Zayra and Sonya were my son's angels and they have helped my son improved so much in such a small period of time. I think of them as my son's dream team with his ABA therapy. Zayra always made my son feel loved, cared for and so patient with my son during his therapy. Even my son's teachers at day care also noticed and told me how good Zayra is to my son. Sonya's dedication to lead and guide my son's therapy and progress exceeded my expectations. She always updated me about what the plan is , how we are going to work with my son's goal and I always hear her teaching different approaches when something is not working with my son. She is definitely knowledgeable and it shows! ABS was the only company where I felt like it's not my problem if there's issue with staffing and they take consistency seriously. My son improved so much with the help of Zayra and Sonya. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because I was disappointed that they did not renew their contract with Tricare which was the reason why my son only had ABS for 3months. So hopefully you don't have anything important to do because god forbid this company have reliable workers or back up. Second of all, caregivers can no call no show with no reprimand. It's really hard to care for your family member, when you're so burnt out with no respite and the agency who is supposed to be helping with that doesn't run correctly. They don't post adds for caregivers, I've been asking for someone that does night shift for months, yet I've never seen one add anywhere looking for a caregiver from this agency. There wages for there employees is below competitive market average, so no one has a reason to stay for long because they look for higher paying jobs after a month or two. I have worked in staffing and caregiving, and now as a patients family. I can tell you this company isn't ran correctly at all. I wouldn't go out of my way to give them any business. Pick a better agency and make sure they have on call back up respite and someone there can run a company with a bit of staffing knowledge. Or simply the wherewithal to post a Craigslist, indeed, etc. add to hire caregivers.

ABR has great relationships with the schools, Tri Counties Regional Center, and various other agencies. ABR provides ongoing training for their staff with proven behavior methods. There is also the chance for the Behavior Interventionist to receive their BCBA, as required by most insurance companies. This has created a longevity in an industry that is known to have a lot of turnover. ABR also has world class clinical directors and an awesome Business Management team. They are military friendly with insurance issues, along with working with other insurances. You will always get an honest answer.
