He talked to us about how Virginia Furniture has been a family-owned business for over 40 years. He gave us enough space to look around but also gave us all the honest info we needed to make a decision. We decided on a sofa, loveseat, chair, and a 3-piece table set for $2300. It was a great deal. Delivery was scheduled for the next weekend, and they also haul our old furniture out. I even had my pick of a free item as a thank you for our purchase. I chose a silicone oven mitt. I will be coming back in the future, next time we need furniture.

I went to a few other stores and they wouldn't help us. I went back to Brandon House and lamented to Brandon about the time I was having trying to find a the king bed frame. Brandon went out of his way and went through hoops ordering just the frame for us from the original company. It took 6 months of back and forth hassle with the manufacturer. The "Goldilocks" store…read more There are only a few furniture stores in Suffolk. I visited all of them in search of a recliner. Manual recline, leather on the touch surfaces. Was that too much to ask? Maybe. One of the "budget" stores only had cloth covered. The overstuffed cushions were a sign of ...well... I will let you decide. Nothing felt right. A second store had mostly motorized recliners. One even had a full leather cover. Unfortunately it was double my price range. Then came Brandon house. There was more than one that fit the criteria. I eventually decided on a Parker Gemini. But by now there was no rush. So I went home to compare prices with other Parker dealers, internet and retail. Brandon House tied for the lowest price. I felt like GOLDILOCKS. Just right! The color I wanted was on back order. That is a supply problem corroborated by other stores I called. My chair arrived after 8 months and it was worth the wait. We paid for the furniture including the $349.00 White glove service. We just purchased a new home and know it's going to be chaotic on moving day 3-20-26. We received a call today from Adrian or somebody stating his manager told him to call. Our furniture didn't make on the truck to be shipped, and they will not be able to deliver until Saturday 3-20-26 moving day or the day after we move 3-21-26. This is unacceptable, and its definitely not white glove service. We have no idea when the deliver will happen, they are unable to give us a window of time. We now have to hope and pray the deliver is not the same time when the movers, ADT and the cable company will be there!! Only apology, sorry for the inconvenience. Our only option is to wait or cancel the order. We spent an entire day looking for the right living room and dining room set amongst all the other things. I feel like this is not White Glove services this is poor glove service. This is why I like my role as an influencer; to go on social media websites and give a review of my experience. Let's delve into the visit. We were greeted by one of the associates the minute we walked inside. The goal was to find a 3-seater manual recliner sofa which cost less than $700. They didn't have it on the floor but we sat on a 2-seater which was the same brand and make. He tried to suggest buying another piece of furniture to go with our selection, but we said no. After everything was set and done, I decided to do a financing plan which has been set for a year with no interest. The plan was to have the sofa delivered last Saturday, but was delayed due to a trailer being unavailable. So I selected Friday morning since Sophia was home for the day. The window was for 8:15am-11:15am, but they managed to arrive at 7:55am. And I received a $100 delivery credit. Not a bad deal at all especially with paying less for your monthly bill. A win-win for both sides. Value City Furniture will definitely be a choice the next time we select furniture for a good price. Till next time :)

Going furniture shopping is similar to shopping for a car at a dealership. Personally if we need help, we will find someone. But, when people work on commission they will do what they can to make a sale including adding their own opinion and provide possible false information. Our salesman tried hard to sell us on a couch and a loveseat. We said we only need a couch and only have room for the one. VCF is known for a certain type of quality. We knew that walking in. We generally get a new couch every 5-7 years or so. We ended up finding a couch that fit our family and what we were looking for. In the end between the sale and the delivery everything was ok.

I wanted something specific for my downstairs guest restroom and I had searched high and low to find the right piece and could not find it. We just happened to be driving by the industrial cottage and because I was on the prowl for a piece of furniture I made my husband stop. When we first walked in, I knew I was in the right place. It screamed me! They had several large pieces but nothing small like what I was really looking for. I eyed this cabinet but it was much taller and I knew it would be too tall, so just when I was about to leave and throw in the towel the sweetest lady came over and asked me what I was looking for. I explained how I liked the piece but it was too tall. She said it was not a problem they could cut it down, paint it whatever I wanted, and it completely customize the piece for me. She helped me pick the most absolutely perfect color and just walked me through the entire process. I was then rang up by I am assuming the owner. He was just as nice and helpful as his mother in law. I knew the piece would be good but never expected it to be this good!! Best part was it was on sale and literally worth every penny I paid for it and more!! I cannot wait to get more pieces from them! It's like buying art and not just some piece of furniture you can get at any box store.
