We worked things out over the phone and I received the excellent customer service I have experienced with him in the past. I was going to delete the original bad review but I feel that people should see how the company is quick to respond and work things out. To me that shows how important their reputation is to them and their desire to do right instead of wrong. So I'm leaving the original review, updating the stars and saying that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing business with this company. ************************* So I have had a bad experience with Go2Party Rentals that I want to share with everyone just to make you aware. On June 7, 2020 I had booked Super Slide Bounce House Combo w/ Pool, 8' Tables (x2), Folding Chairs (x2), Snow Cone Machine, and Giant Jenga from them for my son's 10th birthday. I paid $159.67 half of the rental cost. I rented it for two days from June 27th at noon to June 28th at 8pm. Michael Salazar was so kind to me when doing the booking. A week before the date set up COVID started to get worse again in Houston and we decided to cancel the party. Again, Michael was kind. Told me that normally they would put a time limit of 1 year to rebook but because of COVID they would give me another year. So I was supposed to have until the end of June 2022. The beginning of June I get a phone call from a lady and she told me I had to use it by the end of the month. I explained that we were in the middle of track season and I didn't know when we might actually be available. I told her what Michael had told me. I tried to explain to her that I had lost my job in April of 2020 and I was still not working and wasn't sure when I would be again. Long story short I basically felt forced to book it again for my son's upcoming birthday knowing I might not have the remaining half of the balance. So June 13th I found out my unemployment for some reason had ended. I tried to call them and see about rescheduling or pushing it out like Michael and I had talked about. No return call. I emailed them. No response. I have called numerous times from the 14th to today and no response. So pretty much this company has taken my deposit and refuses to call me back. I want to reschedule with them but they won't let me. Times have been hard for all of us this past year but taking advantage of people under the circumstances is inexcusable in my eyes.

I…read moreleft the review expecting to receive exactly what was advertised, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The bounce house was covered in dirt and grime. When I brought this to the owner's attention, he claimed it was rust that could not be removed. However, I was able to remove it in less than five seconds with a Clorox wipe. I rented the double bounce house with a water slide, but the water feature did not work properly. Instead of flowing efficiently down the slide, it flooded my backyard leaving kids asking for buckets to help with the water. The company sent someone out to inspect the issue, but he said there was nothing he could do. He was also supposed to clean the bounce house, but instead told me to call his boss and left. Since Saturday, September 19, I have repeatedly tried to contact the company by text and phone. I have left multiple messages but have received no response. This company showed a complete lack of communication and integrity. I would not trust them or recommend them to anyone. Customers should be able to rely on a company to address problems and honor its promises. Unfortunately, our family--and the other families involved--were let down. We paid for a clean, functional rental and a guaranteed level of service, but the company failed to deliver on all counts.
