I have been going to this practice for close to 20 years now…read more Dr. Bankhead is trustworthy and kind. I have always felt sure he knows what he is doing and has my best interests in mind. Jason, who runs the office, is the most efficient and thorough office manager I've met at any business. He always makes sure I know everything I need to (even tracking down info I might need to know from my insurance) before we have any procedure. He never lets me miss my appointments (and I am a notorious flake when it comes to that). We've been bringing our son since he was old enough to need cleanings, too. It's just one of those places you know you can trust.

ER Dr only x-rayed one leg. Even though I asked about the other, stated that was all they found. 2 days later (while in a make shift splint on the 4th floor) my son was still in alot of pain I asked the attending doctor to review the x-ray from when in ER. He flipped through his records and said " they didnt x-ray that leg!) My son was bruised from hip to toe, I showed the Dr and he ordered another x-ray. His femur and tibia were broken. He had gone 2 days without this being noticed due to the incompetence of the ER Dr. He was eventually transferred to MGH where he was properly casted and cared for. 2 weeks later my son was suffering from a blockage. Back to ER (unfortunately, needing ambulance transport due to bilateral casting and having to go by stretcher, Milford was only option.) He was admitted, he wasn't cleaned out properly and few days after discharge I was abled to arrange transportation to Newton Wellsley. He was taken care of there. Three months later, my son is suffering from acute insomnia. After working relentlessly with his psychiatrist with nothing working for him, on the 9th sleepless night, he became delusional, hearing voices, paranoid and seeing things that weren't there. ER did nothing. Had a behavioral clinician eval and sent him home. Unbelievable!

RUDE and MANIPULATIVE - Don't go here…read more Milford Orthodontics WAS a great place to go until recently. I had been a patient here for years when I was younger and had braces. The former orthodontist provided a friendly and informative environment. I returned just weeks ago to get my (broken after years of wear) permanent retainer out to find the place under new leadership. Right from the start, my experience was horrible. I waited over 30 minutes in the waiting room after my scheduled appointment time. When I finally got seated, the wait was even longer for attention from the orthodontist and there was the sense that they had overbooked. Then, the staff was extremely rude to me about one of my medical decisions. The orthodontist and her assistant made it abundantly clear that they thought I was wrong in my decision, even going as far as to refer to my decision sarcastically to each other, right in front of me. What is more unacceptable however, is their attempted manipulation. I won't go into details, but the staff at Milford Orthodontics tried to force me into making a decision that would have cost me money by telling me they had spoken with my mom (which they hadn't) and that she wanted a certain action taken (which, for the record, she didn't) despite the fact that I was 18, and in charge of my own medical decisions. When I informed them of this, they eventually subsided amid more sarcastic comments. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical behavior on all fronts
