Discover is an accepted form of payment. An adorable farm store featuring farm-to-table products such as eggs, yogurt, cheese, cheesecake. A variety of pantry items are also available to pair with one's fresh purchase. Support of local products is evident and appreciated. Cider and wine can be purchased to compliment cheese and crackers. Cheese can be purchased in pre-weighed rounds or by the ounce. I purchased the Queso Diablo, Basil Ladysmith and Dill cheese along with some crackers. Service was friendly. It would have been helpful choosing if samples were available.

They do have a restroom outside in the building next to their main shop which they keep very nice. There's also some sheep and pigs that the kids like to say hi to. The cheese itself is amazing and the can only be bought here since its super fresh and isn't the type that will last long enough for store shelf shipping. We tried them all and ended up taking home a lot. Mostly for gifts and to share, but also to enjoy with some of the cider they sell there. Our favorites, the dilly dilly and the queso diablo. Can't wait for the next cheese night (tonight) to dig in and indulge a little more. And this is coming from a guy that doesn't like cheeses (its my wife that likes the cheese). These are good though. I like them.

About Well Fed Farms:…read more "Ecological balance is one of the most important principals on a farm that strives to be truly sustainable. At Well Fed Farms, rotational cropping and grazing, composting, and nutrient cycling are all employed to care for the soil and water resources that support the continued productivity of the land. Well-managed, healthy land enables the production of high quality, delicious food, which provides the nourishment needed to sustain us and complete the cycle, keeping land, animals, and people all Well Fed. Well Fed Farms embodies these values. Animals are raised outdoors on pasture, where they can scratch, root, play, and forage. Their diets are completed with high quality, GMO free grain rations sourced from independently owned, local mills. Excellent feed, supplemented with abundant forage, results in delicious, nutrient-rich meat and eggs. An open, low stress environment where they are free to exercise their natural instincts results in healthy, contented animals. You can see and taste the difference." As owner of Well Fed Farms, Erik Olson has been providing organic vegetables, eggs, and pasture raised meats to Skagit Valley and beyond for many years. His new farm stand on Sam Bell Road is the cleanest, most organized farm stand I've ever seen. During farmers market season you can find his goods in Anacortes and Lake Forest Park. Keep up with Erik's current offerings and see what's on the farm stand board his Facebook page.
