The gal behind the counter was assisting a gentleman and I found myself paying close attention to the transaction. I'm a hard sell and I was sold! She was so kind and patient as he counted out change to pay. Then worked on gathering his purchase, before setting it aside again to count out a small amount of change to tip her. She was so gracious and I found my mood bumped up a notch or 12. She smiled warmly and greeted me as she rang me up. I left with my $3 in water, a spring in my step and a smile on my face. If this had been taking place in the bar area that would be more understandable as it is more an adult atmosphere, but this was in the dining area where families frequent. A few minutes went by and then a gentleman cam in and sat behind me with a young boy of about 9 or 10 years old. The f bombs and other swear words just kept coming with loud boisterous talking across the room as they were vacuuming and sweeping. All while everyone was trying to eat a peaceful meal. I don't think this is the kind of place I want to frequent anymore, nor my friends who mostly have kids. I was eating there at least once a week but now I think I'm done. The main bartender is a fucking sweetheart and the rest of them are pretty good. Ironically there was a big flash in the pan over the same fucking issue. Some chick taking order and then denying service and then putting it down as a tip. There's some fucking thieves there. I keep it real. The police came. I was upset about the thief stealing $20. No trouble from there. Love BPD and the majority of the staff.
