Excellent Kogi Grill. We are fans from their Largo location and this time a first time here. I recognize their faces here and they remember us. Great service great food, doesn't disappoint. This time we had their noodle bowl and it's a lot so we split it with half beef and half chicken. First time trying their side sauce and it's sweet with a little tiny kick and such a nice flavor addition. So good. Will be back here again. I think I like this location over the Largo location but same great service and food. Next door to MD and next to Tasty Pho. Great A/C is a super bonus and comfy and k pop music. read more

We walked in and saw a huge picture of Sungnyemun Gate in Seoul, South Korea. This was an old fortress and now a historic landmark in the middle of the city, surrounded by modern skyscrapers and traffic. They have bibimbap and bulgogi cheese fries in their fast food menu. Yeah, Korean and Mexican fusion in here. I think Kogi means meat in Korean! We ordered a Shrimp and Chicken Bowl. When I first opened the shrimp bowl, I smelled that fresh grilled shrimp aroma over fresh vegetables and hot rice. Wife reacted, that was nice aroma. Her chicken Bowl was very flavorful. She did not finish her bowl and took half portion home! But keep saying, "Try that Kogi sauce on your shrimps, have a little kick in it!" Good, nice, delicious and well done! They have spicy pork, Kogi beef bowl and more. But now we started to wonder how the tacos and burritos tasted with the Korean touch? The place is clean! Staff helpful and very quick service. I got the spicy pork bowl. Service was great and fast, but not accurate. I asked for everything except cabbage and ended up with just the meat and rice. It came out to around $14, but the taste was still great. read more

Update to my previous review: I have ordered delivery through them five or six times now, and picked up in person multiple times, too. And this happens every time: if you order extra sauce, that's the only sauce you get. If I order a bowl or a taco or something straight, without checking any of the boxes for extra sauce, the meal comes to me with sauce already on the taco or bowl, plus one or two of the small containers on the side. If I order the exact same thing and check the option for $2.50 side of sauce, then there's no sauce put on the items and no little sides of it that normally come with it. I get only the $2.50 container. So, frankly, that sucks and means the "extra" sauce that I paid for is not extra at all. This is consistent enough that I assume it must be a store policy, but it's a stingy, stupid one that makes me mad every time I order. read more

Nice little place next to MD Oriental Market in Pinellas Park. This was the very first time trying Korean bbq, so I ordered the bibimbap bowl and shrimp tacos. The tacos were absolutely amazing, very flavorful, nice jumbo juicy shrimp! 10/10 The bibimbap, I guess I expected a lot more from the dish. Grilled beef, veggies, bibimbap sauce and rice... I wanted more flavor and more sauce, maybe a brown sauce to mix with the rice?! I know I was supposed to eat it with the bibimbap sauce, but to me it was just spicy, not much flavor, wouldn't add anything to it but heat. Veggies very bland as well. 1/10 I would absolutely eat here again, because of those tacos! I'm not sure I wanna try anything else, but those shrimp tacos are to die for. The only thing this place make it stand out is the crew here are very friendly. It a good place to eat when you're on the go. The food serving is quite disappointing to say the least. A bowl of "Rice" with mixed chicken and beef. Has more portions of rice rather than the meats. The place is really clean and well maintained not too many customers are there. Only 1 customer was dining in when we got there. You're better of next Door at MD Oriental's Kitchen/Deli. Much more meat and food selection and the serving is very generous. read more

