The photos looked great and fit perfectly inside the party favor snow globes we have all the guest. The snow globe set up was super simple and the gentleman provided the upmost level of professionalism, answered all our questions, helped with last minute needs and did a great job working with the kids. Towards the end of the event, one child in particular was having a hard time, but the globe attendants helped calm him down and ensured the child got his photo taken. Great Job!

A review post rescheduled event:…read more Overall, our guests were comfortable, the sound system was good, the room was clean and airy with high ceilings and needed minimal decorations. There was room for our food and sweets tables as well as for a small dance floor which was appropriate for our intimate event with close family and friends. As an event space, the sky tower room delivered all of the things we were looking for. ---------------------- The space was clean, easy to access from the Highway, there was street side parking for our guests as long as they arrived early. The general manager Shanita(?) was there cleaning from a prior event and greeted us at the door at 2pm. It was good that we started the event later (4pm) than our reservation started (2pm) because our DJ had to work with event staff and call the owner because our DJ was having trouble connecting to the system. We followed up with staff onsite to make sure we revived the ice, serving trays, and table linens that were included in our package. We decided not to follow up about using the projector/tv screens after being brushed off when we asked for the other included amenities, but there were two large flatscreen TVs behind the sound booth. There was another event happening at the same time in the smaller room next door and we could only hear them (and assume that they could also hear us) if the front doors were open. At one point a guest from the other party clogged one of the toilets so it was shut down. The site manager was there to direct people to the right room and to shut down the room that was out of service. We started cleanup at 8 pm and we did our best to clear the space of debris that was generated by our event. The contract was very specific about prohibited activities (IE: no tape. No confetti etc) so we wanted to be sure to keep up our end of the deal especially because some of our decorative balloons popped and made a mess. The manager came in at 9pm and let us know that she would handle the rest if we got our items out of the space. We (clearly) did not have the best time negotiating the terms of the rescheduled event especially when we wanted to switch event spaces. Beautiful site. Lovely amenities.

I texted the number immediately and got a response within minutes!!! We were able to book a bartender for several hours and my aunt was beyond surprised! But it was so comforting to know that he was familiar with a majority of the music. I'll just put it out there - Elegancia Entertainment was a mixed-bag for us. Our collaboration with…read morethem started out well, but by the time our wedding was over, we were... underwhelmed. We met with them on a recommendation from my cousin.They did a great job at for him, and at the party I saw them DJ late last year. We met with the owner, Jose, and were impressed enough to book without seeing any other DJs. He innately has the elegance for which his company strives. He's a well organized, intelligent professional. We were sold on him, and his self-made photo booth. Things went a bit wonky months later when we later met the Emcee/DJ he assigned to us. You see, we had asked if he would be our Emcee, or emcee and DJ both. He said he could emcee, but there would be someone else DJing. We never confirmed with him that he was emceeing, and who we got was one of his contractors. After meeting this contractor, we saw he wasn't a great fit, but I knew I could pull together and supply enough music and provide all the cues he'd need. So we rolled with it. Our mistake. Another issue was that we thought we were hiring a 2-man team, but were told they need an extra hand, a lighting assistant. That's an extra vendor meal and extra tip, and we found out a month before the wedding. On the wedding day he missed the bride's entrance cue. I had listed out (and supplied) four different pieces of music, one each for the parents, the groomsmen, the bridesmaids and the bride. He didn't switch to the bridesmaid music when they walked out, so he thought their music was the bride's music. She wouldn't come out until our Maitre 'D rushed over to tell him to switch the music. As to the reception, things went well until the dancing started. He started our first (choreographed) dance without a cue - we rushed to be in position to start. The music during the reception was tepid - the consensus amongst the guests was that his set skewed older. He didn't read the crowd very well, and didn't really get what I was trying to convey during our meeting. There were a couple of other small matters, but the gist is that this guy didn't listen well - he suggested and defaulted to the things he had done before. He wasn't a good match for us, whereas we feel Jose would have been. Bottom line is this: We might recommend Elegancia in the future, but with these caveats. 1. Try to get Jose to emcee, or truly vet his contractors for fit. 2. Be sure to voice your concerns as soon as you have them. 3. Be very specific about your needs and wants. Maybe even micro-manage the music flow.
