They came out for a water leak that was in the house and running outside to the foundation. They were less expensive than the first bid and explained everything in great detail and really knew their craft. Very friendly and was able to cut one hole and add an access panel, where the first bid was going to take out drywall and stucco to get to the leak. Was very happy with Knight Plumbing all around and will use them again if the need arises. read more

We had a clog in our kitchen sink and David went above and beyond to fix it. He even fixed a small leak that he found and replaced some worn out caulking on the drain. They are definitely a "do it right the first time" type of company. We will be calling them for any future plumbing needs. read more

**edit** I talked to the owner who seemed like a nice guy. He's looking into it. Hopefully they won't keep having issues with her. I'm not even sure what to say. Literally. I called Knight Plumbing today to check to see if they received the request from my warranty company. This was the actual conversation: "Hello, Knight Plumbing" "Hi. I have been having a plumbing problem and was just calling to see if you've received the paperwork from the warranty company because I haven't received an email back from them yet. Just wanted to double check." The woman sighed. Heavily. Her tone dripped with annoyance. "Well, I don't know who you are, or who your warranty company is." She was obviously disgusted I called. "Do you want me to give you the information?" "No. We're 3 weeks to a month booked out and those warranty companies don't even ask. They don't even ask! They just assign random people and expect us to handle it." "Ok but isn't that something you sign up for with them and have a contract saying that?" "No" "Ok so I'm just trying to find out what I need to do now." "Well, the first thing you can do is...when you call somebody and ask them if they got your claim is to GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION". "I was trying to. You literally started screaming at me from the time I called." "I AM NOT SCREAMING. I AM NOT SCREAMING! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT STUPID WARRANTY COMPANY! I AM NOT SCREAMING!!" click. She hung up on me. Guess we won't be using them? read more

Should have paid more attention to comments - called Knight, prices are 25% higher than most - over $1600 spent and problem NOT solved - company agreed to credit $250 since initial visit @ $410 did not solve problem - then second service did not solve - got a quote to do what they suggest for almost another $4,000 - declined their "service" - and am hoping I get a check for the $250 they said they'd allow --- live & learn. Even though work didn't solve the problem, the workers were friendly. read more

I'm a snowbird. came home at Christmas 2022 to find I had no water in the house. called Knight. they came out the next morning. I had a leak in the main line to the street. they began fixing it almost immediately. It was an BIG job needing even a backhoe. They worked until 8 at night in 0 temperatures with a cold wind to boot. couldn't get it done but came back first thing in the morning. I had water by 11 AM. Friendly, courteous, competent, and fair. I won't lie. it was expensive but fair. They cleaned up my yard the best they could. Then they were instrumental in helping me get a good chunk of the cost re-embursed from my Insurance Company. I could not have ask for more or better service. read more

Septic Tank partial failure so bordering on an emergency. I called Knight after 2 other companies gave me the scheduling runaround. Showed up when they said they would. Knowledgeable and experienced tech. The owner of the company touched base the next day. I had a few post-op questions and he personally came over the day to answer them. I would recommend this company. read more

A very nice young man came out to fix our sink. It was the flangers that was leaking. We understood it was covered with our home serve policy. The young man came in with the part and said this isn't covered. I asked how much and was told $225.00. I said no way I will do the job myself. He went to his truck to leave. I was headed out to get my tools and he ran up and said he was wrong his boss said it was covered. ??? not sure if it was a mistake or a ploy to get more money. It took him less than 10 minutes to replace the parts. ??? read more

It was like Beavis and Butthead bought a snake and called themselves plumbers.

For the second time in a year had problem leaks with that inferior blue pipe from the water main to the house. Called Homeserve and they sent out Knight Plumbing. My pipes were a mess and ultimately needed total replacement which they did. They kept me informed of what was going on, the crew was respectful and a joy to work for. Not once did they show irritation for all my stupid questions. I've not seen young men work as hard as they did for a long time. Plumbing always require a mess and cleanup and they have helped me so much to try to get back to normal. I highly recommend them. Linda D. read more

Called Knight Plumbing after being quoted by another company for main sewer line replacement. They ended up quoting us literally HALF the price as the previous company we worked with. They got us scheduled in quickly, started work on time, did great quality work, and the entire team was respectful, thorough, trustworthy, and got the job done right away on our 80+ yr home. Absolutely recommend them for any job large or small (especially older, east/north end Boise homes)! Thank you for a seamless and quality job well done! read more

Knight Plumbing is the real deal. These guys came out right away-- even though it was the weekend and they fixed our issue right away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services. read more

