For my 25th birthday, K got me a spa day!! I was so excited he found a place in Westlake Village. I signed up for a Sacred Hot Stone Massage and a Deep Clean Facial. I was there from 11:15 am until about 2:00 pm. Carlos did my massage and it was amazing. Hours and hours of dance rehearsals melted away from my body. Kris, the owner, did my facial and that was also great. My face is still glowing from it. Thankfully she said my good nutrition has blessed me with good skin and I only needed 4 extractions. Without the gifts the visit would have cost $200, which I find to be a great deal. Hi, my wife introduced me to Kris a couple of years ago, a facial gift card. I had never had a facial before and was frankly kind of laughing about doing it. Not only was it a great experience but Kris found an odd "mole" (tiny) that she suggested I have looked at. Being a typical guy I totally forgot about it/ignored her. 6 months later my wife got me another facial. Kris reminded me about our conversation 6 months before (nicely) and I booked a dermatologist appointment the next week. Within 30 seconds the doctor confirmed it was precancerous and removed it!!!!!! So.....that alone is worth going to Kris! But it continues.....I have always had an issue with red skin around my nose and flair ups of dry skin. Kris recommended I try a dairy free diet. Again I kind of ignored her . Fast forward another 6 months and by accident I stop drinking Milky coffee......and would you know it, skin improves. I am now dairy free (almost) with skin that looks good! I've been seeing Kris for several years now and I love the experience that she provides when I receive a facial or a massage. I've been to other places for massages (I won't trust anyone else with a facial) and no other places compare to the service that she provides. The music, lighting, aromas of the of the products, etc. that she uses in addition to her personality, create an atmosphere that is relaxing and you feel like you're at a spa. Above anything else, she wants and does provide an experience that is a relaxing and professional experience to relieve all the aches and pains and the products that she uses are nothing but the best. Additionally, she has recently developed a skin care system that is above all others that I've used in the past. I used Clinique, Estee Lauder and more recently Rhonda Allison skin care line for a few years until I switch about 3 months ago to the KM Skin Care products and am VERY happy with the results. I recently visited KM Skin and had a wonderful facial and awesome eyebrow shaping with Kris! Wow, this really is as good as it gets! From the moment I walked in the door, Kris made me feel welcomed and relaxed. I loved the "boutique" spa feeling, with super-personalized service, which you just don't get at larger facilities. The products Kris used smelled yummy - at one point I wanted to tear whatever it was she was applying to my face out of hand and eat it, it smelled so good! My dull skin was so soft with a glowing youthful appearance when I left, I felt like I looked 10 years younger! I also had a terrible crooked eyebrow from a previous eyebrow waxing mishap and Kris was able to fix it right up, evening my brows to excellent perfection! I loved the treatment so much, I bought two more sessions right there. Wow! I tend to frequent this area a lot due to the lovely Zin's restaurant downstairs, but I had never seen or heard of this place. Lucky for me, Groupon had a deal, so I became aware of Kris and her "fantasticness!" I came in for a facial and eyebrow shaping, and I must say, I will definitely go back. WORST "experience" ever!!! And I put 'experience' in quotation marks because I never even received the treatments I had scheduled for BOTH TIMES! The first time I made the appt, I spoke with Kris on the phone and scheduled it for the 3rd week in Feb. When I got there, she didn't even have me on the books AT ALL--and although I was disappointed, I understand that sometimes these things happen so I took out my day planner and sat with her in her office to reschedule. At which point she then told me that she didn't have any Thursdays available till the first week in April (a month and a half away which seemed odd to me.) I also should say that I chose her "spa" because I was given a spa gift certificate and her place was one of the spas that took this type of gift certificate. She then asked me for the gift certificate and we rescheduled for the first Thurs in April. So fast forward to April when I walked into her place on Thurs, she actually looked at me and said "why are you here?" I thought she was joking and said "you're not really asking me this?" because I really thought she was joking! And then she tells me that she doesn't have me down till the next Thurs and "can't I just change my appt time" AGAIN? Now I'm not only disappointed but pissed because I sat with her in her office and scheduled this appt with her. Not only did she not apologize or seem upset that she had messed up twice in her scheduling, but actually tried to blame me for the mix up!!! I have NEVER, EVER missed an appt, scheduled one at a different time, etc. (and I make a lot of beauty/personal/business appts and have never gotten one wrong!!!) And now suddenly there's been a "mix-up" twice??? So I told her I wanted my money back and I just want to to to another place. She proceeds to tell me that she has already redeemed my coupon which (I'm told by other professionals in her field) she should never have done without rendering services. Then she tells me that she doesn't have that money "in her account" (HOW UNPROFESSIONAL) but then suddenly tells me she's going to write me a check for the entire amount "even though I get charged 18%" (AGAIN, HOW UNPROFESSIONAL.) She actually had the gall to tell me she didn't understand why I was so upset and that my attitude was "bad energy." What a freak and a flake! Thankfully, when I went to cash her check (which I did immediately given that she had told me she didn't have the money in her account) it went through and I used that money to reschedule facial/massage appts at a much better/professional salon. read more

What a wonderful experience! I rushed into the tranquil salon after a hectic commute and was immediately relaxed when Kristine greeted me with a warm smile and calming presence. I had a gift certificate through Spafinder that I have been holding onto for a year. Finally, I got some time off from work and took part of my vacation in Westlake Village. I chose KM SKin and Body Solutions because they reviews were all raves - and they were RIGHT!!! I got the "Re-Balance" package which is a hot stone massage and personalized facial. I knew as soon as I walked through the door it would be an amazing experience. Kris is very sweet and warm, and asked me some questions and explained the procedures. She made sure my temperature was comfortable. She worked quietly and gave me an awesome stone massage. But I have to say, it was the facial that was the star of the show. I have had acne and sensitive skin issues my whole life and I am VERY protective of my skin. She examined my skin thoroughly and explained what she was doing every step of the way. While (mild and delicious-smelling) products were working their way into my skin, Kris would continue to massage my head, hands, and feet. It was the most lovely, relaxing, nurturing experience. I booked an appointment for the living social deal: massage, facial, and eyebrows and was a little hesitant throughout the experience because i didn't want to leave with a red face and peel in a few days. kris reassured me and checked to make sure everything was ok (i kept saying my face was stinging) and before i left, i looked in the mirror and was SHOCKED! my skin was radiant and did a complete 180! She was able to smooth out my forehead and get rid of a lot of clogged pores and offered a lot of useful tips and information about how I can help my skin and recommended some over the counter cleansers/moisturizers that could use. Kris didn't even try to sell me anything and truly knows her stuff!
