I came here recently with a friend for Black Friday and Kohl's was filled with shoppers. There are associates throughout the store that can assist you if you need help. The Black Friday deals were decent, they were similar to deals they have during the fall/winter season. I love buying sweaters/winter wear here, the quality is good and the prices on sale are reasonable. My friend and I were able to pick up a couple here as well as gifts for Christmas. Due to Kohl's being packed the dressing rooms were limited so we waited to try on clothes. I don't like that they closed down some of their dressing rooms, I hope they bring them back. It's been a few months since I shopped here, but hubby left his belt in another state. Soooo we decided to give her a try! It looks a little different now, and I knew it probably would but not this kind of different. It's mostly the whole checkout situation, reminds me of how Burlington has their counters set up. Instead of like Walmart or Kroger where you have like 10 or so different checkout counters with numbers that they light up if they're open, and you can pick a line to stand in, this location of Kohl's has one line and as the cashiers finish you go to the next available counter. It's not terrible because there were not any people in front of us. But I can imagine if there's a big crowd it could be annoying to stand in line like you have to do at the airport. I'm not complaining, it's just different and I will get used to it. We got blessed today and found a belt hubby could use on clearance! Instead of having to buy a $32 belt that wasn't his exact size, we only paid $9. Exciting! I wanted to browse the clothes but I was kind of hindered by the fact that dressing rooms are closed. Maybe next time I'll take a chance that the clothes look good or return it otherwise. No biggie, I just, again, have to get used to the way things are. Kohl's is a mainstay of discount brand clothing. I remember when I first started shopping here and how the "there's always a sale" approach really worked for me. Most of the time, I find what I need here for a reasonable price. For me those items are typically work shirts, basic sweaters or fall shirts, or graphic t-shirts. Sports branded active wear is a bit high here in my opinion (particularly Adidas). I'll go to Burlington Coat Factory and pick through the overstock for $10-$15 when I need new workout stuff. Kohl's selection of Cowboys wear is strong and priced decently as well. I wouldn't say I'm here often, only lately we have been taking advantage of the free Amazon return drop off point inside the store. Whenever we return something, the Amazon kiosk gives us a 25% off coupon we can use that day. And, not gonna lie. It makes me think, "Might as well see if they have any t-shirts". I miss the Rock N Republic brand, which Kohl's apparently does not carry anymore. But, we have always had a good service experience at this store. It's conveniently located on 377 with its own exits far enough away from the traffic light that getting out is not too difficult (not always true on 377). read more

I frequently shop here and always have a good experience. I stopped in today to make a return and to find jeans. They had a great selection of Womens jeans to try. I also was trying to find toddler 3T leggings and unfortunately this is the second time I've been there and there have been none in stock. The store is clean and well organized. I knew this place was bad. No kind of update or infrastructure improvement could convince me otherwise, but I have this place the benefit of the doubt. Boy, am I dumb... The worst part of the store is the customer service. I bought a few items because I had a coupon on the app. I also got giddy because there was a store associate passing out extra coupons. So here I am at the front check out. All the lights are on but only two workers are working. I only had 5 things, so I attempt to scoot my buggy towards the self checkout. They woman at the counter starts yelling and saying I should wait. Dude, it is taking you 7 minutes to ring up a girl with two shirt! But I wait anyways. I get called up to the lady next to her. Cold as ice. She cared more about the pimple patch on her chin than actually speaking. Wouldn't say my total, wouldn't say anything. Ugh! I give her my coupon and then I give her the store one. It didn't have a barcode. I tell them that their associate was passing them out. The rude witch next to her immediately says no! "Customers can only use one coupon. That's it!" I'm confused. She pulls out a stack of unused coupons and asks me if they were the ones. I said yes, she throws them somewhere. Really?! You could just scan them. I get my stuff and leave. Yeah, I know it's just 20% off but it was the fact that everyone had such a nasty attitude. The bathroom smells like puke, it's unorganized, the juniors clothes have food stains, and you have the audacity to be rude? No way. On a positive note, I do like their