Was out doing some light shopping over the weekend and decided to peep into Kohl's to see if any deals were going on. I been on the hunt for some cute Spring clothes so figured that this would be a great spot to check out. The store wasn't busy which was good. It allowed me to shop without any interruption so I grabbed my items and was ready for check out. Unfortunately, I had to stand there and wait until the cashiers decided to finish their conversations. My wait time was longer than I expected! Other than waiting and noticing an attitude with the cashier the location was clean and organized, but the customer service wasn't the best at all! No greetings from the workers, no thank you or have a good day. Again, not the best customer service by any means. read more

Easy return process for Amazon. However, the employee in the back seemed to have an attitude when scanning the QR codes as one of the codes appeared duplicated or scanned previously. The employee remarked that he worked for Kohls and if he had to rescan, he would have to rescan each of the 3 items Which he did not want to do. Spring Valley, Columbia, SC Kohl's has fallen so far. Poor customer service. Rude manager. The check out and returns are now combined. The returns are more of a concern than the buying customers. I asked the manager if she could open another line, she said the returns had to be addressed first. It was her and three other cashiers putting away returns and one cashier handing both check out and returns. The line grew to about 15 customers deep and I asked the manager if she sees the line? She begrudgingly called an associate from the back to open another register. She gave me the stank eye the entire time. Wow! If the customer service continues down this path, consider this customer gone. I have better things I can do with my time and money besides giving my business to this store whereas my business is clearly not appreciated. read more

TL;DR Not bad quality, not bad prices, but I'd rather shop elsewhere where I'm more respected. Decent selection of clothing items, we found what we needed with a little hunting (not really clear section labeling). Kohls always has tons of discounts, but that just offsets the high starting price -- evens out to "reasonable" instead of "very affordable." You feel like it's a great deal even though it's the same price as most anywhere else. But my main gripe this time was that the cashier didn't take an anti-theft tag off a coat my daughter bought. So we are walking out, the alarm goes off. SIX store associates headed to the front door. We went back to the register (we knew it was our bag, we wanted the tag taken off) and they removed the tag. But meanwhile, two other customers had been STOPPED AND SEARCHED. Even though we said "we know it was our bag that set it off" and three cashiers were watching our merchandise tag being removed. They could have let the two other customers go at any point, but they were STILL SEARCHING THEIR BAGS while my daughter and I were leaving. Kind creepy to have them treat customers who have already paid like we were all trying to steal things. Especially creepy to treat other customers in the area like THEY were trying steal things. ESPECIALLY creepy when THE CASHIER IS THE ONE WHO MESSED UP. I didn't feel like I was respected nor were the other guests in the store, and it's bizarre that multiple store associates were un-busy enough to come running when they heard the alarm go off. read more

At first I thought kohls was high price but they always have sales, markdowns and clearance. If you keep your eye on that item you want it will go on sale. The workers are friendly and helpful. I haven't had a bad experience. Now kohls online customer service that's another story. read more

I like this more than Belk. Women's shoes the wife could not find anything for sandals but I found 2 pairs of what I was looking for. Store was big and well maintained, and all the items were neatly placed. read more

I've come to this store on plenty of occasions because it is very close to where I reside and it is also a great store to shop in. I have bought things here for myself and my children. For what we like, the store is stocked in a manner to which is pleasing to me. I have purchased shoes, clothes, shades, kitchenware, and numbers of other items. What they did not have in the store, I have used the BOPUS option (Buy Online Pick Up in Store) and I didn't have any issues with this. read more

I went into this location today and was treated in such a rude manner. I was purchasing items and One of them were Mia prices. The manager was made aware of the situation and the first thing she did was approach me telling me what I would be getting and that the price was correct. The price she gave me wasn't even correct from the kohls website. She was sarcastic and lacked professional maturity. I won't be shopping with you any longer as she was chosen to lead a team of employees and needs coaching, as this is an opportunity, as well as additional training. Update: adding 2 extra stars for great clearance deals from the online selection and convenient amazon package drop off since they are open much later than ups or the post office. This was a brilliant idea since you get a Kohl's coupon when you drop off a package which of course entices you to browse. It works! Lol. Shipping from the website is fast so keep the deeper discounts coming. My teenage kid loves shopping here now for clothes since we came here for back to school shopping also. They now have a nice selection of vans and Nike so it is a one stop shop for back to school and everyday deals. I also found some tees for myself that were reasonably priced. read more

Poor selection of men's shoes and they don't even have half the sizes even if you wanted to pick a less than desirable shoe. Prices are not clearly marked on most of the items I looked at it today. Overall I like Kohl's in other cities but this one doesn't seem to be a good one to shop at for shoes. read more

Great products, slow at the register; they push the credit cards way too much!

I am very disappointed in Kohls. I went there to buy a vacuum. They were out so the clerk ordered me one online. I have not received my vacuum yet after 10 days. I called the store and was told they couldn't help me I had to call Kohl's online. I did that and they said I had to go back to the store where I purchased it. Boy talk about passing the buck!!! So now I have no idea if I will get my vacuum or a refund. If it is not resolved I will never shop there again. read more
