They were supposed to clean my cabinets, furniture, and walls of soot that accumulated from a kitchen fire. Terrible. They took a wet cloth and dragged it across my cabinets and furniture leaving water marks everywhere. They did not remove soot from cabinet handles, corners or inside the cabinets. Also when I asked them about the inside and dishes they took a wet cloth and wiped my dishes. I had to wash every cabinet and dish over. They mopped the floor but did not get up the soot that was ground in to the floor. It was money waisted. I am extremely disappointed. I had to hire another company to finished what Green Genie started. UGH!

(Then made a phone call to his boss, who called us lots of names while the kid's volume was all the way up. My husband had a few choice words, then he was summarily removed from the premesis.) IAP were very professional from start to finish. We found them at the Buffalo Home Show initially, and were able to make an appointment very quickly with a quote over the phone. The guys who came out were quick and efficient. They have a completely enclosed vacuuming system, so no gross stuff gets away. When they are done, they show you the filters they used and all your bagged vent bunnies. Our system was resealed, and we have had no problems since. It has been 3 years, so we are due to get our system cleaned again, and as an added reminder, IAP was at my school last week cleaning the vents before the kids start. The guys there were very friendly and spent 2 days making sure the entire system was good. Can't wait to work with them again.

I called the company and said I didn't get a receipt.. pricing of the job was reasonable. Peter Gordon the manager called me and sent me for free $20 filters to make up for the four poor performance of the crew.. I told them they didn't need to send me anything. The only reason I called was for a receipt.. but I did accept. I would use them again if it was a different crew.. I am happy with the work that was completed. If they did the job properly, it would've been four or five stars instead of just three.

I rent the second floor of an old house in the Lower West Side area of Buffalo. The stairs to the…read moreattic are in my closet. A few years ago, the owners had the roof replaced. A whole new roof. The roof had been cedar shake, with two or three layers of asphalt shingles. None of us, the owners nor I, had had any experience with a roof replacement. Repair, yes. Re-shingling, yes. In a nutshell, the attic was completely unusable after the old roof was taken off and a new roof put on. Soot and debris were so thick, there was no way to even go up the stairs. So it was left in limbo...maybe eight years. Over the past couple of years I had called a few cleaning outfits. No one wanted to touch it after I explained the situation. Until ServPro. So I gave their info to the landlord. ServPro are the bomb. Their slogan: Like it Never Happened. True. Dave and his crew of two started on Monday morning. Wednesday afternoon Dave returned to collect the last piece of equipment, an industrial strength fan with filter, which had been left to continue running overnight for completely cleaning the air up there. All of the ServPro employees were completely professional -- courteous and considerate at all times. I really don't think they'd seen anything quite this bad...well, maybe cleaning up after a fire or a flood would be worse, but an attic...and in June with outside temps in the 80s? And they had to wear full body coveralls over their clothes. Yikes. But no complaints. They took it all in stride and did an awesome job. Thank you, ServPro!