This fast food place is not fancy. The serving cuisine is Pan Asian style cuisine. It is more to Korean cuisine. The style they serve includes rice bowl, taco or burritos. We got two rice bowls. The protein we got are the spicy pork and beef. Both dishes are in sweet sauce. The meat overlay the rice and lettuce. Simple meal. Price is in mid range. Overall I feel this is good truck food. The word "Kogi" means "meat" in Korean language. So, that is what I come to Kogi Grill for... meat. Not seafood, not veg, just land animal MEAT. This is the new Pinellas Park location of Kogi Grill, located in the MD Market plaza. They took over the location of Snowflake Dessert shop. Just like their other location, their menu is very limited to various meats in burrito, tacos, bowl, or sandwich form. No frills. No sides. Just meat. My favorite items here are the tacos; beef, pork, and/or chicken. All are tasty and cooked fresh to order. If you are getting an item to go to eat the next day, which I sometimes do, then omit the lettuce because it will get soggy. I typically order 3 tacos, but I could easily eat 4. The tacos are wonderfully messy, and the house sauce is addictive. The house sauce is a sweet, creamy gochujang--- put it on everything. My only recommendation is the same as their other locations, no side dishes. Sometimes customers just want a side dish for their main meal, like; chips, rice, fries, noodles, pre-made salads, cole slaw, banchan, or sauteed vegetables. No need to get a fryer, there could be easy items that could be made on the flat top grill along with the meats, like; gamja pajeon, street corn, sauteed noodles, veg, fried rice, etc. read more

Tried out the new KOGI GRILL on Park Blvd next to MD Market today. It was delicious and a great fast-food option. I had the Bibimbap which was a base of rice loaded with veggies & meat, topped with an egg. My man had the Triple Meat and I LOVED the chicken. I'll definitely get the chicken next time as my beef was a bit chewy. Not a good option for lower carb as everything seems rice based. Overall a delicious and flavorful lunch. I got Kogi for the first time (chicken bowl) reluctantly with my bf because he wanted it and I was skeptical it would be too plain since it's just chicken and white rice. I was wrong. This stuff blew my mind. The kogi sauce is so good, the rice is cooked perfectly, and the chicken portion is bigger than the rice! This place hits the spot when looking for fast genuinely good food. The employees are nice and helpful. Restaurant is clean with seating.

As you can see, I had already made a dent in my bowl. This place has limited seating, maybe 6 tables with 4 chairs each. BUT THE FOOD IS SO AMAZING. We got the beef bowl and the triple meat bowl. And they were both so filling! The sauce they gave us on the side is addicting. Will definitely be coming back here for lunch read more

Update: I went back to try their veggie bowl but they apparently don't have veggies in at all. That was super disappointing. I was able to try the egg on top at least, which was tasty. The guy at checkout was very friendly which helped me get better impression. They still have the sign out front for the dessert shop so I was still sad not to have yummy dessert options, haha. The drink selection was pretty boring. Overall, it's tasty but no real reason to go back at this point, sadly. First off, I'm all about the BOGO for the new Pinellas Park location until the 16th! But also really appreciate the customer service. I accidentally called the owner's personal cell phone number when I was trying to place a takeout order. I guess the website I was trying to order from had the wrong number listed. Once I realized this mistake, I kind of expected the guy would be a little upset that I just interrupted his personal time and assumed he would redirect me to the correct number to call. But instead, he very calmly and patiently asked what my order was and told me it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I really appreciate that added level of customer service! My disappointments were 1) there is still signage from a dessert shop that I guess was there before. I had been falsely really excited for some dessert afterwards! Haha. And 2) they didn't have chopsticks. But I get it, they're a new place and don't always have all the materials. The menu is limited for vegetarians, but I do appreciate that they have a vegetarian option at all. For pescatarians, I was pleased they have salmon and shrimp, though was disappointed that the bowls just literally come with rice, lettuce, protein, and sauce. I must be used to other places where a bowl comes with veggies as well and so kind of had that as my expectation, potentially unfairly. The food itself was pretty tasty though. A bit spicy for my preference but there was definitely good flavor to it. I'd definitely go back and next time I'll add the bibimbap veggies and maybe an egg to try. Interesting food. Not much on atmosphere. Food was tasty but not much of it. I have been back so it wasn't bad.

Came here after spending the day at the beach with the family. Portions are huge and price very reasonable for quality food packed with flavors. I had the bibimbap and it hit the spot! The flavors were spot on and I enjoyed the different vegetable topped with an egg. Kids started with the bulgogi egg rolls and fried dumplings then had the beef bulging bowl, spicy pork and beef bulgogi bowl. Hubby had the three meats plate. Our eyes were bigger then our stomach for sure. Everything was delicious and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend their special sauce It went well with everything. Restaurant is located in a stripe mall with plenty of parking. Would definitely be back again when in the area. read more
