Duck salad
Reza J.

I like Thai food and I am picky about it. So, I was pleasantly surprised with quality and how well each dish was prepared. The duck salad was so good that I might just come back to Cancun one more time, Truly outstanding dining experience and I loved the ambiance and the service.

Wow, what a surprise in an all inclusive but this is azul gourmet all inclusive. Best Thai food I've had in a ling time. Truly authentic here in plays del carmen, riviera maya. Really great tom kha kai soup, excellent fish and almost everything we had was excellent. Service was very good also. The apps are small but soups large. The meals are good size and very pretty presentation. The desserts were delish. Usually mexican desserts are not good. These thai desserts were delish. A few things sub par but most was excellent. Try the whole fish is was spectacular.

A modern twist on traditional Thai food. Interesting choices, great staff but I've been to better.

This was my favorite stop for dinner during our whole trip to Mexico and I would buy a plane ticket back just to eat here again.

Outstanding Thai food! Mexico is very seafood-heavy, and since I'm allergic, I was delighted to…read morelearn that Saffron was located in the Banyan Tree Mayokoba hotel. Right when you sit down, they bring these chips with dipping sauces. Then each of us were given a small serving spoon of pad gra pow as another amuse bouche. I was almost full after that! We then shared the satay to start -- to be honest, that would've been sufficient as an entire meal! Three skewers of chicken, and three of beef. I don't know that I'd ever had beef satay before, but it was delicious, as was the peanut sauce. Could definitely be shared by 3 people. I ordered the pad thai with chicken, but could only take a few bites before wrapping it up to take back to our hotel. But what I had, that night and the next one, was delicious. I particularly appreciated that they were willing to make it without fish sauce for me -- some Thai restaurants pre-make their sauces so that cancels out a few dishes for me. Our server could not have been nicer -- and we loved that when we were greeted, we were given the opportunity to wash our hands with flower water. One tip I'll share -- they take spice VERY seriously! So if you're someone who likes spicy food, I'd still recommend go for the lower level. I don't remember what we had medium spicy but it was HOT -- and I like heat! Will definitely return there next time we visit Mayakoba.

Service was great and ambiance fantastic. The service was extremely kind and patient with our group…read moreof 8 rowdy people.

I'm going to give them 5 stars mostly because of the food... I had better, more attentive service at other places during my stay but the food here is unreal. Make sure you get the sushi and the potsticker. Wish I had a pic of the potstickers but I do of the sushi! I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back! See below.

The papaya was the perfect balance of lime and the added basil along with other veggies gave it a wonderful freshness and delightful taste in our mouths. The pad Thai was perfection as well. We asked for the curry to be extra spicy and they delivered. We cleared out our plates completely. The Thai food here is wonderful and I highly recommend you stop by. Prices are American but the food is worth it. Service: All the servers were friendly and very helpful. They all helped each other out, unlike some places that leave the section to the assigned server. The service provided was wonderful. They were all very attentive. Ambiance: This establishment is decorated so cute and gives you "high end" vibes. You can elect to eat inside or outside while you observe people walking by. Stop by and treat yourself, you won't regret it.

Babe's has been on my list to try for literally years, and a dinner with friends staying in the…read morearea got us there. They were open in a different location before, closed for a while, and opened again at 15th and 8, across from the Palacio Municipal. The restaurant is nice, comfortable and covered in pin up girl art. Service was friendly and our server spoke English well. The menu is mostly different Asian dishes-Thai, Vietnamese, Indian-with a couple of European options thrown in. My group all ordered appetizers to share and Asian entrees (Thai curry, curry noodles, Pad Thai), and everyone was happy. My favorite appetizer was the dumplings, but the samosas and satay were also good. My entree was red curry noodles with chicken. The regular size was a lot of food, with very tasty sauce and well cooked chicken and veggies. The grilled pineapple was a nice addition. The spice level was hot enough for me, but the addition of their house habanero sauce kicked it up nicely. The premium margaritas were also good. I would definitely go again and will enjoy the leftovers.

The menu is focused on their specialty, HOMEMADE noodles! So delicious. We ordered 4 different dishes, all were scrumptious. The friendly server made great recommendations. The pad thai was a bit more savory but tasty, it was my favorite.Ā  The garlic peanut noodles had a thick sauce and was good. The other favorite was the green curry noodles, light and flavorful! The best place to enjoy a yummy meal. We ate outdoors with a view of the Christmas decorations in the city Square and inside there was a vibrant d.j. with muted dance music, excellent vibes! Excellent service, food and ambiance.
