I also wanted to share my experience with everyone about the excellent customer service Knickerbocker provided to me. We purchased King and Queen Beds with Knickerbocker universal frames for our house a long time ago when bought the house. However, we recently moved to another house and lost king expander pieces during the move. I started checking internet and had no luck. I went to Mattress Discounters, Mattress Warehouse and Sleepy's. None of the retailer were able to help with the parts. I asked them to check if they can order the parts since they are retailer. I was told no and offered to purchase new frame with a little discount. However, the guy at Mattress Discounter where we bought the beds from looked at the picture of the frame and indicated that it's a Knickerbocker frame. Next day, I went online and started looking for the contact information. I couldn't find the phone number but saw the email contact for customer service. I reluctantly send a message along with pictures and didn't expect any response for my request of parts. To my surprise, I received an email from Mr. Michael Reinheimer as follows: Thank you for your inquiry, I will do my best to assist you. In the picture that you sent...I don't see a center support on your frame...do you have one? As noted, Mr. Reinhemier not only responded but asked whether I needed a center support or not. I already have supports for both beds so didn't need. Next thing I know, they shipped the missing parts via FedEx at no charge and no questions. You know that speaks volumes about the customer services by the company that had no obligation to honor such request. I know consumers receives bad customer services from the big corporations all the times and continue to put up with it. However, there are also companies like Knickerbocker which continue to provides the best customer services and reestablish the trust in US businesses that stands out from other. It's easy to talk about bad experience but I wanted to highlight the best experience any consumer can appreciate in this day and time. I wanted to spread the word about the best service I received from the Knickerbocker. I have become the lifetime customer for the company. I had some initial trouble finding the BedBeams, but ended up ordering it from my local Southern California Sit n Sleep and was delivered to the store in less than a week. THANK YOU so much for your Queen Deluxe Bed Beam Support System. My boyfriend swore up and down that the sagging problem in our bed was the mattress itself. I said "Ok, honey" and proceeded to order the Bed Beam system anyway. I installed it myself in less than 10 minutes and wow, what a difference!!! I purchased the Queen Deluxe BedBeam Support system. Support beams are solid steel and feet are strong and easy to adjust to the perfect level. Our old wooden bed has never been more solid and it doesn't creak any more!! Thank you for the BedBeams! To anyone seraching for a bedframe, look no further. I have had a Knickerbocker bed frame for over 10 years and it is still in perfect condition. Not only is their product excellent, the customer service is even better. I recently moved and lost one of the bed cones (glide) which the frame rests on. After scowering the internet for a replacement set, I was unssucessful in locating one. I visited the Knickerbocker website and found an email to which I sent my issue. A customer service representative immediately responded and was incredibly helpful in supplying me with a new set of the glides. I would highly recommend Knickebocker for their product and their cusotmer service. You won't find a better company out there! read more

I have a firm mattress / spring set (queen size), but kept waking with headaches or neck pain. Then I discovered that the frame (which came free with the new bedding) was broken and never designed to provide sufficient support. I investigated bed frames online and found the Knickerbocker Bed Company. I went to see the emBrace floor model in the nearby store, and ordered it. It was unpacked and set up in 5 minutes. It IS easy to move on carpeting, even though it doesn't have casters. Best of all, it provides the support needed for a good night's sleep. And it's made in AMERICA! It was expensive, but worth it. I recently purchased a serta mattress set from Deardens. The mattress was perfect but I noticed that my frame seemed worn out when they delivered and set up the new bed. I went back to Deardens the next day and saw exactly what I wanted - it is called the embrace bed frame. It is available in 3 colors and can hold far more weight than is really necessary. I also really appreciated the fact that there are no sharp edges. When I put the new frame under my new mattress set, I noticed a big difference in the way the bed felt - it was more supportive. Bought the white Embrace bed frame after a year of research for the best product to get the box springs and mattress off the floor. It was delivered to my home and took less than 2 minutes to put together once the box was opened. This bed frame is "golden." Easy to put together, looks great, no noise, no need for a dust ruffle, glides on the bedroom carpet and so far, durable. Wish I had found this product a year ago. My husband and I bought our bed frame 3 years ago and have used it both at the California king and King sizes. The frame is well constructed and it was easy to adjust. When we adjusted the frame and realized that one of the lock plugs was broken, we contacted customer service and they quickly sent a replacement. I got one of their frames with a Tempur-Pedic purchase 5 years ago. After our last move, we discovered that the movers had lost one of the feet for the bed. We got the Ultima bed frame made by Knickerbocker. We had some trouble with the spacers that came with the bed but when we contacted the company they sent us several spares free of charge. Unfortunately, we still had issues with those spacers so the company sent us gliders, again free of charge. read more

We've had several of their frames and very happy with them. When movers damaged the plastic bushings trying to remove the wheels - they shouldn't have - Knickerbocker sent replacements for free no questions asked. and these are 20+ year old frames. read more
