Saw Dr. Gifford's great reviews but was worried I'd have to wait weeks as she's booked up in advance (deservedly so as she's amazing!) so I called yesterday morning at 10:15am, and by luck and the sweetness of the staff particularly the nice lady I spoke to whose name escapes me, they had a 10:30am cancellation and told me to come on in! Staff didn't want me to lose any visit time so they let me fill out the new patient forms after I met with her... Dr. Gifford took one look, new immediately what the problem was and went to work right away! She fixed me up, gave me recommendations for new shoes and I was on my way. I have been putting tea tree drops every night on each toe for over 2 years with no noticeable reduction in the infection. Went to this Dr. for the first time. He said that tea tree oil would not help. He asked if he could clip off the tips of the two toes. We said ok, and he roughly cut off both tips which caused my wife pain. His manner and rough actions were very unsettling for us. My wife was now very upset and did not want him to do anything more. He did not recommend any other topical medicine. This time I opted to get the ingrown toenail removed and I also did the permanent removal / cauterization. Seriously Dr. Wee is the best!
