He was very friendly, flexible, and easy to work with. We had multiple calls leading up to my wedding to discuss all the elements and Mike did a great job hosting all the entrances, bouquet toss, planned dances, etc. He also did a great job playing all the songs I requested. Because of his careful attention to detail everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again! There are 2 doors between your space and the owners space that you can't lock. The doors lock from…read moretheir side and gives them full access to the apartment at any time. This made me nervous. I was out one day, came back to the apartment and thought things didn't look 'right'. So I pushed a table up against one of the doors and placed a broom over the other so I could tell if someone came in. Guess what... Some one did!!! The table pushed up against the door was moved out away from the door! MAJOR breach, and I think it's against the law, going into someone's place when they are gone. DO NOT expect privacy if you rent this place. They come and go in your space as they please. This was the most disappointing thing about my stay... I searched the place for cameras. Didn't find any, but it doesn't mean there are none. I felt so violated. Be prepared, this has no air conditioning, and no matter what the owner tells you, it doesn't stay cool. You do have 2 ceiling fans which lessen the misery a little. The stove did not work, so don't count on cooking any meals unless you want to microwave it. The microwave did work. All of the dishes, silverware, knives, etc were there. This is an old home so there is rust around sink fixtures and moldy rot in the window sills. The outdoor shower was grown over with brush so there was no way it could be used without doing trimming of the bushes. They offer pornography on the TV! Shocked the crap out of me! Monica, female owner, tried to act cordial. All it came off as was very fake. Steve, her husband was kind and appeared to be far more friendly. Monica and Steve, when you read this, don't try to make excuses for entering the apartment while I was away. I took pics of everything with dates and times. Shame on you.

He never did so I called back a few days later just for him to be sassy and not want to give my any quote or any estimate on how much a simple tent would cost until he comes and looks at the land again. After not talking for a while I called again just for him to give me the excuse that he doesn't want to put up a tent there if there isn't security, so I was going to see if I could hire some but he basically said that he just doesn't want to do it. Not sure how this guy gets any business. Poor communication, very rude/sassy, and puts no effort into wanting to help you.

In lieu of spending a large portion of our décor on tent drapes, Percy used his lighting expertise to fill the tent with café lights and twinkle lights. Percy's easy going nature made it really easy to work with him. Although he typically designs for high end weddings and multi-million condo interiors, he was happy to work with our budget. I had purchased chandeliers online and he was more than happy to help me put them up in the tent. Also, Percy will send you a rendering of what the lighting will look like but they do the finished product and experience no justice. We booked Greenstone Project's 6 piece band and Percy did such a great job on the stage lighting, creating the perfect dance floor for our guests

My wife and I decided to elope to Kauai, and after doing some research, we contacted Aloha Ever After, we first spoke to Nicolle, who was very helpful, polite & attentive to our wishes, I liked that she listened to what we had in mind and didn't try to steer us in different directions. I also liked the follow up emails and videos from Timory, Their organization made all of the planning go so smooth and easy. On the big day, the weather was a little unstable, "No panic needed", As we sat in the parking lot praying for the weather to clear, we spoke with Joel & Timory, who had several ideas for alternatives in case the rain persisted. moments later, our wishes and prayers were answered, the sky cleared enough to proceed and not only did we manage to enjoy an amazing and beautiful ceremony, complete with the traditional Hawaiin Lei swap and sand ceremony, But we felt like we were blessed with several miracles during the wedding, In the bay near our "I Do" location, Our photographer (Timory) noticed and pointed out a manta ray, which she said she had never seen in all of her years of performing weddings on that beach! when I asked at our restaurant that evening, our waiter couldn't believe it either, he stated he was born and raised there and had never seen a manta ray either! then rainbows were popping up all around us and the sky cleared to make way for an amazing sunset and many more great photos! We simply could not have made the day any more special than it was. Joel and Timory were both amazing to work with on every level. I wanted to take pictures in the McBride Botanical Gardens. A few days before the event I received an email with instructions and "what if it rains" options. The morning of our shoot, it was raining. Timory called the gardens to make sure it was in fact raining there. Different parts of the island rain at different times. She wanted to make sure before she rescheduled. We rescheduled for a few days later. Good plan. It was a beautiful day. She arrived on time, and was flexible with our time and a second event she was working at. She was fair with our pricing as we went over our one hour agreement. The photo's arrived via email and download a few days later and they were just what I was hoping for! I would use this company again down the road. Very nice and made my kids comfortable during the photo shoot!
