Best place for my Mom We moved my mom in more than 2 years…read moreago right after the place opened. She came from another assisted living that was part of a big chain and was horrible. This place brand new and is really bright and beautiful, the food is way better than others. It was about the same price as others. Everyone seemed friendly and the best thing was the owners were there every day . Originally she had a really nice little one bed apartment on the AL side. But then dementia started to take hold so she was moved to the memory care. They keep more of an eye on them in memory care I slept better at night knowing she was in this place, it was really nice, extremely secure, clean and above all she was happy there. Which really made me happy because she absolutely hated the one she was in before. My mom passed away last week and I couldn't believe how many people from this place called or texted me to give condolences. They really care. i thank them all for taking care of my mom

Renee explained how services worked and said she would locate someone for me. Paperwork was tedious, but all so worth it. Rosario was an absolute angel! She assisted me with walking, showering, staying hydrated, and taking medications on schedule. She even cooked oatmeal and chicken soup, just like my mom would have! Rosario went above and beyond healthcare standards, wore facemasks, sanitized her hands whenever she was handing something. She took care of me just like a family member would have.

I thank God we found Clayton Oaks for my grandparents! We…read morerecently moved my grandparents to Clayton Oaks after their previous AL raised the rent over $700 in the year and a half they lived there. We have been so impressed by everything at CO. The medicine management was on time and correct the day they moved in. The food is delicious. The staff is amazing! Aziza at the front desk, Holly in the front office, Pearlie in marketing, Hector the new director, Laura in medical, Rosie in dining and Jenna in housekeeping are already like family to us. Hector and Laura even shared information to help us keep my grandparents at a lower level of care so we don't have to worry about moving them again due to money issues. We had no idea, until Hector and Laura told us, that Hospice care could take on some of the care they needed at no cost to them. Their previous AL just did everything they could to add costs. Give Clayton Oaks a chance to bless your family as they have blessed mine!

The performance was truly engaging, bringing a unique energy and artistry to our community. A huge thank you goes out to our Life Enrichment Director, Shonta Thompson, and our Executive Director, Coco Murray, for sponsoring this event. Their generosity made it possible for us to enjoy not only a professional-grade performance but also a delightful spread of refreshments. In addition to the main show, the game and door prizes were enjoyed by the Drama Club members and the many residents who attended. It was a fantastic day of culture and connection at Clayton Oaks. We are already looking forward to the next production!

Please note this review isn't based on a Resident or loved one residing here. I was here this…read moreevening for a beautiful and touching memorial for a wonderful man and neighbor. He was a Nurse Practitioner and traveled to many nursing homes, hospitals and facilities throughout his career. This was one of his favorites and the home was generous enough to allow his memorial be held here. The memorial was held in the lobby/public area which was very comfortable and cozy. The staff was very kind and respectful to all in attendance. The physician that our loved one worked with and the Hospice pastor were great liaisons between the nursing home and the guests. After the service we were directed to an adjoining room where a light buffet and refreshments were setup. The room was perfect for this setup and allowed everyone to mingle between the two areas. We ran over the allotted time but never asked to leave or cut it short. We really appreciated the kindness they showed to the family and friends.

This is the most God awful place! Don't ever leave a love one of yours in this place. The…read moredirector doesn't really care about the residents, but she puts on a front that she does to get you in there. The wait staff are rude and do not help the residents who need help cutting their meat on the place etc. In the memory care area personnel are nice and try to do their best but their hands are tied by management. This place is old and outdated. Since I left this review my mother became very ill with pneumonia and even with my persistent that she needed to see a doctor, Colonel Oaks said there was nothing wrong with her. I had to call 911 to get her out and taken to the hospital. One month from the day she was taken by ambulance from Colonel Oaks to the hospital she passed away. Please don't take your love ones to this place.
