All equipment is provided, make sure to wear rubber soled shoes and flexible pants / leggings. It is pretty cold, I'd recommend a hat, gloves, and vest or coat too. Try this wonderful sport, it's a great workout as well.

I really think pretty much everyone in Minnesota should at tend at least once. They do a good job of explaining the rules so first timers know what is going on. *Five stars for being a first class organization, good for families, supportive of lots of cool community stuff (like the Anne Bancroft Foundation and Project for Pride in Living) *Five stars for showcasing quality woman athletes of all sizes. *Five stars for the live band dance party during halftime. *Five stars for $11 tickets plus kids 9 and under are FREE. *Five stars for beer. (Ok, I'm not a big beer drinker, but I fully support beer sales at any event. I just do. The rest of the concessions were just a bit above average in the pricey but tasty popcorn style) (I brought in my own water and snacks, they were checking bags but not closely.) But. BUT. And I wouldn't dare take away a star, but I'm old. And my kids are young. Could you turn down the volume just a tad so I can have a conversation that doesn't involve yelling?. And maybe start the main bout just a half hour earlier? I don't mean to nit pick, and I didn't for one second think about taking away a star.

We had 5 of us and we did the zombie apocalypse/walking dead-type experience and while it was definitely fun, we wish we would have tried something easier for our first experience. We did end up running into each other once in a while or hitting each other in the head! It was chaos to have a billion zombies coming at you and so we were kind of just spinning in circles and shooting at everything! I was a bit nervous because I am known to get vertigo but it didn't affect me in that way at all. Expect to sweat and make sure to wear closed toed shoes!!

My son wanted to go here for his 13th birthday party, so we drove with five other friends for their $250 package. They had a blast! They were outfitted with vests, full face masks, guns, and unlimited ammo for airsoft (basically plastic BBs). They were given a full safety briefing which was basically: don't take your mask off we don't want you to lose your eyes and keep the safety thing on the gun when you're off the field. They had a variety of games they played with them, capture the flag and I don't know what all. Jeff told me they would play a different game every 15 minutes for two hours. There were different fields they lead them to with different bunkers and things to hide under. Jeff stayed with them the whole time and gave them pointers and refilled their ammo. We had the field reserved from 1 to 3, but they didn't come ambling back till 3:15. The place I stayed at had a picnic table outside, picnic table inside the shelter, over the top of the picnic table outside was a military tarp, grill, heaters inside the shelter, and Porta potty's. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own hand sanitizer and I was really glad I brought a jug of water to wash hands and wash the mud off. It was very muddy, don't bring pretty shoes! My map app brought me straight to the place which is basically off a dirt road into some farm's driveway, behind their house, and you keep going until you see military transport vehicles and then just park on the grass. Don't get there early like we did because there are no bathrooms or shelter. You drive in the military transport to the middle of the woods and there they have a little shelter with the guns, masks, ammo and that's where you pay at the end. They also had some food and drinks but he didn't even offer them to our kids, maybe because we had brought our own food and drinks? Overall, highly recommended, well run place. I almost wish wish the sixth guy hadn't been able to come and I would have been forced to take his place. Next time!

Punctuated by a rocking sound track this up beat show follows (loosely) the story of Peter Pan interspersed with some very talented skiing. Show starts at 7 on summer Thursdays right on the Mississippi River with plenty of space on the river bank to spread out a blanket or set up a couple of camp chairs. Free street parking is available but you may walk a bit to the main site. Tip: best viewing is near the sound booth. Cost? Zero!! But they do take up an offering at halftime to defray some expenses so bring some cash along. There's a small concession stand selling hot dogs drinks chips and candy. Highly recommended outing on a summer night in Minneapolis.

They send the check-in form ahead of time, so once you arrive it's quick and seamless, no standing around filling out paperwork. You can bring your own helmet or use one of theirs, which is nice, and I loved that you can choose between different course and race options. We booked the Grand Prix package and it was perfect. Tons of lap time, a great mix of practice, qualifying, and racing, and plenty of time actually on the track. They also have an option to show up and drive also for spontaneous dates. The karts themselves are great. Fast, gas-powered, and really fun to drive. The track setup is well designed and makes the racing feel legit, not gimmicky. One of the best parts was getting to see all the stats afterward, lap times, rankings, and performance breakdowns. It adds a competitive edge that makes it even more fun for a group. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience, and everything ran smoothly. This is such a great option for adult group events, birthdays, or date night.
