My nephew Cruz getting 6th on the leaderboard, great job bud!

Definitely a really cool spot to hang out and have fun with family and friends. Expect to get dirty because the floor is straight peanut shells lol a bag cost $1 Pizza was decent, but very very pricey. 2 large specialty, 1 medium cheese, 2 large ranches and 7 drinks was $140 Service was good, a lot of young kids. I think a male server was teaching a new female server and he was kinda hella rude to her, that made me pretty sad.

Vibes and cool decor all over the place!!! I loved it.

This place is awesome! Feels so nostalgic like walking into a time capsule. So fun for the kiddos with arcade games and board games. It reminds me of somewhere you would go as a kid. So glad a place like this still exists! The pizza was so good! We got ham and pineapple and sausage and olive. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was a huge line and took about 40 mins to get out pizza but it was fun to play the games while we waited. Made for a great family experience with quality time. If you do get over stimulated easy, there is a back patio with some fresh air.

This is a great place to grab pizza with friends on a Saturday night! We had a group of 11 & they were able to accommodate us very easily I split the RoadKill pizza with a friend. The toppings included: Reindeer Sausage, Pepperoni, Salami, Italian Sausage, Canadian Style Bacon. While the pizza took a while to come out, when it did, it was worth the wait. The pizza had a good balance with the toppings & the reindeer sausage was very flavorful. My only critique is that I felt there was too much marinara sauce but that's a personal preference. If you're a sauce lover, you will enjoy that! We also split the cheese bread and it was very good! Very cheesy and warm. I can't wait to come back & try more items from the menu!

Here is a giant piece of crust that they pretend is pizza.

I asked the locals in town for their recommendations and they said they love this place. I can say it's one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. It makes you question whether or not the people that run the place have actually ever had a decent piece of pizza.. Do people in this town know what Pizza is? Just awful. I apologize to the owners, but this is so bad. I have to warn people away. Learn what a pizza is.

Denali pizza and salad on hotel plate and plastic ware.

This is a 3.5 review. We are staying at a local hotel in Pismo and were craving some good pizza. We ordered from Klondike's website to be delivered to our hotel in Pismo Beach. Our pizza and salad were delivered timely, warm and delicious (Denali pizza and almost Sicilian salad). My issue is that knowing that the we're delivering to a hotel, they did not provide any plates, plastic ware or hot peppers and cheese. Luckily our hotel was able to provide a couple of plates and plastic ware but I think that these should have been provided by Klondike.

Ask the Community - Klondike Pizza

Are dogs allowed on outside patio?

Do you still have all you can eat pizza on Wednesday?

The Tuesday night Chowdown was canceled. Sadly, the guidelines for serving food changed due to COVID and they are no longer allowed to serve food they way they did for the Chowdown.

Are you having live music?

no.

Are patrons still allowed to throw peanut shells on the ground in the outside dining area? I like to stick em in my mouth when I eat them so I'm curious of the disposal method that best limits the spread of COVID-19.

We now sell our peanuts in bags for $1. Please do not throw them on the outside patio floor.

Delightful! First off, the pizza is REALLY good. Delicious; the crust isn't thin and isn't thick,…read morebut has just the right balance of crunch and doughiness. The staff is really friendly. I've been greeted with smiles and helpfulness every time. I will say that the inside of the place is small and overly warm; it reminds me of every small pizza joint I went to in NYC back in the day, so it's not terrible by any means, but it is warm. The good news is there is seating outside, so when I get this, that's usually what I do. Very worth a trip. Enjoy it!

Zero complaints on the service or time it took to get my to go order. Wings- honestly nothing special here. They were good but tiny and standard oven baked wings. I also ordered spicy and got plain wings. For the price I was definitely a little let down! Pesto chicken pizza- again it was solid but nothing special for me. Good flavor combo and good ingredients. Crust was a little on the softer side but a solid pie. That said at these prices you expect to be blown away or have something unique to justify paying almost double any other gourmet pizza place. Overall a solid pizza spot but personally can't justify paying this much. If you want something different, as far as specialty pizzas, then give them a try.

