Not a great experience. I walked in with no one to be found, and lots of dying flower arrangements around me. That should have been my first sign but I was in a rush and just needed something quick. They didn't have any premade arrangements so I had to pick some flowers by the stem, which were not cheap. Each stem, regardless of the style of flower, was at least $3-5 a piece. A measly bouquet of half dying flowers was $35.....I should have just gone a little further for a better experience. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! I am not from the area and needed to send a sympathy arrangement so I chose an arrangement on Teleflora and upgraded to their "deluxe" size (pictured below). I received a call from Teleflora that the florist didn't have the orange roses so she told him to substitute with another color. I called back and was told that the shop owner (Frank) was unwilling to change the order because the flowers were already cut. She told me he added orange lilies (there are no lilies in this photo I ordered from). I tried to cancel the order just 30 mins after placing it, she told me the shop owner refused to cancel the order. Take a look at this horrid arrangement that my grieving sister in law was delivered. Does it look anything remotely close to the flowers I ordered? Additionally, I learned from Teleflora that he notified them he needed an additional $5 for the roses in the order (where are they?!?!) which Teleflora paid to him. The arrangement was supposed to come with 3 full size roses and multiple sprays of roses. Finally, Knowles' contract with Teleflora states that they are to provide the value of flowers for the price paid. They received $49.99 for this arrangement. When I called to complain, Frank told me he received $49.99 but he had to subtract $12 for delivery which left less for flowers. When I sent Teleflora the photo of what I ordered and what Frank sent me, they agreed that this is not an acceptable arrangement and certainly not $38 of Flowers or the $49.99 worth of flowers he is contracted with them to provide. They told me he was also in violation of his contract with them for subtracting the $12 delivery charge. They refunded me 50% of my money and sent me a 50% off coupon if I decide to order from Teleflora again (not likely) and said if I do order again to be sure to specify that I do not want to use Knowles again. They said there are better shops in the area. Frank also told me Teleflora falsely advertises more flowers and larger arrangements than you will receive from his flower shop. Then why participate with them, Frank??? All I did was choose a beautiful arrangement online in the middle size offered for my grieving sister in law. And she got this thrown together mess. BUYER BEWARE. Horrible product and horrible treatment by the owner. After I called and was irate, telling him his product was pathetic. He told me that I was threatening him and to take it up with Teleflora. Oh, his other suggestion fore that, was that I should tell Teleflora to issue me a cancel/refund and he would go retrieve the flowers from my grieving sister in law.... because he didn't have any flowers in his shop that would look close to this arrangement I ordered, he said he had left just a few white roses or red roses on a Friday moening... wow. Let me rip these flowers out of her grieving hands and not even replace them with something decent. Horrible customer service. STAY AWAY! Just picked up a $90 dollar rose arrangement. The "arrangement" literally had only a dozen roses and 3 green leaves for decoration. It's a Valentines Day gift and I assumed they would decorate it a bit more to impress all those lovely wives and girlfriend but No. Never going back. A big rip off for the price. I would rather go and buy 2 dozens at Costco for half the price. One would think a flower shop would make those arrangement more attractive for $90. I called for a Valentine's Day arrangement to be delivered to my friend's office. Valentine's was the following day so when I called Knowles the first thing I asked is if there was still time to order flowers and have them delivered the next day. It's Valentines' Day and I figured they'd be very busy. I was told it was fine as long as it was in town. Great! My friend's office was actually right downtown and close to the shop, so distance wouldn't be a problem. Well my friend never got her flowers. I called Knowles throughout the afternoon that day but the phone appeared to be offline as if cut off by the phone service provider. I then emailed Knowles but never received a reply back. What happened??? The next day I called Knowles and spoke to the person who helped me before. I told them that my friend didn't get her flowers. Basically I was told it was my fault I didn't mention it was a business (odd, I could almost swear I mentioned it was a legal office not to mention the location is smack in the middle of the Amherst business district). And from what I was also told, they were so overwhelmed with business that they had to shut down their phone line or something to this effect? Huh? Needless to say, I expected a refund. It's not so much the money, it's the fact that the flowers was supposed to brighten my friend's day and now the day had passed. If Knowles was overwhelmed with orders and deliveries for V Day, they should have said so. I had asked ahead of time. I could have easily made arrangements elsewhere, no big deal. If there was any problem with finding my friend's office, they could have called; they had 2 contact phone numbers. And on such a busy day, why would they shut down their phones and computers? I've worked customer service before. I know how crazy business can get and that sometimes things can go wrong, and I know how unreasonable some clientele can be. I'm not without some understanding. And I would had been okay if the person helping me would have simply apologized and offered to credit my card unless I'd like them to try to deliver the arrangement again. Instead, it's implied that I'm clearly at fault here in an overall tone that suggested that I was being argumentative and unreasonable. Seriously? TERRIBLE SERVICE! I called Knowles and they said the person had not been home when they tried to drop off the flowers. I checked back with the recipient who said she was actually home all day that day. This place is awful. They started by calling me to see if I would be home because they 'didn't want to go all the way to Northampton for nothing'. Excuse me? The woman was EXTREMELY rude. I assumed the owner would call my daughter and tell her flowers were going to be delivered to the campus center. Why else would he take her phone number? I was embarrassed to put this bouquet on my desk at work!! My husband ordered a "cotton candy" bouquet off their website because I like the color pink and spray roses. This arrangement goes for $65 and looks great on the picture, however, when I reserved it at work I was embarrassed to but it on my desk as a birthday wish from my husband. First of all, it had daisies, small carnations and 4 small, half dried out, pinkish brown roses.... It looked awful!! Even the guys in the office laughed at how cheap it looked. Lolled just like a bouquet you would see at the gas station. I called the shop and talked to the owner Frank to make sure they didn't have a mixup and what I heard was just awful!! Don't ever use this flower shop! I can't believe the lack Of professionalism and how rude the manager was to me. My husband spent over $150 to send me flowers as a surprise. However I wasn't home and a noticed was left on the door. He paid for delivery and also requested they be left even if I wasn't home. They first ignored that request and when I called to inquire they were beyond rude telling me I had to come pick up my delivery because they did not have time to re send them out. I said fine and ended up running late with appointments and knew I wouldn't make it in on time. I called to let them know I couldn't come in and ask what other options were available. They spoke to me with such disrespect and acted beyond annoyed that I asked to have them re delivered. This was suppose to be a nice gift and now it's inconveniencing me. The manager actually yelled at me on the phone and finally agreed to re deliver if I could guarantee I would be home. I said I would be and told him I was appalled he would speak to a client that way. He continued to scream and said do you want your flowers or not!
