Also, I continue to notice used, soiled hats hanging up due to customers changing out their hats for new ones. That's gross, and I can't imagine being that desperate to steal a $7-$12 cap. Next, I witnessed two adult men opening and using pomade and running it through their hair. Again, gross. So, a word of advice: please ensure you're purchasing products that offer a seal to ensure your product hasn't been used. Have fun bargain hunting, but use caution when purchasing certain products at Ross Dress for Less.

I only found out after contacting them to ask why items (including a bracket) were missing. At that point, I told them to cancel the backordered lights and that I wanted to return the two I had already received, since I'm not going to mix and match equipment. The customer service agent refused to process the return and sent me to their online system instead. That system then attempted to charge me a return fee. When I contacted support again, I was told it "wasn't their fault" and that I would have to pay the fee. I requested a supervisor and made it clear I would dispute the charge if they tried to bill me for their failure to disclose the backorder. Only then did their tone change. Suddenly I was a "valued customer," and they agreed to waive the fee as a so-called "one-time courtesy," while still insisting the situation was my fault because I didn't want to wait for the product to eventually come in. Bottom line: poor communication, refusal to take responsibility, and customer service that only becomes helpful when a chargeback is mentioned. We were planning to purchase several dozen more lights this year, but that business will be going to another vendor. Galls has permanently lost our business.

I'd put it at 3.5 stars (bump up to 4 stars). Em + Me still has an ever-revolving selection of cute clothes and an adorable assortment of accessories & gifts. You will always find something new here. They've also added an app so now you can shop their clothes on the app, on Facebook, or on their website. Yet. I find myself shopping here less and less. I'm just not impressed with their clothes anymore, specifically the quality of their clothes. Not only do they just never seem to fit me right, but every shirt/dress/tunic item is incredibly thin. Even the 'sweatshirts' and sweaters are thin. You need to wear at least one layer underneath (or over) their clothes. And because of this thinness, they don't last long. Some people might not mind the thin clothes, but for the prices (I don't even think they're affordable anymore), I mind. I'd like my clothes to be better quality. I will still come to look for home decor & gifts, but not so much the clothes anymore.... unless a quality item is on sale.
