I signed up for the cheapest membership, which only included group classes 2x a week. It's not cheap, but it's what keeps me accountable. Their limited schedule forced me to become a morning person and wake up early to get my workout done. I've realized I love doing that because I have more time in the day. I'm so grateful for the trainers Abby and Terra, who enthusiastically teach the classes with energetic music, fix my form, and motivate me to be better. I feel a significant difference in my mood, energy, overall strength, and confidence level. I'm so grateful for the owner John. He's always supportive and always greets me with a smile on his face. From day one, he was welcoming and made me, someone who's always been intimidated by big box gyms, feel at ease. Go check this place out! It'll transform your life!

John, the owner and the trainers here are top-notch--Abby, Terra, Maggie & Jen really take the time to understand your fitness goals and personalize your workouts to fit your needs. With Kat it's more than just weight loss, she is mindful of your body and possible injuries her workout may cause. She notices if you are having a hard time doing an exercise because of a muscle weakness or overcompensation. She works with you to show you how to strengthen that area without injury. I think Katrina out does any other trainer that I've seen because she understands the body so well. I've been to see her for back problems and she knows the exact muscle that is tight! I have tight calves and she has shown me how to loosen them with some really great stretches and my favorite, the foam roller. She definitely emphasis stretching before and after her sessions, so that your body can recover and you don't hate her too much after a workout. ;) She also works with oils and natural supplements that most all her clients swear by. If you have a cold, she has a remedy. Slow metabolism? She's got something for that too! And many other ailments. I've meant to write a review for a while and kept getting sidetracked during these crazy times…read more I'd like to recommend Optimal Performance Training to anyone looking for personal attention and a place with great equipment. This indoor/outdoor facility is also perfect when health and safety is your top priority. Brandon made sure everything I touched was clean and was very diligent about keeping all clients significantly distanced from one another. This trainer payed close attention to my needs (I have past body injuries) and adjusted the workout to my fitness level. I always feel the right kind of sore after working out here.

Found Josh on Yelp, and all of the reviews serve to be true. I had a great time working out with Josh! The one on one help was exactly what I wanted/needed. He knows how to push a body to actually produce results rather than pushing a body too far for what feels like "results". After my workout, Josh recommended that I used his cryotherapy machine to help heal one of my previous knee injuries. As a former competitive cheerleader I have been used to dunking my knee into ice buckets, which was something I always tried to avoid. Hating the ice buckets lead to not healing my injuries completely. Josh's cryotherapy was easy to use and not even close to the teeth grinding pain those ice buckets gave me. Really loved it and will be coming back for that amazing experience. Thank you Josh for the workout, will definitely be seeing you soon!

I've been fortunate enough to be a member of Anytime Fitness and it is such a positive experience!!…read more I started my fitness journey at the Mission Oaks Anytime Fitness on 3/8/2022 and as of today (4/10/2023) I've logged 230+ workout sessions at a variety of Anytime Fitness gyms across the country. The Mission Oaks gym is exactly I needed: not too crowded; Mac is awesome (manager); all patrons are respectful and nice; equipment is in fine condition and the gym is always clean. If you're making goals to shed some lbs, get into shape or simply need to burn off some energy, your friendly Mission Oaks Anytime Fitness is a great place to look into.

The equipment here is pretty beat up, with some of the benches having cracked torn vinyl,…read morereminiscent more of someone's garage gym than an actual gym you'd pay a membership for. Some of the treadmills spend much of their time broken, with the heart rate monitors not working. The bench I laid down on to do dumbbell press had little to no support and wobbled. They used to have a large screen and video training in the back but that's long gone. The gym gives the vibe that it's barely holding on and could close any day. Place looks dirty, people leave machines covered in sweat, and teens come in at night with their buddies to take selfies on machines. The only benefit is it's open 24/7 and has at least some machines to workout each muscle group, though it may not be the machine you're looking for, and it may be taken up with someone on their cellphone for 20 minutes trying to position themselves just right for their tik tok photo. The multi-gym membership is pretty convenient though. There are some AF's that have way more equipment, and this one just a few years ago seemed to have more equipment. It's a pretty small gym that could use some updating.