Sephora. I hate the new check out situation. Reminds me of Frys or hometown. I just hate it. So many businesses are driving away customers by having these crazy mazes. To top it off I was reading a cook book minding my own business when some crazy old guy started talking to me. The line was 20 people deep when he started freaking out about giving him 6 feet. So I gave boso 10 feet. I have to be standing behind the freak master. Some lady falls on the floor and the man pushes past her. I laughed as mr 6feet got the cash register where the woman was coughing. I don't think I will go back to this store. Too many crazy people. I am loosing sleep over nut jobs. I'm not a Kohl's fan. I rarely find anything that I like or its a bit too pricey if its not on sale. That being said - I braved the cold and the crowds on Black Friday to get a Cowboys sweatshirt for my brother-in-law's christmas gift (he loved it BTW). When me and my mom got there around 2:30 for the 3:00 opening the line was wrapped halfway around the store. Crazy? Totally. but i live 5 minutes away so i planned on crashing once it was over. While we were waiting we noticed a crowd of shopper vultures gathering around the front door (those meanies that think they can rush the door instead of waiting in line like decent people). Anyways - with all the craziness the Kohls employees really came through and even made the shopping experience pleasant. Once the store opened, they made sure that the people waiting in line were able to get in first. They had employees on hand restocking items nearly as quickly as they were snatched off displays and answered questions to bewildered customers. Did I mention that they all did this with a smile? the lines to the register were wrapped around the store but there was no shoving or mean-spiritedness. Once we hit check out the sweet lady that rang up our stuff was pleasant and efficient and even called someone to help us take our purchases to our car since we had some fairly large items we were dragging around. This was seriously the best Black Friday experience ever - oh yeah and I ended up buying about $100 worth of additional goodies besides the sweater cause they had some seriously awesome deals going on. read more

Been to this location a few times and they seem to always have exactly what we're looking for, which is promising and reassuring. The sales lady was very informative because this visit we required assistance. My daughter had lost her earrings and I was to purchase a couple pair that wouldn't be overly expensive or turn colors in her ear. We ended up purchasing about 3 pairs for her two studs and one pair of little hoops for her. Upon checking out, we didn't have any additional coupons to save more money and of course the sales rep was able to find a discount for us saving about $15. That's huge for first time parents that are still buying diapers and a busy growing baby. Every little bit helps and I'm glad this location is near us. I recently purchased a small blender from Kohl's in Keller, Texas. The box was intact. Appeared new. Wrapped the blender and sent it across the country in a birthday box. The recipient just opened the gift and it is dirty, food bits wrapped around the blade, the inside dirty and the plastic is cloudy. How embarrassing! "Thanks", Kohl's. Your "quality" is beyond words! Stacy the manager was rude when we came in and gave us dirty looks and when we left because I had some returns but wanted to buy some different sizes, she stayed with the cashier the whole time. She is very unprofessional with her demeaning voice, attitude, and looks. She probably should work in shipping. Going to start going else where. I read other comments about her and really? My wife came in yesterday and the cashier who dealt with her (who spoke very little English) tried to pressure her into signing up for a Kohl's credit card. There was some miscommunication (most likely due to English not being the cashier's first language) and my wife thought she was signing up for a rewards program. When she realized she was being asked for her social security number and that something was off, she asked the cashier, "This is for the rewards program, right?" The cashier said, "No, this is the credit card, I told you that." She went on to be extremely rude and condescending and apparently signed up my wife for the credit card anyway, despite my wife asking her to cancel. (She said, "Just making sure, you canceled right?") We got the credit card in the mail a few days later. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I've been to this Kohl's a couple of times in the last year or so and always find really great sales here. Nothing earth-shattering but there are a lot of "buy one, get one 50% off" sales in the men's department and when I'm there to buy two dress shirts for my husband it's definitely a nice surprise! This is a big store so this complaint may sound a little daft but the organization of the clothing racks and shelves is seriously lacking, especially in the men's department. There are sizes all over the place and things places haphazardly on shelves forcing you to sift through everything that's there to find the size you're looking for. I know a lot of this is due to customers ransacking the place without a care for organization but it seems like I can't ever get in and out of this Kohl's quickly... I know there's only so much chaos control employees can do in a given day, though, and since it's only a minor inconvenience I really don't have anything else negative to say. Cashiers are always friendly and I've never had an issue getting an employee's attention to ask a question. I'll definitely shop here again! read more

