After that... a family. And in and were so loud. Talking in the phone with the speaker on.. it happened often in South America..... I was hoping a server would tell them to mute it. They did not. I decided to move... as I can't enjoy my meal with that. Once I moved... delightful. Service and food delicious. Can't wait to return.

The most unusual option is the flamenquines, which are sort of a tapas version of a Scotch egg with pork, pepper, and an egg in the center with a nice fried crust. Check it out! El Txoko Alaves is best when you come in a group. They serve excellent Spanish tapas that you won't want to skip and in order to try as many as possible, I recommend coming with friends and family to get a little taste of everything. They serve wild boar (jabalí) which is delicious as well as suckling pig (cochinillo, seriously yum!) and boquerones, a dish from the south of Spain which is basically fresh anchovies (recommended by the waiter). They have a great bar with a comfortable and almost mysterious atmosphere that makes you want to start drinking their excellent sangria as soon as you get seated. Tip: They don't only serve tapas but also main dishes which include their menu del dia. It starts at 12:30pm and for 13 mil you get a 3 course meal plus either a glass of wine, pisco sour or beer and a coffee or tea!
