We scheduled a follow up appointment in 2 weeks but told me that if the condition improved to just call and cancel that follow up. I went to this office for a skin cancer diagnosis, and they stated they would only send four samples to the lab at a time. They then told me they could only remove one skin cancer per visit due to insurance reasons, which was absolutely untrue. I have a PPO and have previously had multiple skin cancers removed in a single visit. I ultimately went to UCLA, where they removed five at once without any issue. When I relayed this back to the original office, they changed their explanation from "insurance limitations" to "office policy." After removing two lesions on two separate visits, they then advised leaving the wounds open without stitches to heal on their own. Once again, this proved to be poor guidance. I am now left with two gaping wounds--see photo for one example--that are healing extremely slowly. One on my back is now four weeks out and looks essentially unchanged. This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I strongly suggest going elsewhere for care.

I used to go to Blue Med Spa in Sherman Oaks, and every visit there would take 1-2 hours. The whole experience always felt like constant upselling from start to finish, from the front desk to the injector. It just wasn't enjoyable. My visit today was the complete opposite. The office is beautiful and very welcoming. When you walk in there's chilled champagne, orange juice for mimosas, and a lot of skincare products displayed. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first because I thought it might be another high-pressure environment. Instead, everyone was incredibly kind and relaxed. I told Kelly upfront that I had about $450-$500 to spend, and she didn't bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable about having a budget. She treated my 11 lines and forehead wrinkles for $300, after the receptionist helped me apply a $65 coupon that she informed me about at check out. I was honestly expecting to only be able to afford my 11s like I used to at Blue, where just the forehead area would run around $550-$600 and crows feet were always extra. The difference here was huge. Kelly was thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. She explained what she was doing, listened to what I wanted, and never once pressured me to add anything or buy extra services or products. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I'm beyond impressed with the whole experience and so happy to be done with Blue Med Spa. I'll absolutely be back to have my crow's feet done, and I'm even considering signing up for their monthly pass. Highly recommend Kelly. Thank you so much!

At my appointment, the doctor told me with attitude that they don't do it at all - he didn't even know what his own office offers. Front desk then revealed a different doctor handles the treatment, but he only comes in once a quarter. Why wasn't I scheduled with him from the start? When front desk convinced me to go back in, that same doctor suddenly claimed they could get the treatment approved - but I'd have to pay out of pocket for the medication. He was making definitive statements about insurance coverage when he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. Front desk promised to file appeals on my behalf. Three weeks of total silence. I called back multiple times through their call center - each call got me a different story and no callback from anyone at the actual office. First they said yes they do appeals, then no they don't. I even had to call to find out they canceled my appointment - they never bothered to contact me. I requested a refund. They refused, claiming appeals were filed when I can see in my app that only the initial request exists. This office is completely disorganized, the doctor doesn't know his own policies, and nobody there is on the same page.