I got 25% coupon for moving customer offer. I needed outdoor chairs for new apartment but their selection was not variety and don't have enough stock at the store. Staffs helped us to check inventory for us and they helped us a lot.. but little bit hard to find staffs at the beginning when you need. Seems like don't have enough staffs here. read more

Awful experience at this Kohl's location, particularly with Stacy the manager. We had multiple issues with poor internet reception and unclear discounts/cash back handling on the purchase. My husband made a comment that the dollars back said no exclusion, but the checkout clerk then said because of exclusions the purchase didn't qualify didn't make sense....a true statement. After my husband walked away the manager Stacy passive aggressively said to the clerk not to let a big guy in line intimidate her in the future. Wow! I understand that with everything going on times are a little scary. If you don't want to be at work, to place an item in the trunk, or the backseat of a car, Then don't freaking go to work. I ordered perfume from here, went to pick it up, rolled down the back window like we were told to do and this older lady w/her leopard print shirt and blonde/whiteish hair just threw my bottle of perfume in the backseat with no regard of hitting my car or breaking anything else that I have in the back seat. This lady was so unprofessional. I wish I would of caught her name or seen her name tag. Just plain rude. I wanted to take a moment and mention an exceptional experience I had at this location. I had a difficult situation regarding exchanging a gift that I purchased, but was not going to be able to give. The system would not allow the clerk to return my unopened item due to it being "out of date". The clerk called for the manager. She arrived, was pleasant, patient, and listened to my issue. It is rare that you find someone during such a hectic time to just take the time to hear the customers. This is why I shop in stores and not online. She saved part of my Christmas. I come to find out that she was the store manager and her name was Stacy. I am a customer for life, and will always look for her if I have an issue. Great store! read more

Stacy and Tracy are two of THE worst managers I have ever encountered. I normally am greeted warmly at the return counter usually by Colleen. (Colleen has such a gentle nature about her. Very kind and thoughtful.) Well, this time I was greeted by Lauren. I had several returns with several different receipts. Immediately I could tell that Lauren was irritated with me. Seemed as if she was overwhelmed with my receipts and didn't have the training to look things up in the system in a timely manner. I was patient. (Overall, my time spent there at returns was 1+ hour. You read it right. Over an hour!) I will preface this by saying one of my items had been in my drawer a long time according to the receipt. I didn't realize how old it was. So, Lauren takes this item and puts it to the side. There was another lady working behind the counter and I was told her name, but I cannot recall it for the life of me. She took the item, threw it up in the air in front of me and other customers and says, "You gotta be kidding me! You took this back?" I was horrified and I could tell Lauren was. The lady (heavy, long hair, glasses, husky voice) wanted to continue making a spectacle of herself. Lauren had to walk up to her and tell her I was the one wanting to return the item. She shut up and never looked at me again. It gets better. My bank card had been hacked into twice. So I was given a temporary bank card on which I made purchases in Kohl's with. Of course, at the time of return, I had a new permanent card. Easy peasy, right? Nope. I was told that because the numbers didn't match (remember, I had my receipts), I could opt for gift cards or Kohl's cash only. Are.You.Kidding? I told Lauren to put it back into my account. I don't need gift cards. Lauren says. "Well, if I do that then I goes back to the cards that no longer exist and then falls into what we call a secret door and no one ever sees the money again." The other option given to me was a corporate payment. It was explained to me that they would gather my info and