The other time I went was several years ago when restaurants still allowed smoking, which was not fun for me. But this time around it was cleaner and the beer was great, as usual! We sat in the back area for groups and it was not too busy on a week night. To start, I ordered the cerveza con miel de palma. This was a light beer served with a dark honey in the bottom. Very good if you like sweet flavor in your brew! I then tried a beer with some lime and tequila which was also good. HBH has regular beers but also mixes which are a little more fun with flavors. We ordered a pizza and fries to share as well. The service was fine and more friendly than most places in Santiago. My only complaint is that the toilet did not flush and the hand dryers were not working. Overall, good experience.

Maybe we came here on the right day, but a cool jam session changed our mood, and the IPA we got is really good after average craft beer around the corner. Anyway, this is place I'm telling my friends to come visit whenever they are in Santiago. The place is crowded, but maybe we got lucky and got a table.

We had several waiters bringing us food and drinks we didn't order, yet had to ask several times for water. At the end of the night our bill included 4 items we didn't order. The ceviche was good but overpriced. The sandwiches were really good. I'd say the best part about this restaurant was the ambiance and selection of beers, but I wouldn't go back just because it was frustrating how bad the service was.

Depending on the night, you will find different bands and styles of music but you can always count on there being live music and/or karaoke. They have delicious bar platters (everyone always raves about the meat and french fry platter) although I recommend their delicious veggie quesadillas. My favorite drink they make are their margaritas - they are a perfect mix of lemon, tequila and triple sec. They also have a pretty good selection of both international and national beers. Tip: For a great ladies night I recommend coming on Wednesdays Karaoke night, where happy hour is available until 12am for women.