I had this company go out and redo the sewer line in one of our properties, a little while later the ground started sinking in around the line. I contacted them and had them check the line for leaking. They said it was fine and that we would have to fill in with dirt. I feel like this should be their problem to fix as they didn't pack the hole correctly. This is going to be a big problem and hassle to fix as I don't have access to any equipment to move dirt around. read more

Knight Plumbing really did a great job on my house. Had the inside of my house repainted, new toilets installed and the AC and furnace serviced. The crew was great, and respectful. I would recommend them for all your home services. read more

I had scheduled a 2 hour block with Knight Plumbing to review an issue. The plumbers never showed and didn't inform me of any issues which might delay them. I followed up and called them-person on the phone didn't know where the plumbers were. I mentioned that my time is valuable too and that I understand situations come up but that when situations do come up to simply communicate them to me. The person then started becoming defensive and argumentative-I then hung up. Am moving on to someone else. read more

Thank you so much for coming out late and fixing my leak at a fair price! You guys ROCK!

I gave this one star only for the tech Shane who fixed my water pipe very quickly. Its customer service is worst. Charged me $525 for the service, I called them and was told it's $450 after 10 percent off, but the girl told me that she would call me back, 5 minutes later, she called me back and told me $525 was the correct price after the discount. I was shocked because $525 is the price what Shane told me before he started the work. I paid right away via the phone, but I didn't get my recipe after at least 2 weeks, so I called back and the lady on the phone was cold attitude and not patient at all. Nerver hire them again before they hire professional. read more

Buyer beware! They may know plumbing but their tilework is expensive and substandard! Do not do business with this company!

We had a bidet we wanted to install on our toilet. This company was very eager and quick and gave us a reasonable bid. They had it installed same day! The customer service was especially impressive. read more

Only because there is not a ZERO. They came through HWA today after holding us up for $410.00 for something COVERED in our contract. They left, taking the faucet. N Now the shower that was hard to turn on doesn't turn on at all! read more

Had a minor flood in closet in bedroom in basement from sump pump. I was in a panic and thought it was going to be an expensive problem. Knights showed up about 30 min after I reported the problem which was wonderful and the technician looked at it and didnt really do anything to inspect it. He said he had no idea whats wrong with it and they would need to remove it and disassemble to find the problem and then reinstall, but it would be cheaper just to remove and have a new one installed. He went outside and spoke to manager and came back in and quoted me $1,900 to do the job that night. I thought that sounded crazy and called a friend who reminded me about a secondary insurance program I have called American Home Shield, I called them and they said it should be covered and got me in touch with Abrao Plumbing. Mike came the following Monday and actually touched the pump to inspect it, a simple unplugging of the second cord and directly plugging it into the wall made the water cycle. He then pulled the small plug off the top of the pump and saw a valve was caught against the wall and jingled it free and next thing you know it was back to normal working order. A small home service fee was all that was charged by an honest, ethical company. I will always use Abrao after having this experience and would caution anyone thinking about using Knights plumbing based on this experience. They were basically going to rob me for $1,900 to fix a pump that wasn't broken....shame on you!!! read more

Michael and his crew showed up within the hour that I called them about a leak. Turned out the problem was waaay worse than we thought- the sewer line had been invaded, collapsed, backed up, and flooded our basement. It was a disaster that took over 3 weeks to repair. All the workers from Knight Plumbing showed up on time every day, worked hard, and did great work. It was helpful that they were also skilled in construction, since they had to do some of that for us as well. It was so nice in the midst of such a stressful situation to have help that was honest, reputable, and kind. Thank you, Knight Plumbing! read more

Unless your plumbing is completely standard which most you will have problems with this company I would avoid using them there is a lot better plumbers in the valley. They will require the none standard problem to be fixed before continuing which may not fix the problem and is expensive. PS. They use it in the irritating receptionist to screen the calls if any problems to occur. read more

So great full for knight plumbing, called many places to come look at my water heater but they wanted me to pay them for just coming out and looking! Even tried explaining what was going on but they still wanted to come look aka they just wanted my money! Knight plumbing listened then came out looked at what was wrong for free, informed me of how much it would be way before even doing anything! Any questions I had they answered and didn't look at me like I was dumb! Best part is they came not long after I called on a Saturday in the middle of the night, so glad they did if they didn't I would of had to spend more money getting a new water heater and proably would of had a flood in my crawl! Their price for what they all had to do was reasonable. Thank you knight plumbing for being so fast and helpful! read more

