My 11 year old needed to have 7 teeth removed in order to proceed with his braces. Our Ortho…read moresuggested Dr. Gold and we could not be happier. I was nervous taking him there after reading some of the reviews on Yelp. That being said, I couldn't be happier with the office. I'm going to assume that they may have changed office staff because I found them to be pleasant, helpful and accomodating. Same thing for the nurses/assistants who helped us out. Dr. Gold came in and looked at my son's scans and while he did speak to me on what he saw, he also took the time to sit and speak directly to my son to let him know what to expect. I freaked out when he told me that he was going to take all 7 at once. The day of the procedure, I freaked again when I found out I wouldn't be able to be in the room during the procedure. However, when Dr. Gold came in, he immediately put my fears to rest when he assured me he would talk my son through the whole thing and keep him informed of everything he was doing. 20 mins later, I was back in the room and my son was doing great. My son told me that Dr. Gold kept talking to him through out the whole thing and made jokes. Dr. Gold even called the next day to see how my son was doing and to make sure all was good! Thank you so much to Dr. Gold and his staff for a wonderful experience!

Sad to hear they are not taking new patients. I was last there before covid. Was told today…read morebecause it was a while ago, i am a new patient and they are not accepting new patients. Dr. Li was amazing for anyone terrified of oral surgeons. I do not understand how you could be an established patient with an oral surgeons. Guessing they are all implants now, that's is where the all important dollar is.

I have always disliked going to the dentist, orthodontist, and oral surgeon. Somehow, having…read moresomeone looking at my teeth and scraping around really puts me on edge - and it doesn't help that I have super sensitive teeth! I have encountered many healthcare professionals in my life and I truly think Dr. Kleiman is one of the best. He performed a tooth extraction and implant on me - and despite having many health issues that make surgery complicated, he has successfully fixed my smile and restored my confidence as well. All the while, he continued to ensure that I was taking the correct medication and that my immunosuppressive nature would not complicate things more than needed. Finally, since I am uber curious, he spent as much time as I wanted to discuss various treatment options, going over the pros and cons of each route, and never made me feel like I was asking dumb questions or wasting his time! That is a true professional! I should note that his staff is incredibly organized and competent. They are also quick when it comes to reimbursing overpayments (due to insurance not covering up front), accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments, and the location is easy to get to (near Metropark, 27, the parkway, turnpike, and 1) with plenty of free parking.

I never liked going to dentists, like everyone else lol, but had to get a tooth pulled. I called…read morethat morning as a new patient and they fit me in for that day. Really appreciated that. The staff is very friendly and got X-rays done very fast. The procedure was very quick and painless. I REALLY APPRECIATED THAT! Even The needle gun the doctor used didn't look intimidating. I really want to Thank The Staff cause they were REALLY supportive and friendly. After the procedure I realized I wasn't feeling good (didn't drink anything since the day before) cause I was badly dehydrated. They took me care of me and made sure I got enough water until I was good to go. The only bad thing I have was the doctor forgot to give me antibiotics, so a few days later I felt bad. Thankfully he called one in and a day later I was good to go.

Wow!!! I've been through so much to get to this point. Having great dental insurance is something I…read morenever had. Now I'm in a better place. I've meet the most horrible oral surgeons in my time. Dr. Erakat is the best. He greeted me and my husband with open arms. He explained everything to me and I'm so calm. I'll be heavenly sedated so I'll need a ride home. Dr. Erakat didn't make me feel stupid and I'm eager to get my surgery over this Monday Just remember if you want to acquire about his service. Make sure that you have a PPO insurance and not a DMO.. I want to futher explain about insurance. Insurance can be an complete nightmare. Having an DMO plan leaves you to only the providers that your insurance picks. Those dental/surgeons don't always have your best interest at heart. Call your insurance company and make sure you have the best they have to offer. Edit: 1/28/19 I'm home now and my surgery went amazing. Dr. Erakat and his team stayed right by my side. He started me off with laughing gas. As I was relaxing he was telling my husband everything about after care. I remember him telling my husband I was going out and he will call me back in. Once I woke up I thought we was getting started. That's just how fast it went. Cool part is that he gave me my wisdom teeth Okay pain meds kicking in so I'll update later

I've read horror stories of other experiences post extraction so i'm very happy that I went with Dr. Ekarat for this procedure as he knows what he's doing. Dr. Torin Rutner did an implant for me early in 2025; my first implant ever (I'm 70)! He was…read moreprofessional, clearly explained the process, the number of visits and time frame until his part was completed. He answered all my questions and was personable enough that I felt I could trust him for a procedure that required skill & precision. This process involved drilling into the upper jaw ~ there is risk involved! My regular dentist requested that Dr. Rutner use a scan-able implant head; he complied, so when it was time to prepare for the permanent crown, instead of using the old school moulds, my dentist just scanned all the teeth in my mouth with a hand held device and sent it electronically to the lab who made the crown! It saved time and was much better than having one of those awful moulds used for impressions! The end result is a natural looking tooth, so I feel the quality and care was spot-on! In the end, the time frame he gave me was accurate. That is why I don't understand the poor reviews here; my experience with Dr. Rutner's office staff, technicians was excellent. The waiting room times were excellent. The longest wait time for one of my 4 appointments was 15 minutes. There was no problem with the billing. Everything was spelled out in advance, so again, I don't understand why others cited problems. I would definitely return to Dr. Rutner in the future if the need ever arises.

Dr. Rutner and a local endodontist worked together to try to bully me into an extraction and…read moreimplant. They convinced me I needed repetitive and uncovered xrays, and then told me I need surgery. I left and Rutner and his office staff HARASSED me, calling me repeatedly saying the "issue" (which was actually a botched root canal) was life threatening and needed to come out ASAP. Luckily I got a second opinion from an honest oral surgeon who sent me to someone who fixed the root canal and I never had a problem again...until I got the bill. I would avoid at all costs.
