Milford Dental Group is the worst dental office I have ever been to. They seem to focus more on…read moretaking your money than actually caring about patients. About three years ago, I had a bridge done there, and it was a terrible experience. My gums never healed properly, I had a bad odor coming from my mouth, and the bridge was done incorrectly. Despite charging me a large amount of money, the bridge didn't even last three years. I later went back for a crown issue, and the first thing the dentist said was that I needed the tooth pulled and to pay $5,000. The very next day, I went to another dentist in Attleboro, who was honest, skilled, and truly cared about saving my tooth. He was able to save it and redo the bridge for a reasonable price. Now, they are trying to charge me for services that were never performed. This is completely unacceptable. Please do your research before going to Milford Dental Group. Do not even take your dog there. There are plenty of honest, competent dentists who actually care about their patients--this place is not one of them.

Not only did Milford Dental Group see me that same morning I called in excruciating pain and treat my immediate dental emergency but the staff and Dentist Dr. Awad treated me with genuine care and consideration as if I was family and what started as a one time emergency visit has become my Dentist for life. I never felt like a stranger from the moment I walked into the office. I am one who has spent my life at age 55 avoiding the dentist because of awful experiences as a child and even as an adult. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually look forward to my next visit and am on a regular dental regimen now to have my oral hygiene the best it has been in my lifetime. Puts you at easy right away. Next, staff is wonderful! Office manager Jason is warm, caring, knows his craft and keeps the office running like clock work! Hygienist Dina balances her sweet disposition with the most gentle touch. Dr. Bankhead is the best dentist I've ever had. He is a pleasure to see. I require frequent visits and actually look forward to going as I always feel better afterwards. I've never experienced any pain...almost fell asleep a few times on the chair. The service is obviously paramount for this office as is their I.T. relativity. Everything is automated and current. I get automated and personal reminders making it easy to remember appts. And their medical equipment is top notch and rivals any large company. I've been a customer for about 5 years and can only say great things about this business. Jason, who runs the office, is the most efficient and thorough office manager I've met at any business. He always makes sure I know everything I need to (even tracking down info I might need to know from my insurance) before we have any procedure. He never lets me miss my appointments (and I am a notorious flake when it comes to that). We've been bringing our son since he was old enough to need cleanings, too. Not once did she make me feel embarrassed. Instead, she laughed and said, "Girl, it's okay, we all get backed up sometimes." That honestly made my whole day. Healthcare workers like her make such a difference. She treated me with kindness, humor, and genuine care when I was feeling pretty miserable. Give that woman an award! RUDE and MANIPULATIVE - Don't go here…read more Milford Orthodontics WAS a great place to go until recently. I had been a patient here for years when I was younger and had braces. The former orthodontist provided a friendly and informative environment. I returned just weeks ago to get my (broken after years of wear) permanent retainer out to find the place under new leadership. Right from the start, my experience was horrible. I waited over 30 minutes in the waiting room after my scheduled appointment time. When I finally got seated, the wait was even longer for attention from the orthodontist and there was the sense that they had overbooked. Then, the staff was extremely rude to me about one of my medical decisions. The orthodontist and her assistant made it abundantly clear that they thought I was wrong in my decision, even going as far as to refer to my decision sarcastically to each other, right in front of me. What is more unacceptable however, is their attempted manipulation. I won't go into details, but the staff at Milford Orthodontics tried to force me into making a decision that would have cost me money by telling me they had spoken with my mom (which they hadn't) and that she wanted a certain action taken (which, for the record, she didn't) despite the fact that I was 18, and in charge of my own medical decisions.
