Kohls at one time had a great selection of big and tall items. Now I can't even find the section on most visits. If you do buy something, never pay full price. Either get a coupon or it will be on sale next week. It is nice that they have Amazon returns. Returning something is fast and efficient. read more

I order my child a coat for curbside pick up my order got changed to ship to store now no one can give me a tracking number keep getting put on hold for hours at a time and no one still can tell me anything so disappointed in kohls I just want my money back or my child's coat. I used to shop this location all the time. Key phrase: used to. I initially quit shopping at this location purely because of the poor service and the extremely rude staff. Sadly, it has not changed. In fact, it's even worse! I understand that retail workers have been experiencing a lot of challenges due to covid, but the treatment I received was appalling. I went to purchase a bunch of yoga pants and the card reader wouldn't take my android pay. The manager, Kelleye, instructed me to go retrieve my debit card and try to check out again. I come back and again the reader would not take my card. This manager then had the audacity to ask me if this was my card and to prove it. Are you kidding me?! So I presented her with my license and proved the card did indeed belong to me. She then said that it must be an issue with my card or bank, even though I had used it earlier in the day. This lady then asked me to get back in line behind 15 people and try getting checked out again at a different register. Are.you.kidding.me?! When I declined she gave me such an attitude that I honestly thought I was talking to a 12 yr old. I walked out and went to the Toledo location. Walked in, got my yoga pants, checked out with zero issues and went in with my day. I will NEVER shop at this location again. Lesson learned. read more

Given its array of goods and decent prices - especially with Kohl's cash and coupons - I often find myself dropping into Kohl's when I need something. I am especially fond of the shoe section, where I have done pretty well over the years, particularly when it comes to tennis shoes. I also have bought my last few purses and hats here, and have been very happy with them. I also can do pretty well in the sock, lingerie, and kitchen ware departments, and also drop in when I need picture frames or gifts. Because I tend to do most my shopping with family who live in the area, this is the Kohl's branch that I frequent most often, and overall I've been quite happy with it. The only problem I have had recently is that there could stand to be some more "fluffing" done - my last visit, the shoes and clothing clearance sections in particular were in dire need of some attention. I did not like having to dig and dig through the shoes, trying to find what I was seeking, with the boxes all scattered and out of order. Meanwhile, in the clothing, I actually saw some people in the woman's section walk up to the racks then turn away rather than try to dig through the crowded, disorganized racks. I confess I didn't even dig as much as I might have otherwise, deterred by the disarray. Of course, to be fair, it was the end of the day and I'm sure there would be a closing-time clean-up, but adding another person or so to the floor to combat clutter before it happens might not be a bad idea. Aside from these sections, most of the store looked okay, and I had no trouble with jewelry, purses, or housewares. I honestly have mixed feelings about this store. For one thing, the organization is always pretty much on point. Its easy to find what I want or at least the section I want. . on the other hand, I dont think an employee has ever ONCE asked me if I needed help, especially not when I actually did need it. The store itself always seems clean and well cared for. My Husband states that they have the nicest and cleanest restrooms he has ever see (....thanks. . . -- _ --) but as far as customer service is concerned, I would say its lacking. read more

Customer service was atrocious. A guy not a gentleman but a guy saw that there were customers in line at the return and instead of helping us he took his sweet break. We had to wait. Then when the next lady came she gave us attitude. Not very professional if you ask me. Vinnie was the guy who didn't help customers. That's his job. read more

I've been to the other Kohl's stores in the Toledo area and I just wanted to take time to review this one because I think as far as organization, cleanliness, selection, and customer service it beats out the other Kohl's locations in the area. read more

I guess if you need a pair of pants or that Christmas sweater they have pretty good deals - as long as they are on sale and you have that 30% coupon. TERRIBLE, it was 9:50 and I just needed a white blouse for school. I had a choice between target and khol's knowing I had 10 minutes until they both closed. I CHOSE KHOL's. I got there at 9:53 with a plan to run in grab a shirt (pay) and run out. The doors were locked!!!! By the time I got over to target it was 10:02 and I didn't have a shirt. Shouldn't have the closing time written as 10 if it is not. DO NOT GO. read more

This Kohl's has awful customer service. The workers do not care about what the customers need. It's very sad to see a department store of this size handle situations poorly. I am very disappointed in the quiality and service of the store. I've been to plenty of other Kohl's that care for their customers. It is also very unorganized and always looks like a tornado went though. I can never find any clothes in the right place. The management is very rude and they always brush off situations by saying "I'm sorry we can't do anything about that". At least try to handle the situation with proper needs. I was riding through, on my way to Michigan from Georgia. I decided to stop at this store to find something nice to wear to my close cousins funeral. My feelings were eminently hurt from the time I entered the store. The customers, and disappointingly the associates, turned and looked at me almost as if to say, "how DARE a colored man enter this store! The audacity!" and growing up in the Metro Detroit area, and now the Atlanta area of Georgia, I was immediately taken aback. But I just continued to the men's department. I was having a hard time with making a decision and finding a few items, but instead of asking me do I need assistance, I was blatantly followed around store. That went on almost until I made it to check out. It was very uncomfortable. I was wondering aimlessly at this point, looking for a nearby employee to help me find a sweater I was thinking of buying. While near the front of the men's section, I heard a customer say "he better not cause any trouble" and the woman cashing her out at what I believe was the customer service register mumbled something that I'm glad I didn't hear. I could cut the unwarranted tension with a butter knife! I called my friend periodically to vent about my experience. I had anxiety when I had to walk up to the lady I heard mumble and ask her if it was possible that she could help me find a sweater that I showed her on my iPhone. She said "I can have an ASSOCIATE for the department come over and help you". I said thank you and walked back over to the men's department and waited. A surprisingly nice young woman came over and tried to assist me but had to call another woman over to help who didn't really interact with me, but helped me find a sweater I wanted to try on so I said thank you again with no response. The vibe with everyone was very awkward, even incoming customers. It was a very odd experience for me. I have never experienced this before. While being followed around I found a few things to try on, eventually settling on a simple tie, shirt, and pant. I went to checkout and the woman who was at the register was training another young lady. She checked me out without having change in her register, so I got to marinate in this toxic environment for another 5 minutes or so. I decided to talk on the phone to temporarily relieve my anxiety. Upon leaving I said have a great day to all of the associates in the front of the store. None of them responded, but stone-faced watched me walk to the door, even after spending $134 dollars on three items in their store. I was wearing a black jacket and black pants, but I greeted everyone with a relaxed and kind energy. The only thing I can think would make all of these people behave in that way was the color of my skin. I may have dark brown skin, but I had green money, and I deserved the same level of service I heard them giving the other customers. I was gonna mention how messy the sweater section was, but none of that matters. I was treated as less than and I am already going through a hard time. That was just heartbreaking to me.
