Zayra and Sonya were my son's angels and they have helped my son improved so much in such a small period of time. I think of them as my son's dream team with his ABA therapy. Zayra always made my son feel loved, cared for and so patient with my son during his therapy. Even my son's teachers at day care also noticed and told me how good Zayra is to my son. Sonya's dedication to lead and guide my son's therapy and progress exceeded my expectations. She always updated me about what the plan is , how we are going to work with my son's goal and I always hear her teaching different approaches when something is not working with my son. She is definitely knowledgeable and it shows! ABS was the only company where I felt like it's not my problem if there's issue with staffing and they take consistency seriously. My son improved so much with the help of Zayra and Sonya. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because I was disappointed that they did not renew their contract with Tricare which was the reason why my son only had ABS for 3months. Hopefully they'll accept Tricare again.

I have received great support and constructive criticism from both my Program Coordinators and the BCBAs. We work together as a team to provide the best services for our clients and their families. The only real struggle I have experienced was with the HR department (outside of the Camarillo office). Getting a hold of someone or information that you need is hard to get in a timely manner. If I am lucky, it will be a few days to a week to receive a response. However, in most cases it takes multiple weeks to a month, or more! I have found the rewards of working with the kids and being a part of their learning and life story make up for the miscommunications with HR.

ABR has great relationships with the schools, Tri Counties Regional Center, and various other agencies. ABR provides ongoing training for their staff with proven behavior methods. There is also the chance for the Behavior Interventionist to receive their BCBA, as required by most insurance companies. This has created a longevity in an industry that is known to have a lot of turnover. ABR also has world class clinical directors and an awesome Business Management team. They are military friendly with insurance issues, along with working with other insurances. You will always get an honest answer. At the end of the day, I know that ABR cares about my child, and will always give their best to her. I am fortunate to have found them.

This place was working closely with my two bonus children along side biological mother for about…read morefive years. Throughout the entire five years 360 had never reached out to the biological father regarding anything not even possible changes. This year A change was made for us to have custody of the children. From the very first day I could feel they were treating us as if the situation was temporary! looks and comments made did not sit well at times, but being I am bonus mom all new to this what did I know? I will admit I have stood up to some of their unacceptable behaviors but never took it up with the higher up's. I understand after working closely with Bio mom they have built a rapport. Just recently 360 informed us they had made several attempts to reach out to Bio mom with never any luck! For what I have no idea she clearly has tapped out and is working on herself which I had made this very clear with 360. I ran into a situation where ABA was not going to be able to service the children in the home till we got some things in order. Bare in mind the notification of changing the children's household was only a six day notification which anyone with two special needs know way more time is needed especially if both new custodial parents are working full time. Long story short we got things in order for them to be able to service the children again which never happened. I reached out several times without any luck even though I was needing services badly since the children were behaving on a higher level since changes of switching homes, to non existent visits with bio mom were taking places since she was working on herself. Oxnard location is short staffed and has a hard time placing someone in the home if you are located in Moorpark, Simi Valley, or anyone in Ventura County past the Grade. We had two separate conversations take place this week. First one was where I expressed how we were being treated differently in a way they made it really noticeable they favor Bio mom and we are looking elsewhere for ABA services since I will not allow this to continue. On top of the fact I felt they were not challenging my son more and were very comfortable providing the same service every day without introducing at least one new challenge for him to administer. I went on to state a new fresh set of ABA services were needed to see how much more our son could thrive. Since our son has been with us he has gone to the bathroom in the three months we have had him in our custody, unlike the years they had him with bio mom. This statement was made to express how he is thriving more since being in our home. The second conversation I had with Brianna was where we were speaking into future existence about possibly considering homeschooling one of the two children. Even though I was sharing a bit of where I would like this to happen in the future it was not talking about in the next few weeks. Brianna and Crystal take it upon themselves to reach out to bio mom and state this is not a good idea etc. I would never pull anyone of the kids from school without speaking to both parents and getting feedback and so fourth. This is unacceptable behavioral on their part for doing what they have been doing in such a rough transitional phase. Their obligation is to service the children and help them thrive not cause issues in the home to make you feel some sort of way especially when we are trying to adjust and learn everything there is to know about support and services. They failed me in such away that I have a bad taste of ABA therapy, but will disregard them and seek a better experience with a reputable company who acts in a professional manner.

We spent months and month hoping to get just the assessment report. When I pressed the supervisor for a treatment plan, she said she would provide it on on her visit to us the first week of June, then never called and never showed up. My son was having some (improving) issues with a change in seizure medication. This was a recently diagnosed medical situation over which we had no control. It meant that therapy might progress more slowly in the next 2 weeks while medication level stabilized. However, Jackie Singer, used this an an excuse to pull out of continued therapy for him in case he developed a negative association with ABA because of his seizure medication issues. This seems like flimsy reasoning and none of his other therapists had such concerns. If you are lucky enough to be someone this company wants to treat, Congratulations! If not, you are in for a frustration-fest.
