. Service was friendly. read more

The food was ok. Very rice forward on the sushi & out of the bottle for the teriyaki meat. The ginger dressing might've been homemade but we have tasted better. Service was good & the place was clean. I would not go back or recommend the place. read more

Koi Sushi Bar - a variety of sushi on a cutting board - Sushi Bars Near Me - Skippack, Pennsylvania

Randomly searched for a sushi spot and found Koi. Seemed nice so my wife, daughter, and I went and checked it out. It's in the beautiful part of Skippack and nestled up a small hill surrounded by trees. This made for a very nice and cute place, great for date night or a place to just relax. Service was nice and felt more like a 4 star dining experience while still managing to feel a bit casual. The outdoor seating is definitely the way to go. Finally, the food. All I can say is try everything. We could only eat soo much but wish we could try more. Everything gets a 10/10. We will be making a serious effort to come back again read more

Have not been there but was interested tonight. However no online presence at all. Tried to view menu or website and can not find. Had to pass due to these factors. Hope this feedback helps. read more

Dumplings were great! Waiter was really sweet. Will go back for outdoor dining when the weather warms up.

One of the best sushi places around! The sushi chef will make the most creative food art with the wasabi! The wait staff is always friendly! If you order more then three rolls they will put it in a beautiful boat! Looking forward to dinning in but extremely happy they are now open for take out! read more

Good sushi. Friendly servers. Nice atmosphere outside. Would reccomend for a nice family dinner or date night.

We were walking around Skippack on a sunny and unusually warm Sunday in February trying to decide where to grab lunch. We are foodies and most of the places we have eaten in Skipppack are good but none are memorable or worth a 25 minute car ride just for the restaurant....until now. Koi Sushi Bar was excellent. We tried a variety of things including the sushi salmon tacos, a specialty sushi roll, Asian meatballs, Kani salad, and spicy Korean Ramen. Everything we tried was delicious and we overhead a party of 3 sitting next to us raving about their food as well. Sushi, Asian tapas, and creativity make this place a true destination. The decor isn't going to win any prizes but the exterior is cool and the setting on a small hill is very nice. It's worth the trip to Skippack as a destination restaurant. read more

Koi Sushi Bar - Sushi Bars Near Me - Skippack, Pennsylvania

Had an enjoyable experience at Koi for our first visit. Our waiter was attentive and considerate. The food was toothsome but the portion size of the entrees was underwhelming. The decor was clean and appropriate for the genre of eatery. My only complaint, when in a finer dining establishment, I DO NOT want to hear Missy Elliot and Michael Jackson when I'm dining in a JAPANESE restaurant!! It didn't fit the ambiance, clientele, and, it was loud to the point of being an annoyance. Otherwise, an enjoyable meal. Might give it a second try..... read more

The sushi was excellent but do yourself a favor and get an order of crispy pork buns!

We had the volcano roll, teriyaki chicken bowl and the ginger salad and it was all delicious! The waiter was excellent and the remodeling looks great! We will be back soon! PS: the hours are 4:30-9pm! read more