Came in around 8 o'clock on a Wednesday night, my boyfriend and I just wanted to eat a couple of…read moreslices there and take the rest of our pizza home. One guy was doing everything, taking our order and making the order and packing it and checking out the order. He had other online orders while making ours, so we asked if we could dine in. He gave my boyfriend a face and just nodded at him. Maybe ten minutes later, he comes back up and says he still needs to make another order before ours, so do we still want to dine in or take it togo? We felt forced to take it togo, so we just said we would. We went next door to go get some agua frescas. When we came back, he checked out a couple of online orders and then told us our pizza was ready but he forgot to make our garlic roses but that they were in the oven currently. I appreciated the honesty but then he asked if we wanted to wait for it or wanted a refund. So that kind of gave me the idea that he hadn't started on them and wanted to see if we'd be willing to just leave with a refund. We wanted to try them so we said we'd wait and eat some of our pizza while we waited. When we ordered he told us they ran out of pineapple and I was pretty sad about that. If there's one topping I'd really like on my pizza, it's pineapple. But we saw this place was Pinoy owned on life of San Juan's IG and we wanted to try it. We got a combo pizza, it was good. We thought whatever size we got would be NY style but it only comes in XL. So we just got a regular pizza but it was still good. Not impressed though, especially by the garlic roses which we were excited for. I could tell he didn't want to make them, there was no garlic and barely any cheese so it was just bread. But it was cooked perfectly, for it just being ... bread roses haha. He forgot our marinara sauce with it and when my boyfriend asked he gave him another look but then said oh yeah. I forgot that. So service was kind of disheartening, sunset was nice while eating our pizza but I did feel uncomfortable knowing he just didn't want us there. Instead of asking us twice if we still wanted to dine in or if we still wanted our garlic roses, he probably could've just spent the time actually making our food and we would've been out of there quicker. It just wasn't a good ambiance and we definitely felt like it wasn't anything special. It was disappointing after watching the life of San Juan IG video about it. It looked really good, but yeah the experience and pizza just wasn't anything special and I was kind of excited I thought there'd be more Pinoy fusion flavors or something. Anyways, dont think we'll be back.

More Can Be Less…read more.... It was that time of the year - my birthday - so we decided to have dinner "a notch above" where we typically go. I've been to Ember 3 or 4 times in the past 8 years, but another visit was overdue. - Overall: 4 - Location: 5 - Ambiance: 4 - Menu: 4 - Wine List Selections: 5 - Wine List Prices: 3 - Food: 4 - Service: 5 - Price and Value: 4 - Parking: 4 - Location: Convenient from Pismo Beach to Nipomo, but San Luis Obispo to Santa Maria is not too much of a stretch. - Ambiance: Rustic, yet contemporary. A wood fired pizza oven is just left of the entrance...a large bar is ahead on the right...wooden tables are arrayed throughout and there's an outdoor patio for nice weather. We sat at a table for 2 in the raised section toward the back since there's less hubbub away from the front. - Menu: Moderate in size with lots of creative sounding selections. We had 2 suggestions for improvement - Add soup and definitely a few more choices for vegetarians. - Wine List: Excellent, but no bargain. Ember has a really nice group of wines indicating it's been curated with a knowing eye. However, prices are twice - or more - what you'd pay in a store. - Food: Excellent...if a bit heavy. My wife and I shared 2 appetizers - Pepper Creek Farm Heirloom Tomatoes ($18) and Fried Green Tomatoes ($23). Both were very good, but many added ingredients overpowered the main feature: Tomatoes. My entree was Swordfish ($44). The piece if fish was fairly small, but the accompanying vegetables and sauces filled out my plate. My wife had the Half Chicken ($38) which was big enough to take some home for lunch the next day. She, too, liked her dish but felt too much "froth" obscured the "main event". Sometimes simple is best. The dessert menu was small - 3 items - so we passed. We had a bottle of Talley Chardonnay ($56) which was a fine choice for our meal. One other item to mention was the house bread. Fantastic. I'd but loaves if they sold it. - Service: Fine. "Bill S" took care of our table with a light yet knowing touch. - Price and Value: Reasonable. Our bill before tax and tip of $174 was about as expected for a nice meal. - Parking: Adequate. There's a lot in front of Ember which is fine when it isn't crowded. Otherwise, you might need to use a neighboring street. Ember is certainly worth a visit, but many of the dishes might offer more than what you'd prefer. Next time we'll get one of their famous pizzas.