then corporate would issue a check to me within 3-4 weeks. I said, "Okay. Let's do that then." Easy peasy, right? She then states that it may not be in the form of a check but in a gift card. I asked what the purpose of submitting all my info was just to wait for a gift card that I already stated I didn't want. Now I'm humiliated and pissed. Not a great combo. During all this I requested a manager. Stacy-short with light shoulder length hair-came to the counter. Never once did she turn her body to face me or look me in the eyes. She stayed facing Lauren and speaking to me through Lauren. Really bizarre. It was as if they never had a customer ask for the manager before. Oh, and let me also note that when I asked Lauren for the manager, she told me I wouldn't get any other response from her. Which I didn't. So I requested the name and number to the regional manger. Stacy says, "Sure. Let me go find that for you." She walks away never to be seen again. Then another manager (Tracy?) decides to approach me without greeting me or asking me or Lauren what was going on, and says, in front of customers and all, "I'm sorry, ma'am. You can't turn gift cards into cash. We just can't do that." I told her basically she had no clue what she was taking about. NONE! Then she said, "Oh. Well how can we help you?" I said they could first remove the rude employee from my view because it was not going to be pretty. They looked at me with deer in the headlights look. Just stared. I apparently was getting loud because, like a gentle little bird, Colleen flew in and saved the day!!!!! She gently told said employee to go take a break. She excused Lauren to help other customers. She took my hands and gently said, "This is going to take some time and I'm sorry. But I am going to go through these receipts with you and together we are going to make this right." So we started from scratch. One by one. (I had four or five receipts.) Within several minutes, I had most of my money back to me in cash. I had calmed down so much that when I left, I was feeling pretty good. I did, however, leave with $50 in useless gift cards. I won't go into great detail, but Greg (the boss of all above) made it right. Not right enough that I'm not going to tell all my friends and family about this horrible experience. Not right enough that Kohl's will ever see another dollar from me. But right enough for me to be satisfied with the eventual outcome and not have high blood pressure every time I see a Kohl's store in the future. And, for the record, Colleen did not accept my old ass return, but did it in a kind and respectful way which I appreciated and will never forget. She deserves a raise. She got done what two employees and two managers couldn't. read more

Can't use zero stars is the only reason for one. I was told they needed my drivers license to finish my transaction. I told them they could see it but they were not going to enter my DL anywhere on their register. They treated me like a criminal and embarrassed me in front of everyone at the registers. I only use my Kohl's card to get the discounts. I drive home, go on line, and pay immediately for what I purchase. I've been shopping at that store since it was built and never have been asked for my license number. I came home and cancelled my Kohl's card. I will never do business with anyone who, as I was told, does random checks of license numbers. Rather than ask the credit department to look at my history, they said they had to have my license number. They already have my SS#. I'm not comfortable with such a shoddy operation needing more info. There is too great an opportunity for them to get hacked and someone in China ending up with way too much information. I will never even walk into a Kohl's store again. They not only lost the $150 sale today, they lost all my Christmas business for the remainder of my life. I would give a zero if I could. I went into Kohl's today for the express purpose of buying a vacuum cleaner with my 20% off coupon. I needed to spend $100 to use the coupon. I found a suitable vacuum for $99.99 and because I've shopped at Kohls for years and in fact worked there for a Christmas season one year, I know how important customer service is to them and I knew that .01 would not be the reason they would lose a sale. Boy was I wrong. What has happened to this store??? I got to the register and the cashier would not take the 20% off because the total was ONE CENT off. So I told her to keep the vacuum and congratulations because what would have been an $80 sale is now zero and more importantly, its money in Walmart's pocket over ONE CENT. Well done, Kohls, well done. We wont be back. My kids were with me and I'm actually glad, because they got a very good lesson in how not to serve a customer. They talked about it for the next 15 minutes and even at 9 and 12 thought it was completely ridiculous for them to lose the sale over a penny. So thanks for helping me teach my kids that lesson.
