Having worked at this facility for several years I needed to leave. This is one of the most poorly…read morerun establishments I've ever been apart of in my many years of experience in this field. the management team if you even want to call them that, are clicker than a bunch of high school kids. The look down on every behavior therapist as disposable commodities to be cast out when they are an inconvenience. They have done this to anyone who asks questions or questions their authority or reasoning and discriminated against pregnant staff as well. The owner has several lawsuits pending revolving around his mishandling of funds for their "new building" that has been promised for almost 5 years at this point. Look it up on the local Framingham news paper website. Their current location is constantly dirty, has bugs, and even mice at times have been within the building. The unsanitary conditions are astounding and shameful. While the vacations are nice following the school schedule, they use this to their advantage hiring people around then so they can skip paying them until they hit their 45 day mark. If you also decide to leave and give the courtesy of two weeks they let you go earlier and get treat you like an inconvenience. Lastly their Simmons program is a lure to get you locked in for a year an half so they can keep you their. They never hire anyone from the outside and always prompt from within to follow their cult like culture if you follow their mentality. Their home service are no different. Everything stated above goes for them as well. The archaic systems of management stifles any outside thinking for problem solving. They are loaded with middle management that are unnecessary. such as a "scheduling department" that creates the schedule for the behavior therapists rather than having the therapist reach out to the families themselves like most other agencies. Avoid both at all cost if you are looking for work or a family looking for placement for the child.

Beyond teaching the material, he shared practical strategies to approach problems and succeed on test day. I was able to improve my SAT score from 1370 to 1540, something I couldn't have imagined before working with him. His teaching style is engaging, patient, and always tailored to your needs. If you're looking for an SAT tutor who genuinely cares about your success, Chris is the one to choose!   From mom: As a mom of six, I have used many tutors, and I cannot recommend Chris at Summit enough. When my son was paired with Chris, Chris immediately contacted me to explain his approach. We had a wonderful, unrushed conversation. Chris clearly communicated with me after each meeting. My son said that Chris not only helped him drastically improve his score from a 1370 to a 1540 but also helped him understand and appreciate math. Chris is incredibly competent but also incredibly kind. My son shared that Chris was always cheerful and avoided criticism but challenged him appropriately. My son said that he was one of the best teachers that he had had. Margaret who was our contact person at Summit was incredibly helpful and supportive. I cannot praise this company enough! My son will be attending Harvard in the fall. Summit helped make his dream a reality. We will be using Summit for our next five children. Thank you Margaret and Chris!

I called to try to get a refund or at least convert the sunken cost to one on one tutoring, but they said no. The most they would do was give me a $300 credit, but I would have to pay $200 to use it. I do not recommend this place.