We called these guys for a non-working hot water heater. they sent over a non journeyman plumber and without looking at the unit we needed a new one. This kind of magic you don't see everyday. This is example of the current craftsmen we have deal with these days. Nothing but fraud here. read more

After having another company come to my house 3 times in the last 3 years for the same issue I called Knight Plumbing. They were knowledgeable, fast, and worked directly with the city and my insurance company on my problem. They were able to identify the problem easily and fixed it quickly. It involved digging 7' down in my front yard which they did without even making a mess and my grass isn't destroyed! I got home and could hardly tell they had been there aside from my issue being completely fixed. The guys were courteous and professional and knew what they were doing. The other company was never even able to identify the real problem, nevermind fix it and work with the city and insurance. I highly recommend Knight Plumbing! read more

Prompt after-hours response time. Service repair was done quickly and completely, and cleaned up afterwards. Knight Plumbing was well-represented by Tim, who drove to our northwest Boise home from Mountain Home for the service call! Excellent! Thank you so much for your great service! read more

Very poor customer service! Knight Plumbing was contracted as the vendor to fix a non-working furnace for our home in Boise through my Home Warranty Co. Claim was made on a Saturday Morning (mind you it's mid-January with 6 inches of snow on the ground) I called Knight Plumbing directly myself on Saturday to confirm....was told they may not be able to get to me until Monday. Called again Monday, person answering phone confirmed my address and said technician will be calling shortly. Hours later still nothing....the warranty co then calls Knight Plumbing and they then claim that they never got the request. POOR Service and dishonest!! Will never use read more

DONT USE!! Had a flood in the basement the guy came out to snake 3 minutes into the job he said his snake broke and he had to go to Eagle for a part! We live in Boise. An hour and half later he came back. We asked him if they could come run a camera through the line he said on Monday a person would be by 8-11. No one showed! They finally called on Tuesday decided to give them another chance. They told us they would record the footage of pipe and give to us and mark out the pipes in our front yard. 2 guys showed up they smelled so bad of body odor and cigs they were super sketchy, shaking and talking a million miles an hour. They didn't wear any booties, and were all around terrifying dudes. They did not give us any footage or mark the pipes. We called back and the woman on the phone was so rude and started verbally attacking us. Do not use this company they are terrible and their crew is super sketchy and smelly we had to air out the entire house. Seriously call anyone but them!! read more

Our sewer line backed up to the street and we think they fixed it. It's only been a few days since, so we'll see if we have any more issues. They were able to get a same day appointment due to a cancellation, however they were still an hour late, but that's really the only positive about them. They charge to remove a toilet (185) and run the line through the sewer pipe (325), which is fine. We told them we could remove the toilet ourselves in a half hour, when our tools were brought back to the house to do so. They didn't want to wait the half hour, even though they were late themselves an hour and we waited for them. After negotiating (read:arguing with a rude plumber) they knocked down $85. They finally did the work, and like I said, we THINK the issue is resolved. But we'll update if not. When I made the initial appointment, the lady on the phone said they do financing, which would have been perfect for our situation, since we didn't have the money to pay in full. When the plumber finished, they said they do NOT finance and take payment in full before leaving. We had no choice but to put the amount on a credit card. I feel it's pointless to call back and argue this, because I really don't want to deal with this company ever again! GO somewhere else if you can. read more

The only reason Knight Plumbing gets one star is that they did get part of the job done. They were late. After inspecting the two leaks (in different locations) they told my insurance co. something that was not accurate, resulting in the insurance co. not covering one of the leaks. Knight Plumbing took advantage of our situation. They knew our water was shut off and could not be turned back on until both leaks were fixed. I strongly suspect that they purposely misled the insurance co. so that we would have to pay for the leak out of pocket and then charge us an inflated price because we were desperate. Knight wanted to charge us nearly $400 to fix a little pin-hole leak. I didn't go for that, so two days later, they fixed the leak that the insurance co. had approved. They (Knight)were again late to that appointment. They were quick once they got there, got a leaky valved replaced, but did a very poor spackling job. They got spackel all over my base board and carpet, didn't paint, and got spackle all over the new valve they installed. Did not bother laying down protection at all. Additionally, they were heavy smokers. Even though they didn't smoke in our home, their clothes were so saturated with cigarette smoke our house still reeks. The smell is making me sick to my stomach. As for the other leak that they were going to try to charge me nearly $400 for? I fixed it myself with a $16 Sharkbite kit from Home Depot. Oh, and they got all bothered when I asked for an invoice. read more
