F This place and the woman who answered the phone this morning. I came here one time, and the haircuts are long. I don't mind that, I had a beard trim and hair cut and thought they did a good job. I gave the woman a $50 on like a $38 dollar charge. No biggie, the reason is because I didn't know they don't take debit and my card was having a problem with the ATM inside, so I had to give my driver's license and go to wal mart to get money. Then today I go out of my way to make sure I don't have to wait a long time. I stop at the ATM before this place says it opens at 7 am, which I do not think is even true. So I show up at 6:58 a.m after going to the ATM and getting ready for a haircut. No appointments, opens at 7. One person in front of me. The doors open, there are two workers. And one of the workers is cutting a dude's hair already. The place JUST opened their doors. I got upset after 10 minutes and left. I don't want to hear these women enjoying themselves after I just wasted my time based on the time they put on their schedule. I called after I left to verify, no appointments, open at 7. This woman on the phone tells me the guy who was already there, before me when they opened the door, came in through the BACK DOOR! OOOOH! That's what it is. You see, the front door that they open at 7 am to let customers in.. that's not the real door. What a shit show. What kind of business does this? Can you imagine a restaurant you wish to go to opening at 7 a.m. you go there and there's no seats because a bunch of mother fuckers came in through the back? Fuck this place and fuck whoever let this prick come in. It had to be planned. The door was closed in the front. So it was not a spontaneous thing where this business and the prick must've worked together. It wasn't like his hair cut just started when I got there, he was in the middle of it. Fast and high quality haircut every time! I have my favorite barbers here, but I'm often in a hurry and must take the first chair open. Over the last 3 years, all of them have cut my hair and there is not a bad barber in the place. They are great with kids and for an Army standard hair cut, they are better and faster than any place on post and better than any of the 4 other places I've tried off post. read more

No consistency between barbers. Two of three haircuts here have been below my expectations. Two stars because I accidentally got a good haircut the first time in here. Not sure if it's a language barrier or lack of skill but it is significant enough that I will not return nor will I recommend this barber shop. I asked for a trim on the sides and a medium fade. I got some type of non-reg mohawk that I have to go pay a stylist to fix. So happy my photos are more than a week away. The hours are convenient for anybody needing a trim early in the morning but as previously mentioned, it's a crap-shoot and you get what you get. read more

My husband and son have been getting their hair cut here for several months. Lately we've been having problems with common courtesy. One of the ladies told my 6yr old daughter she looked like a boy. Which was very uncomfortable and rude to say to a child. My son is 2yrs old and some times need a little convincing and a minute to work up the courage. Instead of being patient and supportive the lady kept saying not today not today. I understand they're able to turn away service but she showed no interest in even giving us a minute to try things out. We ended up going down the street and had a nice man take his time and made the experience for my 2yr old pleasant. I also think paying the same price for an adult and child is crazy. Horrible experience. Walked in and four women are cutting hair but not a word is being spoken. I take a seat, tell her what I want, and get no communication-- no questions, clarification, etc that I would normally get anywhere else. She just starts cutting and I'm turned from the mirror knowing this is going to end badly. Sure enough, five minutes later my hair is cut and looks nothing like what I asked for. This place have gone down the drain. My son and myself normally go to this place for haircuts but no more. My son asked the lady for a low shadow fade, but ended up with a extremely high cut with no fade, my cut was a 3 of 10, asked for line just like I always do but ended up with I don't know what (I didn't care to much about my hair cut). I've been here twice now and have been super impressed both times. The first time I had to wait only a few minutes (they have a ton of chairs and barbers at all times) and the second time I was seated immediately. They have a few different TVs, giving you something to look at, and the place seemed very clean. Both haircuts left me amazed at how they took their time and were gentle, which is often not the case at military barber shops. I use to get my haircut here all the time until one of the barbers threw a fit for me not taking a number at the front counter. I told her that I always get my haircut with the same barber and she snapped back at me with a vicious attitude saying "I don't care who you are if I tell you to get a number you get a number." All she had to do was explain herself in a reasonable and professional manner and it would have been ok. I'll likely never go back to a chain haircut place after finding this place. A hair cut has just been a haircut to me, go in, tell them how you want it, and wait for them to finish. Mine has been a simple buzz cut for years and usually five minutes and done. Here, she did the buzz, then took time to make sure it was completely even, paid attention to the details and made the trim look sharp. Then after it's done comes the hot towel and a very comforting massage. I've been to places over the years that call themselves "barber shops" but few seem to give the massage and/or hot towels anymore. For $10 this is the best haircut deal in town. read more
