I contacted a few places through Yelp and Huntington Rug Cleaning offered the most reasonable and transparent pricing, quickest turnaround time, and didn't require a deposit. (Payment is made when rugs are delivered). I also liked the fact that they're locally owned and have been in business for decades. They say timing is everything, and it just so happened that when I called the owner (Robert) he said his son/employee (Jake) was in my nabe and offered to send him right over for a free estimate. Jake is super knowledgeable and friendly, first we chatted about rugs, movies and other stuff. Then we agreed on a reasonable price for cleaning and a new rug pad, and my dirty rugs were whisked away. Jake stayed in touch over the week and even sent me a Youtube video of the rugs being cleaned! Just got the rugs back and they look and smell fantastic, can hardly recognize them (in a good way). When talking to Nick and Keyvon about the situation they had to clean, they gave us their full attention and were extremely supportive and compassionate towards us. I guess this is usually a hidden fee for some services charge for. The couch was super filthy before, now it's a good spot to sit! Not totally grime free, there are still some wear, but it's an old couch. Now it's a clean old couch!
