It was completely wrapped in poison ivy vines that were 2" thick. Funny part here is Scott said he had passed by my shop many times and seen the tree with broken branches around it and knew it was a problem before I even called him. They did not pull the weeds that had grown through the old mulch before putting down the new mulch over the top of it. So a week later all of the same old weeds have grown right back through the thin layer of mulch they put down. They also neglected to edge around the landscape to give it that crisp and sharp edge. I called and asked them to come back and pull the weeds and he was very condescending and disrespectful and said yeah weeds are gonna grow back there is nothing I can do about that except come back and and spray weedkiller on them. Hmmm... Maybe they should have sprayed the weed killer before putting the new mulch in? Or just actually pulled the weeds that were there. I have used various landscaping services through the years and have never been this disappointed. I cannot recommend them to anyone.

There was very little room for error and the Mitchell Tree & Stump Service, Inc. did a fantastic job. I've used them several times before and they never let me down. Eugenio Cruz and his team showed up at 9 a.m. and were finished by 2 p.m., with an hour lunch break in between. They not only took down the 4 trees but also pruned another tree in the backyard, grounded up branch debris, hauled off numerous tree logs, and grinded the stumps into sawdust.
