My business plan and experience has always been under promise, over deliver but I made sure my horn got tooted loudly when appropriate. After looking up the specs on the furnace I received, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my new furnace exceeds my expectations. And yet none of this was mentioned by the company, prior to or after installation...c'mon guys, brag a little...I know you're good and so is Lennox but a little rah-rah-rah couldn't hurt, could it?

Other companies gave us long lead times to get the furnace fixed or replaced. Tom from Gerondale Heating came out to check our furnace that same evening. He showed me the issue and said we either needed a burner replacement or a new furnace. The old furnace was undersized and a replacement, for a little more money, gave us a proper size and a 10 year warranty. We opted for the new furnace, and Tom Jr. brought one up from Green Bay and had it completely installed and working properly by noon the next day. Excellent work Mike!…read more Mike done a few jobs for my elderly mom. He replaced her front door with a new secure one and when it came time to sell the farm he replaced the GFCI outlets in the house and a few receptacles in the attic and barn all to meet code so we could sell on time. I don't know what someone else would do, but Abner the owner came over the day after I contacted Yelp for contractors. He came out and told us after looking at our furnace that it was clean and we don't need his services! I was amazed. He then advised us by telling us he would do this and his staff as well to be honest and forthright. This is what a business should be doing. Help people, do right by people and if you do the work, which he informed us, would be done or redone until correct. I don't know what the cost would be if he had to do the work for us, but I was impressed with his words, actions and information. He returned after advising us that the furnace should be sprayed with a deterrent to prevent mold and came back to do the job for us the next day. Wonderful. 5 star quality business practice.
