While me and my buddies in the military get basic haircuts, I've seen people walk out of here with the craziest beards, mustaches, and fades. You have to make an appointment. It's fun with a cool atmosphere, and friendly people cutting your hair. Personally, I wish the girl that cut my hair took a little more time, I would like to relax and hang out a bit (both times I was done in less then 10 min, not even enough time to get comfy in the chair lol), but I have ZERO complaints about how my hair turned out! If you want to get in, and get out, and get a good cut, this is the place. Personally I'm going to schedule my next cut with a different person, but it'll definitely be at the same place. This is by far the best place to get your haircut in the Fort Hood/Killeen/Copperas Cove area. Krystal is by far my favorite barber dating back to when I first met her at sport clips. Overall just a great family oriented atmosphere, and I encourage everyone to go here and forget the corporate hair cutting places and Koreans that have hijacked Fort Hood street. This place is awesome! I'm originally from Cali and was just visiting Texas. I was on the hunt for getting haircut and decided to give this place a shot based off the reviews. I was greeted and seen right away when i came through the door. Came here for a haircut. On your first visit they give you a free shampoo head wash. I had gotten a medium skin fade and they did an amazing job. They took there time and care into it. I love how my haircut turned out and would definitly come back here again if i could, but unfortunately have to head back to Cali soon. The price was very affordable. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The atmosphere is cool (old tin signs, license plates, and a tattoo parlor all inside). The music was a great mix. The girls were nice (w/o being overly flirty) and most of them sport the retro look one way or another. They take their time to get it right so don't expect to be in and out. I didn't see anything about a straight shave but they do offer shaving and waxing services for men. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the address on yelp is wrong. Staff was very friendly and happy to help. I didn't have an appointment and was able to be worked in. Place was clean and well kept.

Well I decided to try this place to help support local business. Let me start by saying I am very particular about whocuts my hair. The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside is very well decorated. The place feels like sport clips or knockouts, but a bit more personal. The inside has an automotive theme with the rear end of pick-up trucks for workspace and toolboxes for storage. The staff is friendly and you can tell they take pride in there work. What I like about this place is that they want to do a good job and it shows. Being a personally owned business and not a franchise they depend on word of mouth advertisement and they offer a referral program. They also enter notes in the computer about how you prefer your haircut which will save you time on your next visit. I love not having to explain how I want my haircut every time I sit down. They also offer a military discount. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars was because there was a bit of a wait, however it was due to them taking there time and not rushing there service. If you want a quality haircut with personalized service then stop in here. Update: Cut the Crap and The Service Station are my go to spots for hair cuts. read more

This was our first time going here so I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't sure if it was just for grown men, men and kids, mostly just kids, etc. Surprisingly when I walked in it was all children. There were two children under 5 in seats, two boys around 10, and then my two boys. The only man there was a father looking over his son's cut. This man was talking about getting drunk with one of the stylists, I think they were friends, he was cussing a lot. That is in no way the shops fault, but what is the shops fault, is the two stylists joining in and saying the F word over and over when you are cutting a 5 year olds hair!! It was SOOOOOO unprofessional! The entire shop was filled with children and these two ladies had no idea how to represent a business. There were no men getting cut so you can't blame it on the company. All the clients were children. The cuts were okay but my kids said they don't ever want to go back. The ladies that cut my kids hair were very nice and not participating in the conversation. read more

Made an appointment for a haircut and when I got there the owner said she didn't do scissor cuts but her other stylist did and I could get one with her. Something she should be asking on the phone is what kind of cut the customer is wanting. Waited for thirty minutes while she took her time on a FADE which shouldn't even take that long I mean it must have been .25 of a mm that was coming off. Anyway, when I got up to leave the owner didn't seem to care much that I had wasted my time going all the way out to clear creek from Rancier and sat there for half an hour. I told her "thank you for your time but I have somewhere I need to be." And she was just like "yeah ok" and went on flirting with the military men. Wouldn't be surprised if that's all she cares about. So yeah, needless to say I'm never going back there again. I don't wanna contribute to a business this disorganized and unprofessional. read more
