I get a call saying sorry but in Texas you have a 72 hour rule. It's now 48 hours before the ceremony. My girlfriend is crying her eyes out. I'm totally embarrassed. And I get offended festival tickets, instead of $8000 value of whataburger food, a catered wedding, a venue, a band and a photographer. Yall should never be allowed to host contests, tell people they won, and then call and I'm sorry. No big deal to the radio station. It just changed my relationship forever I'm sure. Like a bad April fools joke iheart radio and the mix are.

I think these guys do a good job with playing the pop(ular) stuff and mixing in the odd 80s and 90s…read morehits. I like the fact that ads are minimal and you can expect good songs any time of the day.. I like to do late night drives and this station makes for great company when I'm driving alone. Its not the kind of music everyone's probably going to like, I am pretty sure I'll grow out of it someday too just because of how repetitive some of the songs are.. Till then, it will be the one fixed station on my car radio!

Set up your power settings for your auto radio. Go for three hours and I'll bet your keep punching your 106 button about 95% of the time in the DFW area. I like there is good running music, not a lot of self talk. The folks seem to be down to earth, I like that a lot! Looks like they are always looking out for the community! Keep up the great job folks!

It was refreshing to find a station that feels genuinely curated rather than run by some algorithm. An adult format that ranged from classics to newer tunes, which we enjoyed even if many of those new tunes were unfamiliar. For as long as we listened, no commercials and it was nice. And I see that they're "New, local and legendary music for North Texas. Commercial-free public radio." "I would Die 4 U" by Prince "Buddy Holly" by Weezer "Spooky" by Dusty Springfield "Constant Craving" by k.d. lang Fabulous tunes and if you're a grownup like me and you like good tunes, find them at 91.7. They have a whole local program that cranks out the jams. There's no real commercials on this station, just public service announcements, and underwriting announcements. The DJs are fun, and not some corporate dudes in a booth, or some AI generated voice that pipes in endless chatter. Instead, you can get a finger on the pulse of the live music scene around, and they focus on bands who are coming through and playing at venues you can visit around town. The music is much more than just some top 40 hits station, or some corporate run Belo or Clear Channel Communications stationit has the local heart and soul of the city of Dallas. If you don't like the music, give it an hour or two, and they'll have something else on later.

Stephanie, Donna and the team at the station were kind enough to give me the platform to share this importance with their listeners, and offer solutions. The location: It can be a bit difficult to find. Your GPS will take you to a shopping center with many strip malls, and this place is on the back. They don't have a sign on the billboard, but you can see CB Furniture fairly easily. It is right next door. Once inside: when you first walk in it is dark, ans looks kind of like you walked into a living room. It looks small. There is an old creeky door, and you can hear radio shows going on. You get impression that you are going to walk in a session if you open that door. You won't! Just push on in. There is a long hallway with many different room, all with doors. I would suggest that if you are going on a show, get the hosts phone number so that they can come and get you up front if you have never been. All of the staff I encountered (including the owner) were very kind. It was a great experience, and I would absolutely return, and will listen along.
