Additionally, I was impressed with the bi-level​ deck that had easy access stairs on either side of the second level that offered and an unencumbered​​d view of DTLA and LA in general. The was a comfortable sofa area with fire pits that offered warmth to those attending and added a bit of flair to the overall look of the environment. Chairs and tables with conveniently​ on both levels to make the most of the leisurely​ vibe created by Straight Designs​s. It was visually stimulating and inviting at the same time. There were a number of hero pieces that caught my attention​, like the white hanging chairs and a red ottoman that offered a place to take a moment off of one's feet were​ beautifully designed piece of furniture. Straight​ Design's approach made the rooftop space more flexible​ and customizable​ for different experiences for different events. The string of lights overhead filled the night with ​warm and unobtrusive​​ lighting that made mingling and conversations more inviting. The lighting was fantastic as well! The sound-activated lights worked perfectly with the music and added so much energy and ambience to the dance floor. They also looked amazing in our photos and videos. Beyond the final result, Jack was wonderful to work with. He was easy to communicate with, flexible with our needs, and coordinated seamlessly with both our wedding coordinator and the venue. The first time I rented from them was 5 star. The second time was severely lacking. There was no…read moremusic in the restrooms, they were not air conditioned and they used my power instead of using their generator. It also tripped the circuit breaker in my garage and we had to manually open the door. I do recommend this company but with some guidelines: First, don't let the driver talk you into using your power because their generator is too loud. It wasn't loud the first time. If there's no AC or music, call the company and ask how to resolve the problem. Had I known we would have disconnected our power and turned on their generator. The first driver we got was amazing, the one we got this time was lacking. They were late to pick up the trailer and when I called the driver back he said he'd been released for the night and to call the owner. Luckily the problem was resolved quickly and a different driver came to pick up the trailer. Lastly, the toilet in the ladies room was leaking. I do like their service and I do recommend them but next time I know what to watch out for.
