Check in took less than a minute and we were in our sparkling clean room another minute later. The bed was so comfortable. In the morning, another smiling face greeted us warmly in the lobby. (Sorry, I forgot to ask her name!) The included breakfast was well above average and also super clean. Jennifer kept things stocked, never stopped cleaning, answered questions, and was yet another positive and friendly staff member. I don't know who hires the employees here, but they have a real knack for finding gems! Overall, this experience far exceeded expectations. He said he can't give any discounts and the rate is $199. That's crazy to me. I was checking in at midnight. I also signed up for Igh rewards but they said since i didn't sign up prior to my stay i can't get credit for the stay. Everything looked clean and the bathroom was free of mold and grime. The checkin was easy and friendly. The room was a little warm and I couldn't get the thermostat to cool it down much. It was a hot summer in July so I had hoped for a much cooler room. Breakfast wasn't great, so I'm not sure I'd like staying here again for the price. Cheap paper plates kind of says it all to me. The noise from the interstate also flows through the walls too well and can be loud during high travel times.

He stated they just don't wash them and they don't provide cleaning service while you stay but every 5 days which just is trash and towels. Every 5 days shocked me. I have stayed here so much the customer service is horrible. He obviously sided with his wife and lost a 4 more customers. Except for the fact when I checked out, he then refused to not charge me for that day and made me pay. I had stayed here so many times though it had been a while. It wasn't about the money but the rude and racism and dirtiness of a place we had good memories at before. If you forget about that bad customer service I still would not take anyone there again Do not take your children here or if you have any breathing troubles do not go here. We didn't want to splurge on the fanciest of hotels; however, we didn't want to go cheap either, hence we stayed at Tru by Hilton. The odor in the place really got to us, yes we know pets are allowed, but you would think they would offer ways to reduce and/or eliminate the smell. The whole place smelled very musty (aside from our room and the staircase). The bathroom was the sticking point on our overall cleanliness score. Upon getting in the shower we were presented with what appeared to be black mold, not happy about that at all, the towels also were not the cleanest, with my towel having dog hair attached to it as well as black spots. Hospitality - 7/10, I'd say average here. Nothing amazing but definitely nothing bad at all. I can't comment too much as we only stayed one night. Breakfast - 4/10 We appreciate hotel chains that offer breakfast as it's a simple way to get going on the morning.
