My husband loves getting a legit, (nothing shady) relaxing massage. Both of us have tried out different places around Corona & Riverside including Zeel (where they come to your home). I thought I'd try a new place for his birthday and Kneaded Therapy didn't disappoint. Usually, he'll say the massage was nice however, there is often a "but" afterward. Not this time! I booked him a 90 min. massage and he said it was so relaxing, he couldn't have been happier. He thoroughly enjoyed his massage therapist, Eugen. FYI, when I called to make the appointment it was later in the evening just before they closed. Eugen answered the phone but had left the establishment and didn't have his appointment book with him. There is a $35 deposit fee that is clearly stated on the website. Once I sent him the money via Zelle, he texted me appointment times for the day I wanted to make the appointment. I received a reminder text the day before the appointment. I'm excited to find a local small business here in Corona with great services. My favorite part about this massage place is their combination of massage therapy and chiropractor skills. They use really good oil too and the place is so comfy and quiet. I called and made an appointment with Denise and she got me all the way together the next day! Yes Lord! It had been over 2 years since I had a professional massage (former Burke Williams member) and she took great care of me with a 90 minute medium-firm pressure massage with stretching. I also had some hip pain and she was careful handling that area. I'm so glad I found her and already made my next appointment. She blessed my body, mind and spirit with her gifted hands and I'm counting down the days until I return. I was so happy and relieved when I left. Back in 2010 I decided to try something I had never done before - get a colonic . It was the first (and only) time I had been to Kneaded Therapy. I had driven by the facility before: it's quaint and welcoming. Inside, they offered many different services at a good price. I came in with a coupon and an appointment, and was only waiting for a few minutes while the colonic "specialist" got everything ready. I was mostly disappointed by her, not the facility. I don't remember her name and I don't know if she still works there, but she seemed like she didn't care about me, and I was very nervous! During the experience, the water got very hot... Uncomfortably hot, but because she didn't really explain anything to me, or try to put me at ease, I didn't know if. This was normal. I pushed the call button, and she came in and gave a little gasp when she read the thermometer. She seemed surprised that the water was so hot! (She is the colon person.... She should have taken the necessary steps to make sure the machine wouldn't malfunction!) A few other times, I started cramping a lot, but she was never in the room to give me a stomach massage or give me a hot blanket to put on my stomach (which other colonics facilities do). I just felt like she didn't want to be bothered with me. She was nice, but not helpful and she didn't spend any time with me. And now that I have been to high quality colonic facilities, I know that she should have treated me better. read more
