I plucked Erik from all the other State Farm Insurance possibilities because his office was in my…read moreneighborhood and because he seemed to have rave reviews on Google. Man, I'm GLAD I did. My first contact was with Maribeth G... his account manager, who was my speed-dial-go-to-savior during the complicated process of my state-to-state transfer for auto insurance, my in-state new auto purchase for my second car, and the closing on the purchase of my new home-- which ALL HAPPENED AT ONCE. Patient, understanding, empathetic, and AMAZING... she was my port in the storm. She literally told me, "I'm bringing my work laptop home and I'll be on my cellphone all weekend, in the event that you close-- I don't want your State Farm insurance holding up your closing!" Who DOES THAT!?! Maribeth and State Farm do!! I was also astounded and validated when applying for my loan for the second car at the Chevy dealership, the financing department raved about Erik when they were noting my coverage information. Hilariously, the following week, when I was picking up the car, they called me into the office... to introduce me to Erik who so happened to be there that day! I was able to put the face with the name! (and he to mine!)-- "Small town" connections... make everything so much more personalized, yes? And speaking of small town personalized support-- after moving, Maribeth offered to come by my house to help my husband and me set up our Drive Safe program beacons/ app... and come right over she did! I know this sounds ridiculously weird, but I actually feel like my State Farm peeps are family now. I couldn't be happier.

Fast forward a year later, we closed the store down in April and needed to cancel the policies. This is when the service fell apart. It has always been that Elena said she would call me back, and I had to text, email and left voicemails, and kept calling back until I caught her picking up the phone. She promised lots of things, but was not able to deliver any of them on timely manner. She replied to my email saying that she cancelled the policies, and I still got charged for the premium payments for another two months, then I had to call the insurance company and took care of it myself. I would not do any business with this agency again, or at least not with Elena.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jeff Venuto while shopping for new insurance. He was extremely knowledgeable, warm and quite funny. He explained everything in terms that I, the layman could even understand; and didn't make me feel like I was a 3-year-old learning how to tie my shoes for the very first time. He was patient, understanding and extremely eager to assist me in any which way he could. I did not feel as if I was another number or an inconvenience like it seems you see more and more with businesses. He was so dedicated to me as a client, he even gave me his personal phone number just in case I have any other questions or issues. Again, not something you typically see anymore. Anywhooo, I would highly recommend giving him a call or stopping by, even if you have insurance (like I did) he seems to enjoy helping people get the best bang for their buck, so it can't hurt to look into it, right? It saved me a bit of cash!
