Shhh don't tell my local HG but I think this one in Lyndhurst is the best HG in north Jersey. Every time I've visited, it's clean, VERY well stocked, and organized so so well. Every. Single. Time. I was so impressed during my 3rd or 4th visit that I complimented one of the staffers when I went up to the cash register with my stuff. She thanked me and told me that everyone has their designated sections, and they all stock them with such pride. And you can tell, they do such a good job! Home Goods has become one of our favorite stores since we became home owners almost 13 years ago. My partner and I came tonight, located off of New York Avenue in Lynhurst, looking for decorative accessories for our new sofa, and it wasn't crowded. This establishment has so much to offer its customers in terms of home products at such affordable prices. I like to say this brand is very similar to how Marshall's and TJ Maxx are, but is a bit more luxurious. Since the selection is always changing, it's the best bet to grab it while it lasts, as one could always return it if not needed. Quality is always amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the stores are well-organized and easy to navigate. And their seasonal selection is always on point, so we can recommend this place. read more

Between you and me... my mother-in-law has a laundry list of things she doesn't approve of when it comes to, well.... me. (Hey, that's just how it goes.) In her 'Top 10' - that I just don't "get" the TJ Maxx/Marshalls 'thing'. If she's not home - she's probably strolling the aisles of this type of store. Well after a decade of being open - I finally stepped foot into this Home Goods in my town and... I'm officially a big fan. (But let's not tell my mother-in-law she was right the whole time.) I'm not sure what I expected when I walked in but it was the complete opposite. It smelled great. It's bright. It's clean. It's both entirely (too) filled with (too) many items and it's still spacious and navigable and pleasant. With each visit - no matter how specific the item I'm after - I've found it. The price was right. The cashier was friendly. Antiquated 'Blue Laws' means this location is closed on Sundays. And the rest of my day I had a bit of a pep in my step... like I stumbled upon a 'secret' (that the rest of y'all already knew about for years). What HG is really all that near and organized, really? Half the fun to rummaging through the clearance aisle. This location has tons of parking and a friendly staff. The kitchen section is pretty well laid out. Things start to get a little messy in the kids section. No complaints though, I always find something when I'm here. Especially love the small gourmet olive oil section. I always pick up something new to try. read more

Really happy HomeGoods is here and TJMaxx around the corner! Can't find domestic products I need here, then I check out their sister spot! Located right in the town mall with ShopRite and Petsmart, it's one parking lot of places I just need to grab things at. This location generally has what I'm looking for, typically a new pot or pan, bathroom decor, linens, dog toys, rugs, furniture, etc. Great to find seasonal decor here as well! It's quite difficult to walk out with nothing. I feel like they definitely carry a nice assortment of items which aren't damaged or defective by any means. I do carefully check their pots and pans though as they often have scratches on the enamel or metal, but very minimally. Much busier on the weekend, but lines move fast. Staff is typically friendly and help you if you can't find something. It's not a huge store, but it holds enough without being a giant cluster. read more

Great Home Goods location and significantly better than the combined Marshalls/HG located in Secaucus. Love their selection of items in all categories, decent parking lot despite being in a complex, well-staffed and taking all precautions during this pandemic time. While things are well laid out, my only gripe is their one way stickers around the floors of the store make absolutely no sense! The placement is ridiculous and I'm convinced someone placed them randomly to mess with customers. TJ Maxx is also around the corner, so great location overall. read more

So it was my 1st time coming to this location and decided to stop by since I was in the area. I must say I actually really liked this store! Amongst the crowds of shoppers doing some domestic shopping for their home- the store was quite organized. There was even some things that I seen in this store that I did not previously see in other stores such as bathroom fixtures and furniture not carried at the other locations. This location, just as in all the other locations had the typical layout that helps you shop for every aspect of your home including your pets! Overall, I was very pleased with this store and would recommend anyone to shop here on a whim just as I did as you will not be disappointed! read more

Love HomeGoods in general but not all are created equal! This place rocks! It's small but usually have good items flying off the shelf as soon as it's stocked. You just have to come here at the right timing. I find many home decor items here that reminds me of the ones seen in pottery barn magazines. The fact that the place is small, many shoppers do not come here so it's not as busy as the Secaucus location. Also, not many people know this place which makes me skeptical of leaving. I admit I was selfish to even review this location. I've been here at least 10 times already and decided to write about it now, haha. Items are stacked neatly here. My husband and I purchased a TV stand at the HomeGoods in Lyndhurst. The first day we purchased it we could not fit it in our truck but everyone was great and wrapped our purchase up and explained what we had to do to pick it up, even what to do if by some chance we couldn't pick it up. When my husband picked it up the next day he had the best experience with the manager at the store who helped him load the item onto his truck. I just adore going to HomeGoods and here is why, today I needed a new quality sauté pan. So I went to my local HomeGoods store because you see it a is a an odd-lot mark down discount store with little bit of everything for the home and the bigger ones even sell cloths and shoes They have designer and imported goods, some great looking stuff and some odd-ball items too.The place is for treasure hunters with no map, you may find something and maybe you may not. I see a Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 5-Quart sauté pans with Glass Lid at $49, I look online and Williams Sonoma has the same pan for $189, Amazon has it for $139. So OK it has no box, maybe the back has a little mark, but it's shinny new heavy pan that is clean and comes with top. It's not a gift for the Pope I just going to use it for cooking. It's a done deal and I'm taking it home and I'm going to now make some food love with it and once I'm done it's going to want me to do some more. read more

I have visited he HomeGoods store in Lyndhurst, NJ on several occasions and EVERY single time I went to the checkout register the cashier would scan the item and then remark that she needed to confirm the price even though there was a secure scanning tag attached to the items. Sure enough they would send someone to check the price after the cashier checked it on her register who didn't even take the item she was supposed to be verifying and came back with a price DOUBLE of what was on the attached pricing label. This is not the first time this has gone on in this store but let me tell you it will be the last time for me. Home Goods is Home Goods. I prefer this home goods location over the one in Wayne. I have been to this location at least 4-5 times now and I have never left this store without making a purchase. The store is clean and never crowded, possibly because it's what I would consider off the beaten path. The staff has also always been friendly and helpful. This is the most racist Home Goods I have every been to the greeter greeted every person with a hello however when my daughter and I entered not one word was spoken, not to mention there was not a person of color working there. The cashier whole disposition changed when she seen us coming to her register, my daughter said Hello and no reply. BAD customer service. read more

I LOVE Homegoods! This location is a hidden gem in Lyndhurst. Because it's smaller than most locations it doesn't get overly crowded. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Its's in a mall strip with other stores including a Shoprite and therefore parking is abundant. The only downfall is that it's smaller than most Homegoods and therefore less inventory, but this shouldn't stop you from coming here! It's definitely my go-to place! read more

Store seems nice when you walk in. I was looking for some stuff for my kitchen. I needed some pots and pans and flatware. The flatware section looked like it had just picked clean during a holiday sale. I was not able to make a set of much of anything. Most of the store looked mis-matched. I will most likely not come here again. I go to all the Home Goods in the 15 mile area of where I live and I like this one the best. Ironically it was the first one I went to, and where I originally discovered home goods! Reasons that make this one the best is the staff and the bargains. This Home Goods has more clearance items offered than others if you like deals on deals. All home goods are not the same it turns out! This one is a little better, but as always with Home Goods you have to go often because it's hit or miss.
