I thought entire back fence needed to be replaced (bamboo panels) but my posts and headers were in good condition so only the panels and bottom pieces needed replacement. On Friday man #3 came for the definitive measurements. He said job could not be done because Andersen didn't make the size I needed. He cancelled the order. It is now 2 weeks later. Andersen has had use of my money since the Thursday when they cashed the check. BEWARE. Andersen is happy to make promises they can't keep; postdate any payment you make.

He did my roof in Kings Park and we are damn glad he did, it came out amazing and was done the right way. Tony was the only roofer who explained how he needed to remove some siding and install ice shield up the outside walls and it would take some more time to get it done. Not one other roofer even mentioned they would do this, When I asked Tony he said that's because it's the right way and we take our time to do it right. On the last day when they were almost done (2 day job)Tony did not like the look of some flashing against my brick, it was water tight but according to Tony it was not aesthetically up to his standards. Most roofers would said screw it good enough and leave but he came back the next day and completely re-did it to make it not only look 100% but function 100%. If you need a roof, siding, gutters or windows I highly recommend going with DiCostanzo his price was more Than fair for the quality of the work and attention to detail he brings to the job. We would not hesitate to use him again and we will In a few years for siding and gutters.

Our 12 year old roof was leaking. Arnie first had one of his workers come over to check the roof…read moreout. That person gave me preliminary findings and showed me pictures of problem areas on the roof. Arnie came by another day to go over the requirements of what would be needed to install a new roof, his credentials and the guarantees offered. He then provided me an estimate that night. A few days later, his workers came, tore off the old roof, put new plywood throughout the whole roof, lined the roof and then shingled it. They had almost the whole roof done in a day, but did need a little time the next morning to finish up (which Arnie previously told me might happen). The workers were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and worked hard. They left the property very clean. A few days after the new roof was installed, we had a few days of very heavy rain and the roof did great. I would highly recommend Arnie Blake for roofing. I would bet that his company's work in other areas are just as good.
